Reaching Dreams
Chapter 63

"Rahma is the same, isn't it? Last night he left with all his clothes" Frans asked.

"No. He has never come here since he became an assistant professor. His flight time was so high that he could not go anywhere anymore. What's up?" sahut Vani's.

"He left the house without saying goodbye. Do you know where he is now?" ask Frans again.

Vani looks at the clock hanging on the wall.

"She had a teaching class this morning at half-eight, after which we had a class together at nine. Today her schedule is tight, until night maybe, because her lecturer is out of town. If you want to talk to him, you can wait in the lobby of the campus for about seven p.m., tonight" said Vani.

"Gue at breakfast, you're hungry!" continued.

"Yes, it's ok." Frans replied as he lifted his thumb and index finger to form the letter o.

Vani enjoys her breakfast in front of Frans, not forgetting she also offers him. Vani breakfast with a cup of fresh bread smeared with chocolate jam.

"If according to Lo, Rio and Rahma have any relationship?" frans asks after Vani starts biting on homemade sandwiches.

"Brother! They are like brothers. Protect and support each other. Why?" answer Vani with a full mouth.

Frans nodded his head at Vani's reply. He misunderstood both of them.

"Aren't they dating?" asked Frans with a frown.

"They're just drama in front of the kids, actually their main goal is to let nothing interfere. If we already have a pair, automatically there will be no opposite sex that will approach. More precisely, people will retreat if the person being targeted already has a partner." explained Vani while occasionally biting his breakfast until it runs out.

"Lo going to college now?" frans asked when he saw that Vani's breakfast was over.

"Gue later, wait for the guy I picked up," refused Vani reasoned that Frans was not hurt by his refusal.

"I'm also Lo it turns out!" jeered Frans with a smile.

"First Lo! Looks cool, cute face but not pinter looking for a partner." reply Vani grinned.

"It's pinter now!"

"Must!" answer Vani steady.

"Gue unplug first, thank you!" frans said while leaving Vani's boarding house.

Flashback Off

After finishing teaching, Rahma was about to have lunch at a cafe not far from campus. Actually he wanted to eat cheap but he wanted to eat something different today. He walked alone to the cafe.

When going across Rahma did not see the left right, she immediately sauntered. Without him knowing anyone was shouting to call his name.

Arriving in front of the cafe, Rahma immediately entered and chose an empty seat. This afternoon the cafe is very crowded because it coincides with lunch hour.

"Alone, Son?" greet a middle-aged man to Rahma.

Rahma raised her head to look at the person who had greeted her. He saw the radiant face of his father's old version.

"Godfather? Yes, Sir. Me alone, father?" sahut Rahma reflex once realized the person in front of her was the one who last night had helped her.

"I myself, I happened to see you earlier. There is no harm in having lunch here. Can you sit here?" said mr. Dewa.

"Please, Sir!" rahma replied with a friendly smile.

The Lord sat down in front of Rahma. Since last night, the mind of the Lord has always been on Rahma. He felt like he knew her close, when he remembered that they had just met.

While waiting for their order to come they also chatted without any awkward feeling like a child with his father.

"Rahma's working?" ask the Lord.

"Alhamdulillah, already. Although only half the time, the important thing is halal and can increase the allowance." Rahma replied with a radiant face, Rahma did not know why she was suddenly so happy when she met the Lord.

"Still in college?"

"Still, Sir. I am only in the fifth semester" said Rahma.

"Well, great are you. College while working. Rarely are college kids now while working." praise God sir.

"Not really, sir. On our campus there are many students who work while studying," replied Rahma modestly.

When they are busy chatting while eating, without them realizing there is someone eavesdropping on their conversation.
