Her afternoon....
Rani calls Harlan to come to her office, before her assistant arrives.
"Me and Raline want to have lunch together, do you want to come?"
"No, Ma."
"Why?"
"I have an appointment with someone" replied Harlan.
"Oh, I almost forgot if you had a lover."
"Yes, Mom."
"What if you and your girlfriend had lunch with me?"
Harlan was silent and thought.
"You don't want to, do you?"
"It's not so, Mom."
"I knew Tiara when she was Mr. Robby's secretary. I want to talk to him. But, if you don't want to because there's Raline. It doesn't matter either."
"Bu Rani is like never young, I want to freely chat with her."
"Yes, I understand. Raline's boyfriend wants me to have lunch together, not even with me."
"Bagas will be his future daughter-in-law mother" said Harlan.
"How long have you been working with me?"
"Eleven years, Mom."
"Did your parents know me?"
"Yes, Mom."
"Among the employees, who worked here the longest?"
"I, Mum."
"Then your relationship with my children, how?"
"Like his own nephews and brothers."
"Why don't you introduce your lover to me who will also be my future daughter-in-law?"
Harlan was unable to answer.
"I won't force you, you can go back to your room" Rani said.
Ten minutes after Harlan came out of his room, Rani rushed to his office parking lot.
Rani does not reprimand Harlan who is also in the parking lot.
Rani will have lunch with her three children and her boyfriend Raline.
Arriving at the restaurant, the mother and son hugged each other.
"The mother wanted to take Harlan and her lover to lunch with us, but she refused" Rani said.
"It's good that he rejects it" said Varrel.
The people at the dining table with Varrel set their eyes on him.
Varrel looked towards the four. "Is there something wrong with my words?"
"From your tone, it doesn't seem to like Harlan" Rani said.
"Mommy's feeling alone" Varrel said.
"Maybe," Rani agreed.
"Don't tell him, we better order food and talk about everything else" Varrel said.
"Yes, son." Rani smiled thinly.
Fifteen minutes later, the order they ordered arrived. Enjoy the dish with occasional talking.
"Sean, you go home with Raline and Bagas, yes!" rani's orders gently.
"Yes, Mom."
"Mom wants to talk to Varrel" said Rani.
Sean said again.
Varrel looked at his watch, "Still, Mom."
After lunch, Sean, Raline and her boyfriend leave.
Varrel and his mother now live.
"There's something I want to ask you, Rel."
"Ask what, Mom?"
"Did Raline tell you so much?"
"We often chatted not only with Raline but with my other sister as well."
"Did Raline ever tell you about her heart?"
"Heart?" Varrel knitted his brows.
"Yes, maybe he told me who the guy he likes is."
"Once, Mom."
"Who is he?"
"Mother don't scold Raline or her."
"Mother promise!"
"He's Om Harlan."
"When did he always tell you about Harlan?"
"When High School."
Rani took her breath.
"Om Harlan never liked Raline and Kak Bagas was just a breakout of her heart. I wish the man with Raline right now could make my sister forget her."
"Yes, I hope."
-
Rani arrives earlier at the office than Harlan while the other employees have also been at their respective desks.
"Tell Harlan to my room!" Rani gave orders to her subordinates.
"Good, Mom."
Rani does her job, 20 minutes later the door is knocked.
"Please enter!"
The door opens, "Come, Mom!" sapana.
"Sit down!" her word.
Harlan followed the orders of his superiors.
"Didn't you see the clock on your phone or on your hand?" Rani quips.
Harlan slightly lowered his head.
"When your lunch passes twenty minutes, want your pay cut?"
"No, Ma."
"You've been working here for a long time, but don't follow the rules of the office" Rani said without looking.
"Sorry, Mom."
"Do you prefer your lover to work?" ask her in a cold tone.
Harlan.
"Professional, Lan!"
"Once again apologize, ma'am."
"This is your last warning!" threaten Rani's.
"Yes, Mom. I promise I won't do it again."
"Next week Raline and I are going to Paris to find a school for her. All our holidays, I hope you do not violate the freedom I give."
"I'll do a good job, ma'am." Harlan's Promise.
"I want to marry Raline to Bagas. Do you agree?"
