Episode 16 - The Law of Karma?

"Huhuhoo....."

Suddenly there was the sound of crying from Nurul's house after he received a phone call. All of the rented residents went out and headed to Nurul's house, except for Luke.

"What's wrong?" ask Brother Tyas.

"Suami.suamiku.." said Nurul in the middle of his crying.

"Why's husband? Just be healthy, right?" ask Kak Nia no less panic. Because Nurul's husband works as an inter-city driver.

"No... That's not.."

"Then?" ask them not to understand.

"My husband's remarried, brother. He just called me to ask for a divorce."

"What?" ask Brother Tyas.

"Seriously you?" tanya Fitri and Merry who just joined.

Luke, who was preparing to leave for campus, passed Nurul's house with a rest. He doesn't care about the furore at contract number two. After all, he did not necessarily come to help.

"Well, what's that sound?" Luke's surprised. Luke looked around. Looks like from the house next door.

Silent. It doesn't sound anything anymore. Luke continues his activities. Tlep. Power's out.

"What other sound is that? Not a ghost, right?" Luke shuddered in horror at the faint sound of crying. Serrr.... The wind blew fiercely, making the atmosphere even more gripping.

"Hic... Hic... "

Luke could not hear clearly due to the rushing wind. Electricity is still not on. He just turned on the flashlight from his phone.

"Hic..hik... Be ill... Bloods... Hicksnake..." The voice sounded again.

"Blood?" Luke's mind drifted straight to the horror movies he had seen.

"No, it's not a ghostly voice. Ina's crying." Luke sharpened his listening senses. Ina's still crying. Occasionally there was a sound of friction on the floor and calling out to someone. It was like he was unable to stand up.

"Don't you, Ina fell and miscarried?" Luke realized something. A few days ago Ina had just checked for pregnancy.

Luke took off his face and was about to run to the house next door.

"Ah, why am I helping him? He himself said that if he was sick there was no need to help him. There's still a lot of other people who can help her, right?" Luke stopped his steps just before opening the door.

"But where are the other residents?" say Luke. The voice in the house next door was still whimpering in pain. While the rain spatter began to sound on the roof, it united with the roar of the wind.

Minutes by minutes passed. Luke still heard the cries from next door.

"lt's... Ina... You okay, honey?" Dede ran into the house.

Dede and his wife went outside. Along with Luke who took orders ojek food.

" Sister Luke? It turns out that brother was home from earlier?" ina asked as they met in view.

"Yes" Luke replied briefly.

"Son't you heard my voice since?"

"Listen. Then why?" ask Luke with a joke.

Ina just put on a smelly face.
