21. The Demand of Ma'af An Angga

Angga stared at Alis who looked very stiff as he sat beside her. Angga drove his car calmly despite the thousands of thoughts raging in his mind. He turned his car towards the LK cafe.

Eyebrows just stand still and stare at the streets, no matter what Angga will talk about and about what, Eyebrows can not guess. His mind seemed to be raging.

Rushing Angga opened the car door for Eyebrow. While Alis was still silently staring at Angga who was acting strangely according to Alis. Usually Angga always pinched it, but this time it was different. It feels sweeter, but the Eyebrows don't know what this all means.

Angga looked astonished at the attitude they had on Eyebrows. But he tried to cover it up. Angga did not know about the ownership of this cafe.

"Lis, what message?" Ask Angga when they have occupied the chair in this cafe. Meanwhile, waiters were already standing by waiting to record their orders.

"Mallet juice." Replied Alis while staring at the cafe manager who was also staring at Alis with a confused look. But Anto seemed to nod his head as a sign of his sweep.

Waiter recorded their order, he passed after greeting Alis politely first and only replied to Alis with a nod.

"Lis, how are you?" Ask Angga who is making small talk.

Eyebrows looked at Angga in surprise but he answered.

"As you can see, everything is good." Reply to Alis while staring at Angga. He tried to

reading the face of Angga, but completely illegible.

"Something that looks good from the outside is not necessarily good inside either." Angga stared at the Eyebrows.

Eyebrows seemed to flinch at the words Angga meant for whom.

"There's actually something else I want to tell you." Said Angga again who understood the confusion of Eyebrows.

Eyebrows just silent and staring at Angga, he awaits the next words that come out of Angga's mouth.

"I want to talk about Jessica and all at once about my ma'af request to you." Angga paused his words as the waiter came. He thanked the waiter, as well as the Eyebrows. Angga looked back at Alis who was also staring at him and seemed to be waiting to speak.

Eyebrows remained silent to hear the continuation of the conversation Angga was felt to sound incomplete.

"Thank you for forgiving Jessica's mistake. Actually Jessica is good but because she is an only child so she was spoiled by both parents since childhood. And whatever his request was always fulfilled by his parents. Therefore he did not like defeat and took everyone for granted." Angga said at length.

"Even you still forgive him even if he does not ask for it directly. Moreover, his attitude towards you has also been outrageous and often disrespectful to you. Rough might be more exact." Said Angga later.

Eyebrows nodded his head and still looked at Angga calmly. He felt very familiar with Jessica's situation, but for him even though he had been given ma'af but the punishment will continue. In addition to giving a deterrent effect for violators also to enforce the rules in their schools.

"Then?" ask Alis later.

"About your broken bike, I can replace it with a new bike." Angga.

"No need." Reply to Eyebrow while smiling stiffly.

"But, that's your means of transportation for school right?" Ask Angga later. It felt like he did not want to get the rejection from Eyebrows.

"I can take other means of transportation, the bus for example." Said the Eyebrow that always looked calm.

"Okay then."Pause for a moment, Angga seemed to catch his breath. "I'm asking you to forgive." Angga said solemnly while looking deeply into Eyebrow's eyes.

Eyebrows scrunched his forehead, he did not understand the direction of Angga's conversation, Alis sipped his juice and looked back at Angga.

Angga looked at Alis who was just silent. "Over this time, I've always suspected you of being dangerous." Angga said while pausing his sentence. He was looking forward to the Eyebrow reaction, but there was no change at all other than a flat view.

"It turns out all my suspicions are wrong, you're not like my shadow. I continue to be haunted by guilt for thinking too negatively about you. Therefore, I'm here to personally ask you for an apology." Clearly Angga was at length while staring at Alis with his guilty gaze.

Eyebrows nodded his head and still looked at Angga calmly. He understood with the words Angga just now. Even before the incident about Jessica, she was considered a strange girl by them. So, he did not worry about it as long as it did not bother him.

His eyebrows took his breath for a moment. "It's okay. I've forgiven you." Answer Eyebrow briefly.

Angga seemed to gawk at the reply of Alis who seemed not to concern him. That easy! In fact, he also did not consider that it was a mistake but like a statement from a form of recognition.

Angga looked at Alis who sipped his juice. Beautiful, thought Angga. He gasped with thoughts passing through his head. Angga looked clumsy and sighed.

"So?" Ask Angga on Eyebrows after their inertia.

Eyebrows looked back at Angga and shook his head. He was amazed by this man in front of him, who spoke at length just to ask for ma'af.

"It doesn't matter and I forgave everything. So, there's no problem between us?" Ask Alis at the end of her sentence.

Angga nodded steadily while staring at Eyebrow. He thanked her. It turned out that Eyebrows had not been like his shadow all this time. He was so kind and forgiving behind his feet.

No more talking between them. They enjoyed the dishes in front of them.

"Alis, are you here?" Ask someone right next to Eyebrows. Eyebrows turned his face away, he saw the whereabouts of January as well as Riyan.

Eyebrow's face looked stiffened staring at Riyan's whereabouts. And all of that was never out of the sight of Angga.

"Sit down here." Angga said allowing the two to sit and gather with them. Angga is very familiar with January who is a believer of Eyebrows. He looked in wonder at Riyan.

Riyan who felt looked at like that, extended his hand to Angga to get acquainted. He looked questioningly at the existence of Angga who was first seen. Or indeed all this time he who does not know at all the circumstances of his sister.

"Lis, come home with me and Riyan. We're going to your house." Said January while waving his hand at the waiter.

Eyebrows just nodded his head, his mind seemed to be raging. He stared at the juice long enough that he did not realize the arrival of the waiter who placed the order of Riyan and January.

Eyebrows sighed, in fact he missed his brother a lot but he was not ready to hear the frightening news that would come out of Riyan's mouth. He's not ready to hear everything.

"You don't work Lis in this cafe?" Tanya January while patting Alis' shoulder softly.

The eyebrows seemed to gasp and look towards January. He shook his head.

"Tumben, usually always busy with ushering in visitor orders." Said January then while sipping his drink.

Angga seemed to frown at the words thrown by January. Eyebrows work as a cafe waitress, why can? Angga's mind returned to the scene but he remained silent while looking at their interaction.

In contrast to Riyan, he seemed to stare at the silent Eyebrow which was only silent and very stiff. His heart again ached to see the change of Eyebrows very far away. Riyan pressed down on his chest that looked aching, he stared at the decoration of this cafe that reminded him of their memories. Even now, Eyebrows still love paper kites. Even if those memories leave deep scars.

January cleared his throat several times due to feeling an awkward situation. He stared at Angga who looked at Alis.

"You're close friends?" Asked January while pointing towards Eyebrow and also Angga.

Angga looked towards January and smiled faintly. "Not really ka, it just so happens that something is talked about with Eyebrows."

"What business?" Ask back in January.

"Something." Angga answered while raising his eyebrows, as if he was flirting with January.

"Rusan love?" Tanya January returned because she was so curious.

Eyebrows just rolled his eyes lazily. He looked at January with his eyes shot.

"Review Lis, her eyes are about to come out, roll it!" Point January towards Eyebrows.

Angga and Riyan who heard that looked chuckled, different from Eyebrows. He looked so bored with this atmosphere.

Eyebrows pulled out his book from inside his bag. He did not care for the three men who looked at Eyebrow with a gawk.

"Bas on nerds!" Said January while staring at Eyebrow.

"Lis, you want to stay here." Said Riyan after their existence for quite a long time in the Eyebrow residence.

Eyebrows smiled thinly and nodded his head. Eyebrows were staring at Riyan with haru. She missed her brother so much, but she was afraid that she would reject him as her father rejected the truth. But his conjecture turned out to be wrong, even Riyan had no idea about any of it at all.

Riyan was so disappointed in his parents that his disappointment kept him from seeing them for years. This truth is only now known by the Eyebrows. Even the truth about the regrets of both their parents. And also their attempt to find Eyebrows.

Eyebrows dripping with tears, he spat out Riyan's embrace. Now Eyebrows don't feel lonely anymore. He already knew about this news. And he was so grateful that the truth was finally revealed as well.
