Reaching Dreams

Reaching Dreams
Chapter 80

Since the morning of the house occupied by Rahma and her mother, it has been busy with the preparation of the marriage of Rahma and Frans.

Rahma repeatedly refused to wear the kebaya she tried yesterday. Rahma suddenly changed her mind when last night she said she was ready to get married. But this morning, Rahma said she did not want to marry Frans.

"How many girls are not virgins anymore, married to a man who does not take his virgin. Modern times, Mom. Virgin is not a barrier to happiness." Rahma protested when Ms. Sarifah asked her to immediately wear a bridal kebaya dress.

"Not necessarily the person will receive with a spacious chest, Rahma. It could be in front of you well, behind you he will spread your disgrace later. So it is better to marry the one who gets our virgin than to marry another man." she explained which one is better for Rahma to choose.

"Rahma doesn't love him, Mom. Rahma hates!" rahma replied with tears already dripping down her cheeks.

Ms. Sarifah immediately hugged her son who suddenly cried. He felt very nervous about the situation of his only child. It is difficult to persuade him.

Eventually, Sarifah contacted the psychiatrist who treated Rahma, to help persuade Rahma. Though as promised, the psychiatrist will come after the wedding is over. However, because she had been contacted by Sarifah, she finally came before the wedding took place.

After the psychiatrist came, Rahma also wanted to wear kebaya clothes that had been prepared. It was then operated by one of the famous wedding salon fairies in the capital. Although the class is not an artist, but the results are not much different from MUA.

When the wait has arrived, Rahma is asked to sit next to Frans because all are ready to be in their respective places. The event will be held soon, just waiting for the presence of Rahma who has not been persuaded since.

Rahma's body trembled and a grain of sweat the size of corn seeds adorned her face. A sense of trauma close to Frans back to her. Seeing this, Sarifah approached Rahma who was sitting beside Frans. Ms. Sarifah held Rahma's fingers and then stroked them to calm her down.

"All will be well!" whispered Sarifah's mother near Rahma's ear. Rahma nodded her head in response to the mother's whisper.

The wedding ceremony took place smoothly because with one breath, Frans said the sacred promise. Now it's Rahma's turn to kiss Frans's back. Rahma did not immediately do as her body trembled violently.

Ms. Sarifah rubbed Rahma's back slowly to reduce the vibration in Rahma's body.

"You can do it! Now kiss the back of your husband's hand as a sign of a wife's devotion to her husband. He will make you happy. Trust me Mother!" ms. Sarifah whispered again while rubbing Rahma's back incessantly.

Rahma's heart melted every time she heard a whisper from her mother. The mother's hand also gives her peace. Rahma finally grabbed Frans' hand trembling and kissed Frans's back. Frans swiftly kissed Rahma's forehead with a deep and loving kiss.

"Go! Get out of my room!" yell Rahma to Frans.

"Roman.."

"Goiii!" yelled Rahma while pelting Frans with the cosmetics on her dresser.

Frans remained standing nailed in place, his heart throbbing pain to see the condition of Rahma who did not recover as before.

Whenever Frans came into her room, Rahma would throw Frans out. If Frans' words still persist, Rahma would throw anything nearby at Frans. As a result, the room became a mess like it had just been hit by a boom explosion.

Ms. Sarifah and the old man who was in the living room, heard Rahma's cry running over.

"Rahmas! Stop, Rahma. Remember he's your husband!" shouted ma'am Sarifah reminded.

Rahma hysterical every just two with Frans. Even at this moment, everyone gathered in his room did not also dampen his fear.

Tiara who saw that immediately held Rahma in her arms. He hinted at Frans to get out of the room.

Frans, who caught a signal from Tiara, left Rahma's room. Frans's steps were followed by his parents.

"Patience, Frans! That's how a woman is, she's like a glass. We can forgive but we cannot forget when we are hurt. As with broken glass, it can be put together again. However, it cannot return as intact as ever. You have hurt her mentally, so it is difficult for Rahma to forget the events of the night." advice Mr. Edward to his son.

"In contrast to Dolly and Tiara, they did it out of liking, not out of coercion like you did with Rahma" he continued.
