Immutability

The ringing of Al phones stopped their little debate.

"I picked up the phone first" Al said as he stood and walked away from their table leaving Alis and Rafael.

"Alis, aren't you thinking about my feelings at all?"

His brows turned to look towards Rafael. His eyes glanced for a moment at Al who was walking out of the cafe.

"Sorry, I can't choose you. Because my heart belongs entirely to Al. And I hope you understand about me." Eyebrows remained on his attitude.

"But, if one day you get into trouble in your relationship. I'll be ready to help you. Then come to me." Rafael is still trying to persuade Alis to change his resolve.

Eyebrow's gaze grew stiffer upon hearing Rafael's words just now. His eyes turned to look at Al who was still busy with his phone.

"Even if one day we're meant to be together, I still can't love you and can't accept you." Eyebrows stared at Rafael inside.

"Why?" hiss Rafael, there was a pain hitting his chest when he heard the words of the Eyebrows just now.

"Because I don't want to hurt the heart that always guards my heart. So I ask you, give up on expressing your love and showing me your love. Because it's all gonna be for nothing." His eyebrows take his breath in.

"Sorry, I can't see anyone but him." Eyebrows glanced at Al who was still outside the cafe.

Rafael was stunned to hear it, he was no longer able to speak. This rejection hurt so much for him, his pain even made him feel numb.

Eyebrows stood up from his seat and walked away leaving Rafael who was staring at him wistfully.

"Tell Al to come to my room. I was waiting for him there," Eyebrow told Randy, who was not far from him. Alis continued his steps without looking at Rafael for a moment.

Rafael was still staring at the Eyebrows. He felt his chest, there was tremendous pain as he heard the rejection from the girl he loved.

"Boss, our client has arrived" said Yaska, who had just arrived and was next to Rafael.

"Cancel today's event!" Rafael spoke without turning his gaze away. There was a bitter taste that he could not describe and he could not vomit, but he could not swallow either.

"Why? Wasn't the man in sight." Yaska was shocked to hear Rafael's sudden decision. He looked at Rafael. He was fine this morning, even looking very happy. But now why is it changing so quickly.

"Cancel and set up on another day!"

Yaska nodded obediently, his eyes turning towards the client who looked a little disappointed, but he did not dare to protest.

"Prepare flight! Now we're going home to our country!" rafael's command that returned left Yaska shocked for the second time.

He had just arrived and had no idea what was really going on. And there is no way he has become chatty for the time being because the situation is not good and not supportive.

Rafael stepped out of the cafe with an excruciatingly wounded heart. But he didn't want to show it to anyone because he didn't want to look weak in anyone's eyes.

Eyebrows stared at the window of his study, staring at the park not far from his place. His memory withers when Al first calms him down when injured. It is a foolish decision that he hurt the heart that always takes care of his heart sincerely. Only for the sake of a heart that is only obsessed with him even to deceive him and have messed up his life.

The door opened and Al entered the room, but Alis was completely unaware of it. He was still drifting in his daydreams, even when Al was always reliable in his life and how he struggled to keep his heart from faltering. That's what made Alis also fall in love with him so many times.

"Honey. What are you doing here?" Al stared in surprise at Alis who was suddenly in someone's study.

Eyebrows jerked and turned around. His smile instantly rose on his lips when he saw Al's whereabouts.

While Al is still focused on himself who has walked toward Al.

"So, you do work in this cafe?" ask Al. Eyebrows nodding.

"For what?" Connect Al.

"This cafe is mine Al. And there are other cafes."

Al was surprised to hear it. He had just discovered a fact that he had never been able to guess before. He looked at the whole room the first time he entered. There are so many bookshelves lined up there. But all of those books are very boring to read.

"OKAY. It's okay for me to tell you now" joked Al. His hand raised stroked the head of his Eyebrows and rattled his bangs. Makes the Eyebrows blush and smile sweetly.

"We'd better get out, I want to take you somewhere."

Alis nodded, without a word she grabbed Al's hand outstretched at her. Grasping her warmly, until the warm feeling slipped into her heart. I don't know since when the smile never separated from the lips of both. They walk hand in hand.

After traveling for 15 minutes, finally the car carrying a pair of young people stopped right at the night market rides.

Eyebrows were stunned for a moment, this was the first time he had come to the night market with someone special.

"Why?" Al disperse the reverie of Eyebrows.

The eyebrows just smiled and shook. He looked warmly at Al who again ruffled his hair to make a little mess.

"Come on! We're there!"

Al held Alis's hand tightly, a little small run carrying Alis to buy tickets to the rides they wanted to ride.

"What do you want to ride?" Al smilingly looked at Eyebrow, still clasping warmly the hand of Eyebrow.

While the Eyebrows are only fixated on staring at the sincere smile of Al who just this time he had time to pay attention to it. There are so many surprises behind that smile.

"Darling! Sweetheart! You why?"

His eyebrows were again aghast as he regained his senses from his daydream. He immediately turned his gaze away, embarrassed by his seemingly perverted attitude, looking at Al's lips continuously. Though in reality he was only fixated on the smile that adorned his lips.

Eyebrows shook, then looked down to hide his blushing face, to make Al chuckle and hold Alis back. This time his hand was perched right on his waist.

They ride almost all the rides of the game in the night market. They leave sweet memories at the beginning.

"Is this how people date?" mumbled Eyebrows in his heart. Still looking at the face of such a charming man. He felt lucky to be able to knit love with Al.

"Honey. I hope our love lasts forever and can be bound in a legitimate bond later." Al looked at the Eyebrow that had been staring at him deeply since. Eyebrows heart rumbled hearing him. He wanted to shout that he was happy, but he was unable to do so.

"Let this heart be for me!" Al pointed right at the chest of Eyebrows.

"Because this heart will forever be awake for you!" continued Al again while pointing towards his chest.

Eyebrows immediately nodded. "I'll definitely look after him just for you."

Al smiled and immediately hugged Alis.
