Not as Powerful as It Seems

Eyebrows kept running towards the school rooftop. He wanted to find a quiet place to shed his anger, sadness, disappointment and hatred. Eyebrows crying so much, even his swollen eyes seem more swollen. Even the pain in his eyes was not heeded. He felt weak at this moment, very weak. Eyebrows sitting on the floor with a disheveled face even he was no longer concerned with his class.

Eyebrows hit his chest repeatedly to ward off the tightness. It hurts! it was really a pain that, when he reappeared at this very moment. It hurts! when Eyebrow sees a person who has taken happiness in his life.

Eyebrows clenched his hands and by moving without rules, he smacked his hands repeatedly on the rooptof floor tightly. To make his hand numb and torn, but he did not care. The splattered blood slowly flowed into his hand.

The past is back to shadowing him, completely overshadowing him. Eyebrows who always believed in Ifa, even he loved her very much like a brother. But what he got, betrayal, destruction, humiliation even the hatred of his parents on him.

Flashbacks

It all started with Alifa who invited him to take a walk with her on holiday. As usual, Alis will always play together with Alifa because indeed only Alifa is the only friend he has. He never had any suspicions about his friend. It was still morning.

Eyebrows were shocked when they found the person lying on the side of the road with his body full of blood. The frightened eyebrows also inched back. He stared around him which was overgrown with teak wood, he was getting scared because he felt there was a wild beast.

However, his fear was replaced with pity, as the man reached his hand at Eyebrows. Eyebrows approached him, he was surprised by the condition of the man who was full of incision wounds. Even the dagger was still stuck in his stomach.

The pitying eyebrows immediately helped the 40-year-old man. Eyebrows pulled out the knife and tore off his long shirt to cover the wound. But unfortunately, there was a car passing by, containing several people. Those who passed by stopped the car. They were very surprised to see the sight, with bloodied hands of Eyebrows coupled with him still holding the knife. Without asking a single question first, instead accusing him of doing all that.

The eyebrows are cornered in self-defense, but free. Because there was only him and the victim at the scene. Until Alifa came, Alis was happy that she would be helped. He asked Alifa that she justify the rebuttal spoken by Alis. But what? his assumption missed, Alifa firmly stated that Alis was the culprit, even he was willing to be a witness. Alifa vilely accused him and slandered him. In fact, he also released a video recording showing Eyebrows pulling knives from the victim's body.

Alis felt very confused at that time because it was accused of being a murderer at that time, with the evidence in the hands of Alifa. Until the Eyebrows were completely powerless over all of it. The only hope of Eyebrows, is to ask for justification from the victim. However, it was as if reality and the universe conspired to bring him down. The victim died after 10 minutes, he arrived at the hospital.

The world of Eyebrows was crumbling, even his father who believed in him the most hated him and drove him out of his life. Eyebrows really feel isolated with the number of people who call him a killer. It is not uncommon for them to berate him. At that time, he was just 10 years old.

Al who had just arrived at the rooftop stared in disbelief at what he saw. He rushed to Alis who was sitting helplessly. It's so fragile. Al pulled the hand of the blood-soaked Eyebrow so that it would stop hurting itself.

"Who's the new girl? And why is Eyebrow so emotional when you see it?" Mumbled Al while lifting the body Eyebrow ala bridal style. His mind was never separated from the new girl he had seen this morning. Al will try to find out through his friends.

Al recalled the beginning when Alis came down from the car. He was intentionally watching her. Nothing, everything goes like the usual circumstances. Even Alis also read his book while walking.

But what made Al surprised was that when Alis saw the new student, she suddenly saw the Eyebrow that looked very emotional, her calm nature was gone already. "Gosh, Al! Why eyebrows? Why did it get like this?" Andra closed her mouth in surprise to see the faint-looking Eyebrow in Al's sling. Even his hands seemed to be filled with blood that seemed to still flow. Some blood spots until there are attached to Al.

The bell rang 5 minutes ago, so the hallway of the school looked silent.

"You classies, about Eyebrows let that be my business. Please allow me to the incoming teacher" said Al, who appeared to be half-run towards the UKS.

"Allis?" Angga muttered half in disbelief at what he saw. He got his turn in the UKS room for today.

Some of his colleagues who also served in the UKS room, immediately gave his help to Alis.

"Al, we'd better get our eyebrows to the hospital. It's pretty bad. He needs more handling, to check the state of his hands. Fear of bone fractures." Angga who had just finished cleaning the wound of Eyebrow, immediately came out to Al who was still waiting for the Eyebrow.

"No, let me take him. I can explain it to the doctor about what happened to Eyebrows." Al looked at Angga intimidatingly. He recalled the time Angga who invited Alis to go home from school at that time.

"I know Eyebrows better than you!" Angga looked at Al sharply and his voice sounded like a hiss. He pointed right at Al.

Al smiled obliquely and left Angga alone, his hands clenched tightly at Angga's words. As much as he could, he suppressed his anger.

"Sorry, he should be referred to the hospital immediately. It seems like the situation is quite alarming." Said one who was in the UKS room while staring at Al and Angga.

Al and Angga looked at each other inside.

"It's not the time to argue about who deserves to take him, but about his condition." Ani said Al and Angga were intimidating each other.
