“Harum have eaten, Bi?” ask Hangga on Bi Jenah who is making instant noodles in the kitchen.
“Aibi has not seen Neng Harum out of the room,” Bi Jenah replied.
“Oh, so yes,” says Hangga mangut-mangut.
After the dawn of that day, Harum always locked himself in the room. The first wife of Hangga was just out of the room for urgent matters. That was if Hangga had already climbed into his room on the second floor. As much as possible Harum always avoids meeting or passing with Hangga.
Harum will go to work when Hangga and Nata have left first and will go home before Hangga and Nata go home first.
“Mi is done, Mas. Can I bring it up?” tawar Bi Jenah who just finished pouring the cooked noodles into the bowl.
“Not working, Bi. I'm the one who brought it up.”
“He deh. Mas Hangga be careful yes take it,” Bi Jenah message while putting the bowl of noodles on the tray.
Two bowls of instant noodles that still emit hot smoke, complete with eggs, sausages and vegetables are ready to be brought by Hangga to his room on the second floor.
Just like Harum, since that incident, Nata has never been seen eating breakfast or dinner at the dinner table. He prefers to eat on the sofa of the library room located on the second floor, sometimes even in the room.
“Bi, I ask for help, later Harum told to eat yes,” pinta Hangga just before leaving the kitchen.
“Siap, Mas,” says Bi Jenah.
That's what Hangga always said every night to Bi Jenah, making sure Harum for dinner. Bahka now Hangga rarely sat in front of the television, so that Harum who was avoiding him felt comfortable. Usually in the morning, Hangga will ask Bi Jenah, whether Harum last night dinner or not.
Hangga enjoys her unhealthy dinner with Nata. Instant noodles that still emit smoke are eaten slowly.
Five days after the incident Nata caught himself out of Harum's room, Nata's attitude has improved and behaved normally as usual, although sometimes still like to bring up.
Women ‘kan is indeed a hobby of bringing up. Especially the ones that hurt him. If so, women will corner their partners until they hit the ground. Men usually prefer silence. Ogah argued because there would be no end to it.
Don't think after the incident Nata's attitude is fine. For four days, he was forced to have a manyun and bite his fingers because of Nata's indifference.
The phone rang while the couple was still enjoying instant noodles.
“Who?” tanya Nata glanced at Hangga who had already grabbed the phone and put down her bowl.
“From mom.”
“Oh.”
“I answered mom's phone first yes,” said Hangga.
“Assalamualikum, Mom,” greet Hangga after wiping the phone picture icon on the phone screen.
A few moments later, Hangga who was sitting near Nata stood up and stepped away from Nata to be more free to chat with his mother.
“Nat, I went there first yes,” said to Hangga through a hand signal. Nata answered with a nod of his head.
From where she sat, Nata watched Hanges. He saw the handsome face of Hangga shriveled while talking to his mother.
“For so long the phone,” complained Nata by muttering softly.
It had been over fifteen minutes of the phone call, but it had not ended yet. Nata had even spent a bowl of instant noodles. While instant noodles have a new mango eaten a few spoons only. Delayed because of a phone call.
“What's up?” nata asked after the in-law's phone call to Hangga for almost half an hour was over.
“Libur later, mom tell me to go home,” said Hangga.
“I'm coming,” sahut Nata fast.
“It's better not to, Nat. Next time go with it.”
“Why?” lontar Nata who seemed to dislike the answer of Hangga.
“Mother wants me to come just as fragrant.”
“Why Hangga? I'm also your wife!”
“Iya, Darling. I also want to bring you along, but this is mom's decision.”
“What the hell is it that I can't come?”
“I don't know either, Nat. Mom just told me to go home as fragrant.”
“Your mother was not the same now. Your mother doesn't like me!”
“Sabar, Nat. I will tell my mother next time you can come,” said Hangga stroked Nata's arm slowly. Trying to calm Nata down.
While the heart of Hangga itself is not calm because of his chat with his mother by phone earlier.
“Harum was mom's phone. Harum said, the day after tomorrow he wants to go home. I asked her if she was going home with you, she said she wanted to go home by herself. What are you guys doing?”
