Reaching Dreams

Reaching Dreams
Chapter 61

"Ohhhhh!" rahma Jeers.

Rahma closed her eyes while screaming hysterically as a luxury car at high speed approached her.

The car stops right attached to Rahma's body but does not have time to push the tiny body. The car that a middle-aged man was driving stopped at just the right time. So that Rahma can survive.

"Are you okay, son?" ask the driver.

Hearing a question from someone, Rahma's eyes slowly opened. Then Rahma's eyes swept around her. Breath is relieved to come out of Rahma's mouth and nose simultaneously.

"Alhamdulillah." said Rahma while rubbing da danya.

"Son, you're okay, aren't you?" asked the man again, there was a worried tone in his voice.

Rahma turned towards the voice of the person who asked her.

"I-yes, Sir. I'm okay," replied Rahma stammered with surprise and fear of the driver.

When you see the appearance of the father like a rich man, must be the owner of the car.

"Thank God it's okay. Where you going? The day has begun the night plus the rain that did not stop since last, are you not afraid on the streets alone?

"I'm going to find a boarding place, sir. The old boarding house cost too much for me, but it is also far from campus" Rahma replied while fixing the location of her backpack.

"Why not take a taxi or a taxi?" ask the man.

"I haven't found a taxi driver or taxi, sir. I'll wait at the front stop there" Rahma replied as she pointed towards the stop not far from where they were.

"What if you take you to your new boarding place? It seems less safe there. That's if you believe me," the man bargained.

"This father is very kind, may he be a helper angel not a life-seeking angel."

"I'm not going to mess around, I just feel sorry. Seeing a girl at night walking alone under the drizzling rain. You're not afraid?" said the middle-aged man.

Rahma finally nodded in agreement to the offer from the man. Then his belongings were put into the back seat, while Rahma was asked to sit in front.

How shocked Rahma was when the middle-aged man's face was clearly visible to her.

"Dad," he murmured softly but still heard by the man's ears.

"Dad?" asked the man with his eyebrows intertwined.

"Sorry, I have missed my father so much" replied Rahma grimly as she looked down.

"Is he really my father? I have to investigate. I hope he's my father."

"What's your name, son? How old are you now?" ask the man again.

"My name is Rahma, nineteen years old, sir," Rahma replied as she looked at the face that looked very much like her father.

"Hmm, what a name. Just call God sir not master," said the father who is usually called God.

Coincidentally yesterday Rahma had offered a boarding room near her campus, so that she could enter anytime. Pak Dewa drove Rahma up to the front road of the alley because Rahma's boarding passes into the alley that can only be passed by two-wheeled vehicles.

"Thank you, sir. With your help, I survived to my destination" Rahma said, thanking him before getting out of the car.

Rahma walked slowly to the boarding house because the road was slippery.

Frans is unaware that Rahma has left her home. After drinking Rahma's ginger water, she fell asleep.

At midnight Frans woke up because his throat was dry. He went down to get some water. When he passed Rahma's room he was surprised because the door did not close tightly.

Frans approached the room Rahma used to occupy after drinking. Frans who was curious came in and lit the light. How surprised he was not to find Rahma in the room.

Frans saw the HP that had been given to Rahma lying on the nightstand. Below the HP is a paper with the words 'thank you'. Frans then opened the wardrobe, empty. When going to close the closet, Frans accidentally saw a box that he knew. He took the box and opened it while sitting on the bed.

"He still keeps these things. Why did he leave her here? Does he know it's from me?"

"Aghhh!!! You idiot! You idiot! You fool, Frans!" frans Jerrit.
