Pursued by the Love of Princess Overseas
Chapter 12

Upon arriving home, Shireen was already at the door. Yes, she knows the news of the princess continued the accident from her husband.

Surely Alka knew from Harlan who delivered Raline's motor.

"Mama and Dad have forbidden you not to ride a motorcycle, so it's like this!" there was regret in Shireen's heart.

"Sorry, Ma."

"You know from Harlan, for sure" Rani guessed.

"Yes, Brother."

"So I also advised Raline, she refused to be escorted and picked up Harlan again" explained Rani.

"So, who's taking you?" ask Shireen.

"There's public transport, Ma."

"Alright, if you want to take public transportation," said Shireen.

"I'm going back to the office, Ren."

"Oh, yes Brother. Thank you for delivering Raline" Shireen said.

"He's also my responsibility, Ren."

"Yes, Brother."

"Sir, yes!" staring daughter.

"Yes, Mom. Be careful!"

Rani steps into her car and passes.

Before long Raline arrived home, Alka also came home. Yeah, because he's so worried about his daughter.

Upon hearing the news about Raline, Alka immediately contacted his wife and she rushed back home.

"Father has forbidden you but still violates it" Alka said.

"Sorry, Dad."

"From tomorrow, I'll take you to pick you up" Alka said.

"No, Dad. Later Dad tired on the road if you have to deliver me and my sisters," Raline refused.

"How else? I don't want you to get hurt, son."

"Dad, I'm an adult. Don't worry, I can take public transportation." Raline explained as she embraced Alka's hand.

"Why don't you want to be escorted by Harlan again?" ask Alka.

"I don't want to, Dad."

"Is Harlan rude to you?" Alka asked again.

"No, Dad."

"Then?"

"I just want to be independent, Om Harlan always accompanied me what was wrong I wanted to be free without him," explained Raline lying.

"Raline, right Mas. He's grown up and needs a private space" Shireen chimed in.

"Do you like someone so you don't want them to be jealous?" ask Alka.

Raline shook her head.

"If you like someone, tell me." Alka said softly.

"Yes, Dad."

"Yes, clean yourself up. I'd like to pick up your sisters, "he said.

Raline nodded.

A few days later....

Raline proved her words if she was able to live independently. Yes, she wanted to stay away from Harlan because the man had absolutely no feelings for her.

Raline stood at the stop, waiting for the bus that passed through her campus earlier she hitchhiked a Varrel motorbike to the place.

Almost 15 minutes waiting, the bus with the destination never came.

Once there, it was full of passengers. Raline had to be patient again.

A car stopped right in front of him, the glass window down looking a man smiling at him. "Need a ride?" ask her out loud.

Raline looked to her right and left but there was no one. He then turned his gaze to the man, "You asked me?"

"Yes, Raline!"

"You recognize me?"

"Surely," the man opened his glasses.

Raline realized that the man had helped her.

"Hurry in!" bring him.

Raline got into the car because she was almost too late.

"Where are you going?" ask Bagas while driving.

"I'm going to college" Raline replied.

"Where's your college?" ask Bagas again.

Raline told me the address of the campus.

"I will take you, we happen to be one way" said Bagas.

Along the way to campus, Raline kept quiet even though the man next to her stole a glance at her.

"Have your wounds healed?" Bagas mince words to eliminate awkwardness between the two.

"It's already starting to dry."

"Surely you're traumatized riding a motorcycle, huh?"

"Not traumatized, only parents are forbidden!"

"Oh, so."

Bagas' phone rang asking Raline for permission to answer.

Raline assented.

"Later I'll pick you up!" Bagas then hung up.

"Who?" ask Raline.

"My son."

"What age?"

"Three years."

"It must be very funny" Raline said.

"Yes." Yeah."

"You've been married a long time?"

"Your wife must be very pretty" Raline guessed.

"Yes, she's very pretty. I love him so much but it's over" said Bagas.

"meaning? You divorced?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Sorry!" Raline said softly.

"It's okay," Bagas forced a smile.

Arriving at the campus Bagas asked for Raline's mobile number and he gave it.

-

Towards noon, Harlan suddenly appeared before Raline who was waiting for her father's invitation.

"Why did Om pick me up?"

"Because your father asked for it."

"Where did dad go?"

"Say more customers, I happen to not be busy so I pick you up," replied Harlan.

"Better Om Harlan back to the office, I can take the bus."

"Raline, get on the bike!"

"No, Om!" reject it.

"I'm tired of coming here to pick you up and be told to go home" Harlan said.

"I didn't ask Om Harlan to pick me up" Raline didn't want to lose.

"Raline, I said hurry up!" her word.

"No!" Raline went in different directions.

Harlan sighed, then went down and chased Raline. "Don't be a kid!" he said with a cold tone.

Raline turned her body. "I told you, don't want to be escorted or picked up by Om anymore. Why are you still going to tell mom and dad?"

"I don't want to get fired" replied Harlan.

"I'll tell them they won't fire Om!"

"Well, then I'll go back to the office!" Harlan turned around to take the bike.

Raline looked at Harlan's back, "She really did!" his gerrick.

"Call why, Om?" Raline hoped.

Slowly Harlan's motorbike leaves Raline's campus while the girl clucked in annoyance.

Not wanting to linger in that place, Raline chose to cross the road. Yeah, he'll try to walk to his house.

Harlan who noticed Raline from her rearview mirror stopped her vehicle. "Where is he going?" muttered.

Harlan finally turned back the direction following the girl's footsteps.

Raline walked quickly. Because he felt someone was following him.

Just 1 kilometer walk, Raline felt exhausted finally he chose to sit on the bench that had been provided along the road through.

Harlan stopped right where Raline was sitting. "Let me drive home!"

Raline threw away her face.

"Alshe's not like you!" her allusion.

"But, he hit Om right away!"

Harlan laughed a little.

"Go, Om!" banish him.

"I don't want to, before I go home with you!"

"Don't mind me, Om!"

"Who cares about you? I'm just following orders from your mother!"

Raline stood up and continued on her way.

"Raline, come. I'm late for lunch!"

The girl doesn't care.

"How about I buy you lunch?" Harlan.

Raline stopped her steps and turned to look towards Harlan. "Om taking me out to eat?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"I want to!" Raline looked excited.

"Yes, hurry!"

Raline excitedly got on the bike.

Harlan drove his vehicle to a dining area that was not too spacious but quite clean and comfortable.

Arriving at his destination, Harlan said, "We don't eat together, there's my friend no problem, right?"

Raline shook her head.

Harlan then walked to the table where there was a young woman along with a boy.

Raline looked surprised at the female friend Harlan said.

"Raline, introduce her Tiara!"

Tiara stretched out her hand and Raline grabbed him both of them throwing smiles at each other just as Raline smiled thinly.

"Let's sit!" Harlan.

The girl followed his orders.

"Please order the food!" Harlan told the two women of different ages.

Tiara and Raline order food to the waiter as well as Harlan.

Raline sees Harlan so familiar with Riko. "Who is this woman really?" inner asked.

Tiara was always laughing watching the child and Harlan were joking with each other.

Raline was getting curious and wanted to ask. However, he paused because again the food has been served and ready to eat.

"Oh, yes Raline. I forgot to introduce him to you," Harlan said.

"Aren't we already acquainted, Lan?" Tiara reminded.

"Yes, but I want him to know about our relationship" Harlan replied.

"relationship? What's that supposed?" The question kept dancing in Raline's head.

"This is my girlfriend" replied Harlan.

As soon as Raline's world collapsed, her heart ached. But he tried to keep smiling.
