Chapter 55 - The Mafia Family

By night, everything was ready. The dishes are available on a long table, decorated with candles that emit bright light, making the atmosphere of the night feel very warm. 

But not for Ayyara. The girl was walking back and forth in her room, in a blue knee-length dress bought by her parents this afternoon. The girl just kept walking here and there restlessly. She was worried about the man she said would come to propose to her? Who her?

Why is he worried? Because she was afraid Jayden would hurt her, that's all. He remembered that Rendy had been the victim of a King Jayden sadism, and now would there be another victim? Hopefully not and Ayyara hopes like that. He didn't want anyone to get hurt because of him. 

"Gosh, what should I do? Calling Daddy? But I'm mad at him." Ayyara muttered while looking at her phone, she wanted to contact Jayden but she undoes it. He was really confused as to what to do now. 

"But if Daddy doesn't know about this, I'm afraid he'll be upset. Who is that guy who wants to ask me? Make it complicated." Gerutu Ayyara, Rendy's problem just not finished, now she is back in the mess with the figure of a man who will come to propose her suddenly.

"Darling.." Agnes came and opened the door to the princess' room. 

"Yes, Ma.." Ayyara answered while sharing her small smile which is clearly visible when forced. 

"Let's go down, your future husband's entourage is waiting."

"H-aahh, he's coming, Ma?" Ayyara asked, Agnes smiled then nodded her head. She rubbed Ayyara's pretty face gently. 

"You look so pretty, baby. Like a princess from heaven."

"Ma, who's that guy? Ayyara doesn't want to be proposed suddenly like this." Ayyara said, making Agnes chuckle.

"Why, baby? Do you already have a mooring of hearts, other than Rendy?" Agnes's question made Ayyara lower her head. 

"Yes, Ayyara has a boyfriend." The girl answered making Agnes frown. 

"Who, Son?"

"The one who saved Ayya from Rendy, Ma." Ayyara answered softly, even so softly only the second can hear her. 

"But this guy came to propose to you, baby. Just look, you meet him. Whether you accept the proposal or not, it's up to you, baby. Mama equally papah has no right to forbid or force you, if if you do not match him." Clearly Agnes while gently stroking Ayyara's hair. 

"Hmmm, okay, Ma." Ayyara replied, Agnes smiled and pulled her daughter's hand out of her room, the two women walking down the stairs carefully. Ayyara held the arms of the mother, honestly at this time she was in a state of great nervousness.

Although this was not the proposal he expected plus he wanted, but still he was feeling nervous. Several times he sighed softly, while walking towards the back garden. The place where dinner together will be held. 

Ayyara closed her eyes as they got closer to the location of the event, hoping that it was a dream. The event was really very sudden and the whole point of this dinner together was to propose to her. The girl thought that this was just an illusion, she patted her face to make Jayden immediately move from her seat and walked closer towards Ayyara. 

"Stop hurting your own body, baby."

"D-daddy.."

"Yes, I am, baby." Jayden answered while framing Ayyara's beautiful face. The girl was still flickering so in disbelief that the one currently standing in front of her was Jayden. 

"I'm coming, to propose to you." 

"H-uh?" Ayyara asked with all her shock, so the man who would propose to her was Jayden? Please, don't tell me this is all a dream. He really hoped that this was the reality. 

"But why is Daddy here?"

"You forgot that I'm Jayden, who can go anywhere and anytime, Baby." 

"But this is all too sudden and shocking for me, Dad." 

"Not for your parents, baby." Jayden replied, again the man's words made Ayyara surprised. He looked at his mother and father who were smiling. True, they are not surprised because they have long known that Ayyara has a relationship with Jayden who turns out to be their leader. 

Yes, Agnes and David are a married couple who are members of a mafia clan led by Jayden. Their job is always done in pairs so that no one thinks that the couple who looks good and always romantic is one of the words of the Jayden mafia clan.
