After breakfast with healer Bao came out accompanied by uncle Tao to look for herbs that would be used to neutralize the toxins in the bodies of Xiao Lan, uncle Tae, uncle Tao and aunt Fu. While Xiao Lan, Uncle Tae and Aunt Fu were planting aloe vera around their yard. Actually aunt Fu and uncle Tae are confused why Xiao Lan really wanted to plant aloe vera when aloe vera was no function at all according to them because the inside of aloe vera is slimy and smells the less delicious so rarely even no one uses aloe vera in this era.
Xiao Lan wiped her sweat using hanfu. He stared contentedly at the hut yard which was now planted with aloe vera neatly, if he needed it he just took it without having to look for it. Actually he also wanted to plant flowers but he paled because he was afraid that this hut would be too flashy and inviting attention because of its location in the middle of the demon forest.
Soon Bao healers and Taoist uncles came carrying various herbs. Physician Bao asked everyone to sit inside because he was afraid that there would be spies of the empress lurking around them. He checked one by one the people who were there so that he could determine the right herbal content for all of them. He then mashed some herbs for Tao's uncle, Tae's uncle and Fu's aunt. As for Xiao Lan he added a few more herbs because Xiao Lan's body was already filled with poison. He asked them to drink the herbs one by one. Xiao Lan became the first to drink the herbs, though,
"I'm the weakest person here, if I get weaker you can kill him instantly" Xiao Lan said before finally taking the herbs in one gulp,
Physician Bao's heart ached hearing Xiao Lan's words as well as uncles and aunts who still did not believe her, but he understood them all. He then thrust out a few needles at the vital points of Xiao Lan's body. He used acupuncture to help speed up the neutralization of the poison that was in Xiao Lan's body.
"Huekk huekk" Xiao Lan spewed out a blackish-colored blood that smelled very unpleasant, he held his body in order to remain conscious and not fall down but it was in vain. He felt that his body was so weak, healer Bao returned to concoct herbs for Xiao Lan. He helped put the herb into Xiao Lan's mouth and removed the needle he had already stuck. After a few minutes, Xiao Lan regained consciousness and felt that her body was lighter and fresher than before. Xiao Lan looked at her uncle and aunt, she nodded her head.
"My body feels fresher" said Uncle Tao,
"Yes, I've already removed some of the poison in your body. There is still residual poison in your body but I will treat it in two days because if I treat you tomorrow it will not be good for your body in the future, if it is too forceful to remove toxins from the body it will damage some of your organs" explained physician Bao,
"Alright we understand" Xiao Lan said,
"You also should not do heavy work for the next two days, if only cooking and cleaning the house is not an important problem you do not get too tired so that the treatment can be faster"
The person he was talking to was just nodding his head.
"Bao gege, I want to study herbs with you"
