Chapter 40 - Stalker #2

Jayden escorted the car that Sherena was driving, but just halfway through, Jayden felt a bad feeling. So, she called the girl's number so she pulled her car over on the side of the road first. 

Ayyara, who was focusing on driving, did not realize that her phone rang. He is always focused on driving, although sometimes he drives his car recklessly. 

Jayden cursed when Ayyara didn't pick up her phone, she was worried. Really worried at this time, especially behind his car now there are some people who are wearing all-black clothes and wearing masks starting to overtake their cars. Like him, they had no idea who the person in the car was. 

Jayden had no other choice, he was convinced that the men had come to harm the girl. They came with bad intentions, Jayden was convinced of that. Finally, Jay took out a firearm from his suit pocket. 

"Jack, drive the car well."

"You're gonna do it?" Jack asked, he glanced at Jayden who was filling his bullet. He was sure that Jayden would do something reckless, let alone this on the road. Jack is worried about putting innocent people at risk.

Jayden opened the window of his car, then pulled out his firearm. He's aiming with focus, that's one of Jayden's skills. He can aim at the target precisely, even though the car is speeding.

Jayden was aiming at the target, not the head of the person he was after, but his motorcycle tyres. As expected, one person who was riding a motorcycle was screwed and hit the road barrier. He sprawled, making Jayden smile. But, in front there are still a few more motorcycles that keep chasing Ayyara's car. 

"There's six more, Jack."

"Yes, I saw it, Jay. Just focus, leave everything to me."

"I believe you, Jack!" Jayden replied, he also returned to the gun. One by one they start to fall and eventually they all run out. Jack overtakes Ayyara's vehicle, forcing the girl to stop her vehicle on the side of the road. 

Jayden got out of his car, with his mask on. So that neither side of the enemy sees his face directly. Because so far, he always wears a mask when executing enemies. Whenever and wherever it is, he does not want his face seen by the enemy. 

That's why Jack said Harry was one of the lucky guys, because he could see Jayden's face firsthand.

"D-daddy.." Ayyara replied with a stammer, she was surprised to see Jayden wearing the mask, her hands shaking, making sure that the girl was scared right now. 

"Yes, baby. Why?"

"I'm so scared, Daddy." Ayyara replied, she immediately hugged Jayden. He was really scared at the moment. The girl had never heard or seen anyone playing a firearm, but this was actually right behind her car. He can see it from the rear view mirror.

"No problem, baby. Don't be afraid, I'm here." Jayden. The two were even cool to hug, making Jack press the horn several times. Because his current condition is really not right. In the midst of a precarious situation like this, they could still make out? Gosh, it's really outrageous isn't it?

"Hurry, in!" Pinta Jack, Jayden immediately pushed Ayyara into the car. 

"Daddy, what's going on?"

"Later, Daddy explained. Now we have to go avoid those people." Jayden replied, Ayyara said she no longer asked. What matters is that he came home safe. 

Jayden drove his car at high speed, Jack also contacted additional men to escort them. His situation was really urgent at this time, they could have lost. But Jack has to admit that the enemy is starting to show his fangs. They dared to attack blatantly on the streets, leaving Jayden and Jack quite surprised. 

They were grateful that Jayden had decided to escort Ayyara out of fear that this would happen. And sure enough, the thing that Jayden was afraid of actually happened. Like his Jayden already had an inner bond that made his heart could sense there was his danger threatening his girl. 

The man was driving Ayyara's car at high speed, but unfortunately the girl's car was not the type of car that was usually driven. Ayyara closed her eyes, especially when she heard some gunshots that could be made sure it came from Jack's weapon. 

"Dad's.."

"It's okay, honey. Just close your eyes, cover your ears, don't see or hear what's going on outside, baby." Answer Jayden. He focused on driving his car. 

After the situation in the sense of security, then Jayden invited his girl to go home. With trembling steps the girl walked out of the car, they parted in a small alley towards the house belonging to Ayyara's parents. 

"Daddy, who are they?"

"Daddy's enemy, baby." Jayden replied that made Ayyara round her eyes. He was afraid, especially if he had to deal with the enemy of the man. 

"I'm scared, Dad."

"Don't be afraid, there's Daddy who will always accompany you, baby." Jayden answered while pulling Ayyara into his arms. 

"Of course, baby. I'm promise."

"Please promise me Daddy's gonna be okay, too."

"Yes, Daddy will be fine to protect you, baby." Jayden answered, gently rubbing the girl's head.

"Well, then I'll go home first?"

"Yes, baby."

"Daddy also come home soon and be careful on the way."

"Sure, dear." Jayden replied, Ayyara got back in the car and drove her away from Jayden.

Jayden took his cell phone, then contacted one of his men who disguised themselves as a meatball yesterday. 

'Hallo, sir.'

"My girl just left, keep an eye on her. Don't miss it, remember it." Firm Jayden.

'OK, sir.' His reply, Jayden frowned when he heard other voices coming into the phone, even sounding like a crowd.

"Where are you?"

'I'm running my role as a meatball in Miss Ayyara's estate, sir.'

"Why do so many people sound there?"

'This is a lot to buy, sir. Then I turn it off first yes, this is a lot of complaints because the meatballs are old.'

"Ohh, okay." The call is completed. Jayden stared at the screen of his phone that was still on, then he shook his head slowly. 

"Like her, she'll have a side job after this mission. Apart from being my bodyguard and my men, he will also be a meatball." Jayden murmured while chuckling. 

"Hey, let's go back." Take Jack, Jayden nodded and got into the sedan driven by Jack. The man sat down with the herd on the empty chair that was beside Jack.

"Jay.."

"Yes." Yeah." Jayden replied briefly. He was focused flatly forward, Jack guessing that Jayden must have been thinking about what happened a few minutes before. Where the girl almost became a prisoner of the enemy, if only they did not escort her. 

"You must add your men to watch the enemy's movements and keep Ayyara from the enemy." 

"Yes, I've done it, Jack. But I wonder why I was lost? Where are our men who are always with Ayyara?" Jayden's questioning made Jack rethink the possibility that could happen. 

"Like her, they were knocked out by the men before following Ayyara's car, Jay. Now, we have to play more neat."

"Hmmm, just set Jack up. I won't be able to forgive myself until Ayyara gets hurt." Jayden.

"Alright, I'll coordinate all this with the kids later. You can rest and tomorrow, it's my turn to rest, deal?"

"Yeah, deal Jack. Thanks, because you can always count on." 

"Of course, it's not an easy thing to be your confidant, Jay." Jack replied with a laugh. As for Jayden, he just looked at Jack then glared to the side. 

His head was filled with all possibilities, including who was the mastermind of this attack? He did have many enemies, so he did not know which enemies were starting to show their movements.

True to Jack's remark that day, the enemy will definitely utilize Ayyara as his weak point. Because, from his behavior, everyone knows that Jayden really loves his girl, so if they make Ayyara as a prisoner, they were sure Jayden would come out of hiding or even he admitted his defeat.
