CHAPTER 22: Mobilization

Chao looked ahead, to where the troops were suddenly attacking him. They had already attacked him with many arrows from crossbows. Chao himself was astonished, he had been honest with them and this was his reply. Without a second thought Chao also retaliated against them, this also aimed to make himself survive their attacks.

"Huh ... Battle Mode," two shoulder cannons re-appeared for the next time.

"One Shoot." One of Chao's shoulder cannons fired projectiles at the troops in front of him.

After some distance, Chao managed to reach the nearest station. Chao saw many Mana trains passing by, but there were some places filled with many Mana trains stopping.

From inside the train, many people came out in military uniforms and weapons. All of them were troops mobilized by Vayoca City from the territory of its subordinates. Of the several trains there are different troops in his uniform, this signifies the identity of the region. Chao ignored the presence of the troops, choosing to find an empty carriage. Chao moved North and found a train that was stopping. Chao approached and greeted the officer who was near the train.

Without thinking about the cost of the train, Chao immediately boarded the train. That was all Chao saw from the train. There were hardly any passengers, there were only a few people here, that was mostly Npc over 40 years old. So, Chao had to wait first for this train to move to its destination.

While the station looked very crowded due to the state of war, various kinds of troops came out of the train. Each of these troops moved towards the third gate of the South Gate, this was a direct aid to Haytrea's forces. All of these were not Haytrea's troops, but rather the troops brought on the orders of Viscount Edward. Most of these troops were infantry, both long-range and close-range. There were no Artillery or Cavalry, this was in accordance with their means of transportation.

One horde of troops moved faster than the others, they rushed to the South gate. All the members of this army were long-range troops, crossbow archers. The clash of the two armies took place. The Black Goblin that was shot first advanced violently. Ranger here is not weak, because of the buff from Avker.

Avker held three enemy axes at once with his spear, then he pulled his spear quickly and carried out a puncture attack. The distance with the enemy was about 2 meters, that was enough distance for his spear. Avker jumped straight into the enemy forces, he held his spear tightly before landing.

The Black Goblin's opponent this time was not easy, they were just Npc players instead, but their abilities were stronger than the players present in this city. Avker and the other Rangers could still see in a dark place because they had the Night Vision skill.

"Forward! Finish them all!" Avker shouted to give orders to his troops.

Avker pulled his spear back from the ground. Now he intended to kill many Black Goblins at once. Avker stabbed his opponent and threw him into the air until he fell back. Avker destroyed the enemy's shield and took the enemy's axe. Avker increasingly violent in killing his enemy, his hands like tireless. The right hand is used to hold the axe, while the other is used for the spear. The Avker conducts round attacks with two different weapons and both are coated with mana.

"Soil Hammer." The Ranger who used the chain mail armor used his skill then hit his enemy quickly vertically.

Of course the attack was easily held back by the Black Goblin, it resisted the attack with its shield raised upwards.

The ranger kicked his opponent's waist as he focused on defending from his hammer. The Black Goblin was fragmented in concentration due to the pain in her waist. The ranger raised his hammer and struck back towards the chest of his enemy, the Black Goblin was pushed back slightly. Black Goblin retaliated, he slashed his axe towards his opponent's waist which should be quite difficult for the hammer user to fend off.

After fending it off, the Ranger held onto his enemy's axe and then pulled it. Then after the pull, the Ranger raised his leg slightly above the ground and pushed his foot with all his might towards the enemy's foot. The moment the Black Goblin fell, the Ranger struck back, this time directly into the head of his enemy. The Black Goblin's body was still held firmly by his feet.

The Black Goblin's iron helmet was shattered, the Ranger's hammer managed to damage a small part of his head. The ranger immediately pulled the enemy's axe so that the enemy did not have any weapons. The Black Goblin stood back up, its hand emitting a pitch-black light, the element of darkness residing within it releasing an ominous aura.

"Dark Aura!" His body was enveloped in that dark aura from his hands which then spread throughout his body. The creature's HP was rapidly diminishing, its HP was increasing, its physical strength was increasing sharply.

"It seems that you turned into an impromptu fighter after your weapon was taken huh," the Ranger told his opponent.

The ranger also prepared, he lowered his body to form low horses as he unsheathed his hammer and axe. The fight immediately ensued after the two sides finished preparing themselves.
