Chapter 63 - Jayden Bucin

"Mom, today Daddy has to go out for a while. There's work to be done, you know what if Daddy lives first?" Jayden asked, the handsome man was already preparing with his all-black neat clothes. He rolled his shirt up to his elbow, making Jayden look much more dashing. 

"Where, Dad?" Tanya Ayyara, the pregnant woman was snacking on fruit in the living room while watching television. Since becoming pregnant, Ayyara can not be far from the name of her snack. Fruit or ciki. But, Jayden further suggested that his wife was snacking on fresh fruits. 

"To headquarters, Mom."

Both eyes of Ayyara immediately widened upon hearing the word headquarters, the place made Ayyara goosebumps. 

"Why is Daddy there?"

"There's stuff coming, Mommy. Jack can't handle it alone." 

"Hmmm, but not for long." Pinta Ayyara whined a little. Actually, she didn't want to be left behind by her husband. Either way, he'll be alone if Jayden leaves. Of course, it would make her lonely. 

"Yes, Mommy. After the job is done, Daddy will go straight home. No need to worry, okay?" 

"Go home with the same circumstances when Daddy leaves." Ayyara said softly, Jayden saw that his wife was worried. He also could not blame why his wife could be this worried, because he was a mafia with enemies that were everywhere and ready to attack him at any time. That's the only reason, nothing else. 

"Of course, Mommy. Daddy's as strong as T-rex."

"But, T-rex class has its flaws, Daddy. His hands are small, hehe." Ayyara replied with a chuckle, as well as Jayden. 

"Alright, then Daddy goes first. Jack and the others must have been waiting for Daddy at the base."

"Okay, Dad." Answer Ayyara slowly. 

"If you're bored, you can go out but with a bodyguard." 

"But, why the same bodyguard anyway, Dad? I'm kan.."

"Mommy, remember that our current situation is still not completely safe. The enemy could have taken advantage of my departure to be able to take you from Daddy, please do you understand?" Persuade Jayden.

"Alright, Dad. I'm at home, I feel at home because there's a lot of food, like in the minimarket." Ayyara answered with a smile. Jayden rubbed the top of the wife's head in a friendly manner, then kissed her forehead. 

"Be careful on his path, Daddy."

"Yes, Mommy. There's some Daddy guys standing guard here for your safety." 

"Good, Dad." Ayyara replied, this time she obeyed Jayden's words without refusing any more. Because he realized that the current situation was really unsafe for him and also the baby he was carrying. 

"Baby, don't fuss with Mommy, okay? Daddy's gonna be out for a little while on the job, and when it's done, Daddy's gonna be home." Jayden said, he also said goodbye to his prospective children who are still in Ayyara's stomach. 

"okay, Daddy. Baby promises not to be naughty, will not make Mommy's trouble." Ayyara answered by imitating the voice of a child. Jayden smiled, he again kissed the wife's friendly forehead. He went from the apartment to the headquarters. There were some jobs he had to keep an eye on in person, not even Jack could he trust about this. 

Jayden drives his sports car at a fairly high speed, it is common for him to drive recklessly like this. For him, speeding on the road was part of his life. He liked the sensation, especially if someone scolded him. Instead of her being angry, she would instead smile because it was one of her happiness. Crazy right? His way of making yourself happy is a little different from the rest. 

In just over an hour, Jayden had already set foot in the headquarters. There was Jack and the others, they immediately welcomed the arrival of Jayden, as their leader.

"How's it?" Jayden asked, the man was too to the point, he was like he didn't need to rest for a moment. He just wants his job done soon and he can go back home to meet and indulge with his wife.

"We found the enemy's movement, sir."

"Enemies? Which one?" Jayden asked with his super duper flat face. 

"The black angel."

"Don't I behead the unlucky leader that day?" 

"It turns out, it's a false leader, sir."

"What's? What do you mean?" Jayden asked, he looked quite surprised. 

"The leader you defeated that day is only a chess piece controlled by the original leader. For now, his leader is still mysterious." 

Jayden fell silent, he needed to think about all the possibilities that could have happened. Moreover, at this moment, he also had two people that he had to protect. Wife and also her future baby. 

"Like her, they've also found out about Ayyara, Jay." Jack said, he also spoke. 

"Where do you know what, Jack? It should be Ayyara's identity, her status and what her relationship with me was still a secret!" 

"Everything is possible even though we have done everything we could to keep Ayyara's identity a secret, but the enemy also has a thousand ways to find information about you, Jay." Jack said, Jayden nodded his head. Yes, what Jack said is true. 

"Now, we just need to tighten the guard for Ayyara. Don't miss it, because it's the life of your wife and child, Jay!"

"Yes, I know it's Jack."

"Your wife is pregnant, sir?"

"Hmmm, you shouldn't be asking this now. The timing is not right." Jack said tightly, making the man speechless.

"You, keep an eye on the enemy's movements. The others, must be on guard around the base." Jayden's orders, made all the members instantly nod their heads in unison. 

The meeting was over, Jayden entered the room followed by Jack. The man walked straight with a straight forward look. Likewise with Jack, the dark circles under his eyes are clearly visible, indicating that he is sleep deprived these days because there is a lot of busyness, while the leader is still busy with his wife. Jack understood her, because Jayden still enjoys being a newlywed. 

Jay took a cigarette and lit it, it's been a long time since he smoked. Especially now that he is married and his wife is pregnant, pregnant women like Ayyara are not good when exposed to cigarette smoke. So, he could only smoke while at the headquarters. 

"Jay.."

"Hmmm.."

"You need to tighten your wife's surveillance."

"Yes, I know Jack!"

"Ayyara is innocent, after all."

"He was innocent, but I. I'm the mastermind of all the trouble he's going through right now. Because of me, he can't travel freely. He can only stay at home now, if he wants to get out of the house, he has to be with me or with the bodyguards for his safety." Jayden said at length. He exhaled, until cigarette smoke flew freely filled the room which was dominated by all black.

"If I were an ordinary person, not like me now, maybe none of this would happen and Ayyara wouldn't be afraid to travel, nor would I. Maybe I can be free, everywhere there's no need to carry a gun behind my suit."

"Enough, Jay! This isn't the Jayden I know, you're changing Jay. Remember, not because of love you're so weak like this. Comeback, Jay. It's not you." Jack said, Jayden looked at Jack at a glance and then looked straight back. He rested his head on the back of the sofa and closed his eyes. 

He longed to live like a normal person in his general, who was never in the shadows by the enemy. If only he was an ordinary person, surely the safety of his wife and prospective children would be guaranteed. Not like this time. 

"I'm tired, Jack."

"Yes, humans do have their own tired spots, Jay. But don't give up, you're gonna give up on all this? Bodooh, you're not Jayden if you just give up on this, Jay!" 

"Hmm, I don't know. But ever since I was with Ayyara, my life has been focused on her. It's what scares me that one day the enemy will get it."

Jack's advice was long.

"So you don't think I'm sane, Jack? You want to die?" Jayden asked as he reached into his pocket preparing to pick up his weapon.

"Isshh, just hearing her makes me creep, Jay. What if your best friend eats a megalodon shark?" 

"Bodo is very, it's even better. That way, no one else will pester me!"

"Gosh, you're so mean, Jay." Said Jack with a face mimic made as sad as possible, but not his pity Jayden even spit up to see the face of his best friend.

"Don't know, just suddenly nauseous look at Lo's face, Jack."

"Damn." Said Jack while throwing peanut shells at Jayden. As for the man, he laughed at Jack's annoyed expression.

"Jack, it's late at night. I have to go." 

"Yes, be careful on the road."

"Okay, Jack." Jayden replied, he left Jack at the base. There is Bima and Arka also here, while the one who guards Ayyara in the apartment is Roy. 

Jayden brought his sports car from the headquarters at high speed, the handsome man wanted to get home immediately to forget his own safety because he wanted to quickly meet his favorite wife. 

But, when in the middle of the trip, Jayden's phone even rang loudly. The man stopped his vehicle on the side of the road for a moment, he took his cell phone and picked up the phone which turned out to be from his beautiful wife.

'Hallo, where's Dad?' Ask Ayyara across the phone.

"It's on the way home, Mom. Why?"

'Hehe, suddenly Mommy wants to eat pizza.' 

"Okay, that extra chesee?" 

'Yes, Daddy.' Ayyara answered making the man nod his head. 

"Waiting me, Mommy."

'Of course, Daddy. Baby will wait for the pizza.' 

"Yes already, Daddy continued again huh? Let's just get her home." After that call was completed, Jayden again save his phone into his pants pocket, he was back to drive the four-wheeled vehicle at high speed. 

Not to forget, he bought a pizza ordered by his wife. He also bought mango juice with ice cream on top of his, his wife's favorite. If he bought pizza in this store, surely after buying the food, Ayyara would buy the drink because the stand is next to each other. 

After getting it, Jayden went home. He felt there was something a little awkward with a car that was right behind him, feeling his instant work. The man smiled smirk.

"All right, I'll go with your game. Just look! You're not gonna be able to follow me." Jayden muttered, he stepped on the gas pedal firmly. He's driving at a very high speed now, the car at the back is also offsetting the speed of the car driven by Jayden, but it's a pity like his skill in driving a four-wheeled vehicle that is not how compared to the ability of a Jayden. 

Jayden laughed as he looked back, apparently the car was nowhere to be seen. Far behind at the red light, the man laughed with satisfaction. Don't play around with her, because this really isn't funny. 

Once at the apartment, Jayden asks Roy and his men to leave because he is home, he can protect Ayyara. 

"I'm back, Roy."

"Good, Sir. Then excuse us."

"Same?" Jayden asked before the four big tall men would leave. 

"Sir, Mister." 

"Good, you can go. Accompany Jack at the base, he's with Bima and Arka. I'm afraid he'll be depressed when he's with those two." Obviously Jayden, Roy nodded his head. 

Everyone also knows that Arka and Bima are a little different. They're both too weird for a mafia size, but when they're in serious fashion they're really scary. That's the reason why the two men became people who Jayden trusted enough after Jack of course. 

Jayden opened the door and saw his wife sleeping on the sofa with the television on. The plate on the table that contained the fruit was clean at this time. 

The man smiled sweetly, but he was confused. Should he wake his wife? But, he can't bear. Especially when looking at the calm face of the sleeping wife, Jayden was always happy when he saw the wife's calm face while sleeping. It makes her entertained, but Ayyara's face is not funny actually for others.

But, different again with the view of someone who is on the wash. Whatever Ayyara shows, it must remain adorable in Jayden's eyes.
