CHAPTER 23 THE HORRIBLE FIGURE

Fitri and Ulan nodded, and then went back to cleaning the meat.

The one who saw the man for the first time was Dirga, because he felt something was wrong, he finally told Jamal. Jamal, who was confused, approached Dirga, and looked ahead.

He frowned, and stared solemnly at the man. I don't know why the atmosphere suddenly turned tense. The wind blew hard making the trees around like they were singing.

Finally they realized that something was wrong, they only turned their eyes away briefly from the mysterious man, but in an instant the man disappeared somewhere.

Jamal and Dirga looked around him, a hand holding the shoulders of Dirga and Jamal. Slowly turning around, with their hearts pounding, and sweat beginning to blanket their ankles, Jamal and Dirga saw something they never imagined at all.

The man they had just seen was something they could no longer recognize. His entire body was charred in flames, and a pungent smell like the smell they smelled last night in the village of Turi came out from his body. Such was the figure they saw at the moment, slowly they both moved both of their legs to move away from the figure.

The figure did not move, and remained standing in place.

"I thought something was wrong in this village" Dirga concluded.

"True, isn't this very similar to last night's events. It is very unlikely that we just continue to hallucinate, let alone our hallucinations are always together." Jamal.

"Then, let's get out of here. I might go crazy from seeing this scene" Saut Dirga with a trembling body said.

When Dirga and Jamal turned around, suddenly the figure was again in front of them. Their number had even increased to five, a figure that was like forcing them to go away from the village. Dirga became shocked to see there were many creepy humans in front of him. He ran into the forest, and so did Jamal who tried to chase after him to calm Dirga's mind.

Along the way that Dirga passed, the figure was always in various places while looking at him. Dirga's mind became unreasonable, the only thing he thought right now was how to get out of the situation he was in with Jamal.

"What are you guys!?, don't follow me!!" Shouted Dirga who was very frightened.

"Dirga!!" Shouted Jamal trying to stop Dirga "Stop Dirga!!, did not Rudi ever tell us that in front there is only a ravine!!" Panic Jamal.

Jamal did not listen at all to Jamal's cry, and instead accelerated his pace. The figure he saw right now was indeed very creepy, how could such a large human being be charred, their eyes were all gone, their intestines were out, as well as maggots gnawing at their bodies.
