Reaching Dreams
Chapter 108

"That has been my wish, we cannot force her to stay with us. We can only pray for you to be healthy always." replied Frans gave understanding to his wife.

They arrived home early in the morning as they departed from their hometown at night.

"Darling, wakeup! It has arrived." said Frans while rubbing Rahma's cheek.

Rahma slept very soundly, so Frans called repeatedly there was no response.

"Are you tasting the cake, or asking to be carried?" monologue Frans.

Finally Frans carrying Rahma ala bridal style because his wife did not wake up. The door of his car was closed using his feet shortly after Rahma was in the deck.

Frans put Rahma on the bed in her room. After that he picked up the bags of their clothes that were still left in the car. This morning their workers had no one to come, except the night watchman. The night watchman was leaving the house because his work hours were over.

Chico has taken both of his parents to Agatha's house. It turns out that Chico's father is Agatha's corporate business associate. (The company has been returned to Agatha after Lord divorced Agatha).

The Lord repeatedly came to Rahma's house, but the house was empty only workers who stayed.

This morning the Lord came back to Rahma's house. I hope to meet his wife and son. When he reached the yard, Frans' car was parked in the garage.

"They finally came home too, every day back and forth here was always empty. May they be inside." God sir monologue as he got out of his car.

The Lord went straight inside because he had a spare key. As she entered, it appeared to her that a paid housekeeper was mopping.

"Where's Madam?" ask the Lord to the worker.

"Sorry, Sir. Since I was up to an hour ago until now, have not met the mistress and miss, sir," the worker replied.

"After that! I searched for myself in the room." said Mr. Dewa finally, he stepped into Sarifah's room.

"Cari!" call God sir while opening the door of the room.

There was no reply from inside, the God sir entering the room turned out to be empty. He went in and searched to get into the bathroom.

"empty! Is it just Frans who came back here?" muttered the Lord.

Mr. Dewa ventured to open his wife's wardrobe. Just a little more clothes in the closet. The Lord went straight out of the room, he walked towards his daughter's room.

"Roman!" call God sir while knocking on the door, no word. The Lord entered the room.

Looks Rahma sleeping soundly while hugging the weeds. Her face looked calm and beautiful, full of motherhood.

"Father's son seems tired," said Mr. Dewa while fixing the location of the blanket until the neck, then the Lord sir came out of the room.

The Lord also knocked on the door of his daughter-in-law's room, who knew the son-in-law was still awake.

Coincidentally Frans who just finished bathing heard the sound of knocking on the door. He came to the door and opened it.

"Oh, Dad. Has it been a while since you came?" greeting Frans so open the door turned out to be the father-in-law who knocked.

"Dad, sit down first. Frans wants to change his clothes" said the son-in-law to his father-in-law.

"Yes" replied the middle-aged man while sitting on the bed as there was no sofa in the room.

Soon Frans returned in casual clothes.

"How are you doing, Dad? Do you want to see Mom?" frans asked to open the conversation.

"Good dad. I meant to see you all. I'd like to invite you to come to Christie's engagement, Dennis's brother.

"Mom won't come back here again, Dad. When's her fiance's show?" frans said while sitting in a chair.

"It's gonna be tonight because it just so happens that Christie's boyfriend's parents are gonna be tonight. Hows it? Could come 'both of you." obviously Mr. God seemed disappointed because he could not meet the woman he loved.

"We try to come, Dad. Hopefully Rahma doesn't have any events so we can come to attend Christie's engagement." Frans did not dare to give a promise because Rahma had not given an answer.

"Mom why don't you come here, there's a problem?" ask Frans' father-in-law.

"He said, I'm more comfortable living in the village than here" Frans replied frankly.

"Maybe it's because Mom was born living there, so she's not comfortable in a new place." said Lord.

"It could be, Dad. Since he was here, he rarely went out of the house. Maybe he misses the atmosphere of the village." said Frans.

The Lord looked at the clock that was coiled in his hand. He had an appointment with a friend, to find a job. He planned to plant shares while working at his friend's place.

"Dad has an appointment with a friend in an hour. Dad says. Don't forget to tell Rahma for the show tonight!'' said Mr. Dewa while standing from his seat.

Frans stood up and took his father-in-law to the yard. When they reach the living room, they cross paths with Rahma who has just entered the house. Rahma happened to be out for vegetable shopping at a traveling vegetable merchant.

"Dad been here a long time?" rahma asked as she approached her father and kissed the back of his hand.

"It has. Look at you still sleeping. So I'm talking to your husband" replied Mr. Dewa while shuffling Rahma's hair because she missed her son.

"Where are you going now? How hasty."

"Dad has an appointment with a friend. Oh, ja. Later that night you come to the hotel 'XY' at eight. Your sister Christie's fiancee." said the Lord with a smile.

"Let's try to come, Dad. Yes, right, sister?" sahut Rahma cheerfully.

"Yes, anyways today Brother is not working. So today Brother will accompany you all day." said Frans.

" Okay then, I'll go first!" pamit Pak Dewa left the living room to his car parked in the yard.

"How about we buy clothes for tonight?'' frans bargain on the woman of his heart.

"Old clothes are still there. Don't be too wasteful, buy a little!" rahma replied.

"It's not wasteful, honey. Since we got married, I have never bought clothes for you. So it's time for you to buy whatever you want."

"Rahma wants to cook for lunch, sister. Look at the shopping!" rahma said while showing her groceries to her husband.

"It can be stored in the refrigerator first for tomorrow again. We had lunch outside while shopping. There is no rejection!" resolute Frans.
