CHAPTER 20: Towards the Peak of Battle

The West Gate was in a desolate state, Archer still filled the fort as a temporary guard along with the Ranger on the other side of the fortress. The Black Goblin took cover behind its own shields to avoid being hit by Chao's random attacks, some choosing to absorb damage with its shield.

" The Reversal Effect." Chao stared directly at his enemy's shield to get his enchant to work.

The damage that was supposed to be absorbed by the shield instead returned to the owner of the shield, causing his body to be hollow like being hit by a spear directly. Chao saw his Mp waning rapidly, but he didn't care. His opponent was many while he was alone. Chao turns his Mp into a thread and throws it in the hope of reaching his target. His thread made it up, one thread split into many and screech trying to hook the opponent's spear.

"Haha, can. Darkness Spear, Weapon Explosion." Chao pulled out all the spears he managed to get while throwing a Darkness Spear that would explode upon arrival.

Chao transformed the metal with his Mana into a larger spear. It didn't take long for a spear to be finished, Chao took it out and doused it with water that was in Object Creator. The spear emitted a threatening aura as it came from various spears that were merged into one.

"Darkness Lance, Weapon Explosion, Double Damage." The newly forged spear was instantly used to draw fresh blood from its victims.

Now all of the Black Goblins fighting him were quite severely injured as each of his wounds drained blood. Chao pulled back his spear and put it into the Inventory. Since his Mp was already dying, he would be gone from this battle. Chao glanced at his opponent who could be said to have been hit by the Bleeding debuff, just waiting for them again if they would die. If he died from the Bleeding effect, then he would level up easily.

Chao and his opponent's circumstances were actually the same, Hp Chao had also reduced by half. Exterminating Chao would be easy now because other than his little HP his Mp was almost depleted, so there would be no self-defense. Haytrea was still controlling her golems to fight nonstop, her face was already pale now from forcing herself. If Haytrea stopped now, her mission would fail and automatically her Guild would be blamed.

Enna who saw that was a little worried about the state of her superior, but she herself would not be able to stop it because it was the same as dropping Haytrea's pride as well as the Guild she was in. The Black Goblin that was on top of the fortress close to the Siege Tower was also fighting it out. All of them pushed forward to finish off the remaining Spearman, all of them falling down one by one.

Enna saw the pace of the battle become one-sided after Haytrea's departure. The enemy has realized the key to his victory. Spearman is gone, all that's left up there is Gunner and Archer. The Rangers were also reduced a lot as they were also in the same place as Spearman.

The remaining Ranger and the commander of the gate, Avker, have descended from the fortress, they will go to the fourth gate which is in the direction of the Black Goblin army. Avker's body was drenched in blood, his Mana Rifle as well, mixed with the enemy's blood as well. His Battle Mode had been disabled since they had descended earlier. Avker can still walk firmly even though injured, the fighting spirit is very high it turns out.

Archer who was there immediately gave the alert code to his partner and to the Ranger. All the archers were preparing in position, their bows had been drawn. The Ranger also aimed forward with the Mana Rifle.

The newly arrived Tulkenia on top of the wall became astonished by the behavior of her subordinates, so she asked.

The Black Goblin who realized its target was conscious became increasingly aggressive attacking. Most of the tents around the first Black Goblin army were player-class Support tents, so the most casualties came from there. More than 300 players were killed by the burning of his tent, even though the tent was still inhabited. The Black Goblin's second army had a hard time finishing off its enemies as they were already conscious and alert.
