Chapter 9. Ara in the hospital

Hearing a question from Giselle, Bram immediately stopped his eating activities and looked at the woman he loved deeply.

"Why silence Bram? Don't tell me you're not going to divorce her?" Giselle was courting Bram with questions that urged her. It is clear that Giselle is beginning to fear the loss of Bram.

Bram smiled faintly, then he replied to Giselle with the same answer as before. "I'm definitely going to get a divorce from her, but-have to have her divorce me herself."

"Why didn't you just divorce her? What if he won't let you go, Bram?" Giselle was agitated just by thinking about it. Seeing the look of Bramasta Wiratama's wife, Giselle feels that Ara will not be willing to part from a perfect man like Bram.

"She will definitely let me go. By now she must have known that I was trying to flirt-" Bram's speech was cut off there.

Geez, I almost slipped. Giselle can't figure out that Ara is pregnant.

"Why-what's Bram?"

"It's okay.you just calm down in 1 month, he will definitely ask for a divorce from me." said Bram as he gently rubbed the corner of Giselle's lips that there was a little sauce there.

Giselle looked at Bram with teary eyes. "You're serious, right?"

"Yes dear, seriously." replied Bram with a gentle smile. A different smile with a sneaky sweet smile that he showed Ara.

I'm sure Ara has miscarried by now.

Bram's plan was to call his men after he got out of Giselle's apartment. Bram does not want Giselle to listen to his conversation with his men.

After a meal with Giselle, Bram returned to the office that afternoon. He called his men on the way to the office.

"WHAT?! She escaped?! Well...you guys aren't becus huh?!" hardik Bram on his men inside that phone line.

"Damn! So the baby still exists? I had to be sweet to her first and I was so lazy to do this!" Bram was riled up while pressing the steering wheel tightly.

On the way home to her apartment, Regan was in the car and noticed how the rain was beginning to fall on the windshield. Regan immediately turned on the car glass cleaner. "So the rain was small, now it's so heavy." muttered Regan as he occasionally stared at the cloudy sky and rain.

As she passed through an alley leading to near the forest, Regan saw someone lying on the side of the road. It looks like a woman wearing a blue blouse and long hair.

"Oh my God, how sorry is that woman!"

Regan immediately pulled her car over by the side of the road, then she got out of her car and approached the woman lying on the asphalt. He was raining and must have been cold too.

Long hair that covered the woman's face.

"Mom! Ma'am!" Regan shook the woman's body amid the torrential rain.

How shocked Regan was when she clearly saw the woman's face. He knows her very well. "A-ara? Ara why are you? Ara!" Regan panicked to see her students unconscious in the rain.

The man immediately carried Ara's body, not forgetting he brought Ara's sling bag and took her into the car, to be immediately taken to the hospital.

"Ara...What happened to you?" muttered Regan, occasionally looking next to him anxiously. Right there Ara was, sometimes unconscious with a pale face.

Arriving at the hospital, Regan holds Ara and enters the hospital. Lay the woman on the gurney and taken to the ER room for handling.

Outside the ER room, Regan seems confused because she does not know the contact number of Ara's husband. He only had telephone contact at the Wiratama family home.

He could have opened Ara's cell phone in the woman's bag, but he couldn't have done that because it would have been considered rude.

"Yes, I have no choice but to call her husband's family." Regan reached into the cell phone in her pocket, then she immediately called the contact number at the Wiratama family home.

Aryan who happened to be not far from the house phone, immediately picked up the phone.

"Assalamualaikum." said Regan.

"Waalaikumsalam, who is this?"

"True, I am Aryan Wiratama...Who am I talking to?" asked Aryan who was unfamiliar with the voice of this man.

"Sir, I'm sorry I interrupted his time.I am Regan, Haura's lecturer at the college, I want to inform you that Haura is currently in the hospital." explained Regan without further ado.

"W-what? Ara's in the hospital? Which hospital, sir?" aryan asked frantically at the news about her daughter-in-law's granddaughter.

Regan said the address of the hospital as well as where Ara is being treated now that Ara has been moved from the ER room to the outpatient room. All the costs of Regan's hospital bear it.

"Doctor how's he doing?"

"Our father's wife was dehydrated and I indicated that there was an anesthetic in her body. But the baby is fine and can survive. But I recommend that your wife get treatment first because the fever is still not down."

"Sorry doc-but I'm not-"

Ara is pregnant?

Regan is shocked because she just found out that Ara is pregnant. The man thinks that Ara is happy with Bram.

After almost 15 minutes of Regan waiting for Ara in the ward, Bram, Deni and Aryan come to the hospital.

Regan greets Bram, Deni and Aryan politely. "What is the father of Ara's lecturer?" ask Bram first.

"Yes sir."

"Thank you for saving my wife. If there were no fathers, something bad might happen to my wife" Bram said, extending his hand to Regan. Don't forget Bram showed a fake smile.

Her husband looked very friendly, it seemed like he loved Ara very much. Inner Regan.

"Together sir, then I'm sorry because I have to go home soon. May Ara get well soon."

"Thank you, Mr. Regan." Aryan also thanked Regan.

Bram and Aryan enter the hospital along with the arrival of the doctor who will go back to check on Ara's condition. While Regan was away from the hospital.

Aryan and Bram listen to the doctor's explanation that Ara is pregnant and is very important to maintain mental health as well as physical. Aryan was so happy to know her daughter-in-law's granddaughter was pregnant.

"Allah Allah, I will be a great-grandfather!" Aryan rubbed his face happily. But on the other hand Bram is seen holding back anger even though his lips are smiling, but insincere.

Why did it even become like this? I didn't want Opa to know about Ara's pregnancy. Why isn't the baby just dead? What if she told Opa that I was trying to abort the baby?

"Congratulations sir" the doctor told Aryan and Bram.

"Bram, you have to take good care of your wife! Give your wife whatever she wants, don't push yourself too hard to work in the office. Remember that! You have a pregnant wife and Ara is pregnant with your first child." Aryan looked at Bram full of hope, he asked this and that to his granddaughter who was essentially told to look after Ara.

10 Minutes later, Ara opened her eyes and saw that Aryan and Bram were there. Ara looked at her husband sharply.

"Darling, are you conscious?" greet Bram while holding Ara's hand but you get a response from the woman.

"Ara, are you conscious, son? Rest first.with you still haven't come down. You have to take care of your health because you're pregnant, son." Aryan pays attention to Ara. If not for the old man, perhaps Ara would not have survived until this point. He's the only good person to her in the Wiratama family.

Ara looked at Aryan softly. "Opa..I want to talk to Mas Bram four eyes," said Ara suddenly.

"Oh...why son? What opa can't hear?" Aryan wonder.

"Hehe.. sorry Opa was I wanted to keep this pregnancy a secret first and Mas Bram was the first person to know about my pregnancy. So let me have a four-eye talk with him to say about our son." Ara's lying.

Aryan understood, then he and Deni went out of the room leaving Bram and Ara alone.

The two couples met with sharp eyes. "What are you talking about?" bram asked first to break the silence between himself and Ara.

"Mas... Isn't there something you want to explain to me?"
