Patok Tumbal Village

Patok Tumbal Village
CHAPTER 27 THE SOUL

Budi slowly retreated from his place, he did not even know at all that there was a trap attached behind the tree root that he had stepped on.

Srek......

Budi stepped on the rope, and finally he also hung like a pig chasing him earlier. His head hit quite hard on the tree, making himself dizzy.

Not long after he was dragged up, he was finally unconscious due to the impact earlier. In an unconscious situation, a man wearing black clothes walked towards Budi, he carried a machete in his right hand.

A few minutes later, Budi finally regained consciousness even though he was still a little dizzy. His body was also still hanging on the trunk of the tree, occasionally he moved his body so that the rope was broken. But it's all useless, because the rope that binds it is very strong.

"Ah, what the hell try!" Desperate to be in pain. "This is who put it anyway?, how to go down, no one can help you again!!" Upset trying to escape the trap.

The man in black who had walked over to him while in a state of unconsciousness, suddenly reappeared after leaving Budi for a while. Budi who saw the arrival of the man, of course, was very happy, because he considered that the man could help him regardless of the trap.

The man's face was covered by the shadow of the trees, so Budi could not see his face clearly. Budi did not care if he had met that person before, all he thought about now was asking the man for help.

Slowly the man approached, until it hit the light from between the trees. Budi tried to see clearly the man's face in reverse, after he was attentive well, apparently the man who was standing there was Mr. Tono.

Eagerly, Budi yelled out the name of Mr. Tono for help. There was no answer from Mr. Tono in the slightest, it made Budi again annoyed and shouted louder.

Mr. Tono continued to step closer to him, with a machete in his right hand. Budi was stunned to see the machete, but he tried to think positively, and considered that the machete was used to cut the rope that tied it.

"Sir please sir, my head is very dizzy because it goes back like this" said Budi asking for help.

Mr. Tono did not answer anything at all, other than lifting his machete up. Surprisingly, the atmosphere immediately became very creepy, almost in every place depends on the human body with a state of the stomach that has been split, to release its contents.

"What am I seeing right now?, sir, this is just my illusion, right?" Ask Budi in a trembling voice. "Reply sir!!, why didn't you say anything!, don't scare my nakut!" Been Upset.

"Stupid, you yourself are digging your grave" Saut pak Tono, made Budi instantly speechless with a frightened and confused facial expression.

"What do you mean father?, sir, please release me sir-" said Budi begging half to die.

Mr. Tono catapulted his machete into Budi's body, making his stocky body just damaged. His blood was flowing, his organs were coming out. Seeing Budi who has no life anymore, immediately made Pak Tono change his true form.

Alia had not had time to ask the meaning of Kaila's words, Kaila immediately disappeared somewhere. Alia looked at the surroundings, the day was getting darker, the wind was blowing even louder adding to the atmosphere becoming more terrifying.

Alia was silent for a while, until she finally realized that now she had to head to the village to see the situation there. Alia continued to run with all her might even though she had no illumination at all.

On the way, he saw a light shining down the road, he narrowed his eyes and looked carefully at the light. It turned out that the light came from the torch which was under by Fitri, Awal, and two other citizens.

Alia ran towards Fitri and Awal, after which she told him everything she was going through at the moment. Alia was immediately surprised because no one noticed her, Alia tried to hold onto Fitri's shoulder, but the result was still the same.

Alia had no idea that she was in a different world from her two friends. His fear was mounting, he left Fitri, Awal, and the residents with an uncharacteristic mood. Her tears continued to flow soaking her white cheeks and hijab.

Because there was no lighting in the slightest, making Alia had fallen and get wounds on her elbows and knees. The wound didn't make him stop and surrender just like that, he got back up and ran towards the village.

He was very worried about Ulan right now. When he arrived at the village, his hopes were shaken again. The village that was still fine, and the residents who had been gathered together to shout the traditional ceremony, suddenly turned into a pile of charred black inanimate objects.

A smell so fishy stung Alia's nose, with a limp leg she kept running to find Ulan. "Ulan, where are you" he cried in a voice that shook with fear. With sobbing, and a mental that was almost broken, he was still worried about his own best friend.

His eyes were fixed on a plate of meat and cake filled with maggots. He finally realized, and thought whether the food he consumed so far was something that was not unusual anymore to consume.

Alia could not resist her nausea and disgust anymore, until she finally vomited all the food in her stomach. He slowly walked to the well not far from him. Alia did not know, that there was someone down there who she was looking for.

Alia again tried to face her fear, and went back to look for Ulan. Almost half an hour he searched, but Alia found no sign of Ulan.

A memory flashed through his mind. Ulan said before Alia went to meet Kaila. Ulan advised that, if something happens to him later, then at least Alia should block Fitri and Awal to the top, whatever the way.

Alia finally came back again running after Fitri and Awal, although her knee was very sore. He knew that everything must have reached the top, but Alia did not want to give up because it could have been not too late.

Elsewhere, Jamal walks through a dark forest. No one is chasing him or following him. Dirga who had been with him had fallen into the abyss before Jamal had time to help him. Why did Jamal choose to leave Dirga who was likely still not dead down there, because the figures who were chasing them had gathered below along with Dirga's body.

Of course Jamal was very afraid to approach him. With guilt, Jamal decides to find the other friends to take them out of the village.

From the beginning Jamal was already very suspicious of the village turi, but because he did not want to make his friends afraid or anxious, so he decided to just stay quiet and find out the truth.
