Three weeks later.....
Raline and Bagas' relationship is getting closer and closer. The man was also introduced to his family.
Alka and Shireen did not dispute the status of Bagas who was a widower with 1 son. For them, if Raline was happy and the man loved their daughter it was enough to calm them both down.
This afternoon, Raline invited Bagas to meet with Rani. They made an appointment at a cafe.
"So, he's the guy you said back then?" rani asked Raline.
"Yes, Mom."
His gaze turned to Bagas, "Are you serious about my daughter?"
"I'm serious, Auntie."
"Does your son agree with your relationship?"
"She was very happy to have a future mother like Raline," Bagas replied glancing at the girl beside him.
Rani pulled both ends of her lips.
"Thank you" Raline smiled.
"Raline has to continue her studies abroad, you don't have a problem, do you?" ask Rani.
"I support Raline's decision to continue her schooling there" Bagas replied.
"You can't meet for a year" Rani said.
"No problem, Auntie. I can visit him there" Bagas said.
"You're seriously in a relationship with Bagas, son?"
"Yes, Mom."
"Mother bless you," said Rani.
"Thank you, Auntie." Bagas looked so happy.
Raline smiled faintly watching the face of Sumringah Bagas.
"Let's eat!" Rani invites Raline and Bagas.
"Since when have you liked Raline?"
"Since we met on the street, Auntie."
"My daughter is spoiled, you have to be patient with it" said Rani.
"Mother...."
"He should know, son. In order not to be surprised later, he just knew you differently from Harlan who already understood," said Rani.
"Why do I have to carry her name, Mom?" Raline protests.
"Because Harlan is not our family but knows all about you" Rani said.
"Did Harlan have known Raline's family for a long time?"
"More than nine years ago, Harlan had considered Raline like her own niece" Rani said.
"But I don't, Mom!" inner Raline.
"That means they are very familiar" Bagas said.
"Yes, every day we meet and Harlan always takes Raline and picks her up" Rani said.
Raline just kept quiet, listening to her mother and Bagas telling her about herself with Harlan.
"I think they have a special relationship" Bagas said.
"Yes, no. Harlan did not like Raline, they were like brothers already" Rani said as she glanced at her daughter.
"I'm happy if Harlan and Raline don't have a relationship" Bagas said.
Rani smiled then asked again, "Did you know Harlan before?"
"Not close because he's a friend of my ex-wife Tiara" Bagas replied.
"Tiara?" Rani tried to remember the name. "Prince Robby's secretary?" guessed it.
"Yes, Auntie."
"Oh, so Harlan is still in touch with Tiara. Isn't he the reason you split up?" Rani probing.
"No, Aunt. There were other men who made our household a mess" Bagas said.
"Why does his story look like I left Mas Alka for another man?" batin Rani asked.
"But, Om Harlan told me that Bagas' ex-wife was his girlfriend" Raline spoke.
Rani pulls a knotty smile. "Harlan has always liked Tiara."
Raline was silent when she heard that.
"But, I'm happy if Harlan's love is reciprocated" said Rani.
"Do you know that your daughter's love is unrequited?" Raline.
"It looks like Harlan was hoping for more with Tiara, Auntie."
"Why is that?" Rani looked curious.
"Harlan was not the type of man Tiara liked" Bagas said.
"Then what kind of man does your ex-wife like?"
"Great wealth, always pamper him and have time for him" replied Bagas.
"Why are all the traits that Tiara possesses exactly me?" asked in his heart.
"So, is this why she refused to meet you?" Rani asked her daughter.
"Maybe, Mum."
"Mother will remind him" promised Rani.

Rani goes back to her office, and she calls Harlan to her room.
"Yes, Mom. What's up?"
"Are you not busy?"
"No, Ma."
"Can we talk for a minute?"
"Can, Mom."
"Sit down!" Let that man go.
Harlan sat down and faced each other.
"Are you currently in a relationship with Tiara?"
Harlan looked surprised.
"I know from Raline and her lover."
"Raline and her boyfriend?" inner Harlan.
"Your love for Tiara has never changed, yes." Rani.
"Yes, that's how it is."
"I hope you choose the woman who truly loves you, Lan."
"Did Ms Rani know that her daughter liked me?" Harlan asked inwardly.
"You've been working here for a long time and I want all the employees who are with me to be happy to be included in the love affair" said Rani.
"Thank you, Mom. But, I am indeed serious about Tiara."
"I believe in the seriousness of you to be single until now," Rani mentioned again.
Harlan just laughed.
"Lan, he said the cause of Tiara and her husband separated because of the affair he did," said Rani.
"They're not wrong, ma'am. Her ex-husband had an affair and committed violence" Harlan said.
"Lan, I parted ways with Raline's father because of the carelessness and greed that I did" Rani said.
"I betrayed a marriage that has been running for seven years, after parting am I happy? It turned out that only a while after that was very painful."
"But I am grateful that Shireen became a much better wife and surrogate mother than me who loved Mas Alka and the children."
"I separated for the second time because I was tired of our marriage and tempted by another man who was much richer. I have to make mistakes again."
"So, I expect you to rethink if you want to propose to that woman."
"Bu Rani thinks that Tiara is like that?"
Rani assented.
"Bu Rani take it easy, I know what a future wife looks like," Harlan looked offended Tiara judged badly.
"Yes, I understand you love Tiara so much."
Harlan smiled faintly.
"I want you to be happy."
"Thank you for the attention, Mom."
Rani smiled just like him, not wanting Harlan to be more upset with his advice finally Rani told her assistant to return to work.

This morning Shireen suddenly invited Rani to meet by chance she was no longer busy.
The two met at a cafe not far from Rani's office.
"What would you like to meet me like this all of a sudden?" ask Rani.
"I want to talk about Raline, brother."
"Why Raline?"
"Did he invite Bagas to meet with Rani?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Actually Raline doesn't love Bagas, Brother."
"You're saying Raline doesn't love Bagas but why would she admit that he's her lover?" Rani was astonished and curious.
"Raline just wants to try to stay away from someone she likes, sister."
"You mean Raline fell in love with another man but got a rejection from him?"
"Yes, Brother.
"Anybody Raline likes?" ask Rani.
"Harlan's assistant Rani."
