CHAPTER 25 || Oddity
Chao kept his sword back and traced the village that seemed to have changed overnight. His HP and Mp were full again, behind him were three people who followed him. Chao had already reached the food stall, where he had bought the venison yesterday and the place was very quiet, there was not a single activity of his customers or employees.
"We'd better split up" Chao suggested to the Ranger who followed him
"If there's anything immediately give a sign. You two can use the Water Ball as a sign and you ." Chao said.
"I can use the earth pillar as a sign" he said, echoing Chao's remarks
" ... okay, that's it first" Chao continued
Chao continued to move straight ahead, while the others scattered in three different directions. Chao paused for a break and found something suspicious. A stranger is seen in the corner of one of the houses, disappearing after Chao sees him.
"Another clue" murmured Chao
Chao leaped onto the roof, looking in all directions even if not too far away. To the south are a group of armed men and strangely dressed. It did not look like the villagers in the slightest, other than that they were seen guarding the South gate.
"Focus." Chao looked at the place in more detail and found what he wanted.
The men wore dark green clothes, carried bows and quivers on his back and carried Bite Bomb on his gun belt. There was not a single Ranger guarding the gate, not even the watchtower was filled by foreigners. All the buildings look intact around it.
"They look like Players," Chao murmured as he nodded
"Especially her clothing style is very narcissistic," Chao commented when looking at the color of their clothes
Chao jumped down, took out the Mana Rifle and shot upwards.

The shot was very striking and attracted the attention of many people. The other ranger who followed Chao earlier saw the sign and immediately rushed over. The three Rangers had already introduced themselves to Chao. Spearman-type Ranger named Arto, Archer-type Ranger as well as Support named Faplo, and the last name is Farza.
Arto arrived earlier than the others, he landed on the ground after jumping off the roof of a small inn. He asked Chao why he gave this unique mark.
"There was a group of strangers guarding and filling all the guardhouses at the South Gate. There wasn't a single Ranger there," Chao answered his question
Arto was shocked to hear Chao's statement. He prepared to run south, but Chao held him back and said,
"Wait for the others, and we'll take care of them. They're about a platoon,"
"20 people you mean?" ask Arto to make sure
"More or less," Chao nodded
Arto stood up and waited for the others to come. Faplo and Farza arrived shortly afterwards, without being told they knew the reason immediately. Because they both just got out of there. It didn't take long, arrows invaded the four of them.
"Protection I." the energy dome blocked the attack and reflected it back
"Soil Spike." Sharp ground surged upward within a radius of 5 m. This gave him enough distance for both the enemy and himself.
"Double Arrow." the double arrows stormed them back intensively. Chao held off all attacks with his Protection I skill.
"Water Ball." The water ball slid forward and then hit the enemy's body until it was soaked. The enemy laughed because he felt no pain at all.
Several Water Balls were re-launched and broke in the air before reaching the enemy. The enemy throws the Bite Bomb and Arto is arrested.

"Soil Wall." The earth wall towered upwards and blocked the enemy's attack.
Faplo and Farza nodded then muttered,
"Frosting." The air temperature immediately dropped dramatically followed by the appearance of frost freezing in the air.
The enemy's body immediately shivered in coldness as it had previously been wet and exposed to the Wet debuff. Faplo and Farza muttered again,
"Freezing." Some of the enemy's bodies froze very quickly, only a few were still normal.
"Throw Soil Spike." The sharp ground was lifted up and flew towards the enemy simultaneously.
The enemy's body was instantly pierced through by numerous attacks. Only a few were able to dodge and shoot Arto. Chao resisted the enemy's attack and took out the Mana Rifle.
"Assault's."
Dozens of blue rays shot out, piercing through the enemy's body nonstop. Chao attacked as he continued forward and followed his comrade. Faplo and Farza take their bows and then shoot the enemy free.
"Explosives Arrow."

The Archer duo's arrow continued to shoot and explode as it reached its target spot. The enemy was confused because Chao was also aiming at them with Assault skill. The bodies of the enemies slowly melted back and they moved freely, but the wounds on their bodies were still there and limited some things.
"Heal." green light entered their bodies and healed the wounds on his body.
Arto ran forward, accompanied by the appearance of Soil Spike around his body in a radius of 3 m. His spear was tightly grasped. The enemy responded to Arto's arrival with a bow filled with arrows ready to be drawn.

Arto jumps up to dodge and lands in front of the enemy. He stabbed his opponent in the stomach, then the spear he turned clockwise.

Arto proceeded to stab the enemies one by one to death. The moment they died, there were not a single corpse, all of them turned into white particles in the air. Arto attacks the enemy safely because the sharp ground continues to be created and fly around his body and then thrown in various directions. Arto managed to crush 10 Archers alone.
Faplo and Farza chase the enemy on the rooftop, the duo continues to shoot up various places on a small scale. Chao kept the Mana Rifle and changed his weapon into a giant spear that he had made in the city of Vayoca.
"Triple Arrow!" a loud cry was heard and after it the rain of arrows literally appeared.
Faplo and Farza are out of sight, they've come a long way. There's only Chao and Arto here. The duo is very useful.

Chao tried to protect himself and his comrades from dying silly. All the arrows were held in the air, Chao retreated backwards.
"Weapon Explosion, Reversal Effect I,"
The arrow was returned to its owner by Chao–all without exception. In addition, Chao prepared explosives there.

Unfortunately, the enemy was already conscious, so they dodged in time a moment after the arrow bombarded their previous location. The enemy was not seen at all, but it was clear that they had been shooting from the roof of the inn.

There are many enemies around them. The enemy has encircled both, not from the north or southeast anymore. Both have been surrounded. Chao pulled back his spear, Arto also did the same.
Without warning, Arto immediately lunged forward. The enemy drew his bow and rained down on Arto. Arto jumped to and fro to escape, then he jumped on the roof, where the enemy shot him.
"The Dust Wave ... " The dust came and formed a small vortex on the roof, limiting the enemy's visibility.
Arto pierced the enemy off guard as he tried to see among the dust. Eventually many died pierced by Arto's spear. Chao simply stood in his place, noticing some inconspicuous dots containing enemies.

The enemy in a nearby building immediately shot Chao, destroying his hideout. Chao looked back at the Cooldown of his weapon and replaced it with his strange spear. The spear sucked the enemy's MP. Chao leapt up and landed at the door of the enemy's hideout, a small inn.

Chao did not have time to fend off enemy attacks, fortunately managed to be held with his Dp.

Chao threw his spear towards the stairs, in an instant the stairs were on fire. Chao walked towards his spear and took it back. He turned his spear back and stabbed various places with his weapon, the result was half the lobby space was burned. Chao intended to burn down all the places in this building until the Assassin players came out by themselves because they lost their hiding places.
"Get out and fight with me, you coward! Or do you want to choose to be some kind of Man or some roasted Elf? Let's answer the coward!" chao shouted
Again there is no response. Chao felt that his enemy was not out of any threat, so he would carry out his next execution.
"Explode," murmured Chao

The place previously marked by Chao instantly exploded and destroyed various places. Now the place is getting worse, crumbling and burning violently at one time. Chao again kept his spear and watched the room carefully, after a while there finally came a strange movement in the corner of the room that happened to be where the fire was burning.
'Finally come out too you guys, ' Chao muttered in his mind
"Laser Shoot." Chao shot the place with a suspicious move earlier and the result was something coming out of it. White light appeared in the air.
"Well, it turns out you guys have to get out the rough way. Assault" Chao said with satisfaction
Chao shot at 1 to 5. Each shot smashing one point became even more severe than before. Chao saved back the Mana Rifle after messing up the entire room. He took out the spear and the attack resumed.
"Darkness Spear I." The spear was thrown towards 2 o'clock and a loud shout was heard again,
"Byeah!" a very clear sound of pain echoed among the sounds of wood burning.
"Good, it turns out that's where you're hiding. Darkness Spear I, Weapon Explosion," Chao said, a new spear was thrown and the old spear was again forcefully pulled back with Mp thread.
Booms!
"Well! Basic damn ... "a loud shout came back and in an instant someone appeared before Chao,
" Stab!"

"Ughhh!" The man retreated and spewed blood from his mouth, he took out his Dagger and threw it at Chao.

The dagger was supposed to be turned back towards its owner, but everything was not as expected. The dagger turned and pierced Chao's shoulder and exploded right then and there.

"Burn I ... " The spear was burning again
"Increase Burns I." The fire in the spear was blazing more ferociously, its flame tongue trying to reach out to various things around it.
Chao chased after the man, only to escape to the other side of the room.
"You won't be able to escape, Touch Explosion!" chao exclaimed, he then touched the burning floor and chanted another skill,
"Increase Touch Explosion" Chao said, the pattern on the floor extending further and further into the pursuit of the person's legs.
Chao threw his spear through the stomach of the man.

The floor of the inn was completely destroyed to make a large hole in which there was still burning land. The fire is getting crazy, I don't know how many Assassins are burning alive.
