Chapter 54: Konohagakure

First year of Konohagakure,

The newly established Konohagakure already bears a resemblance to its future counterpart. A slightly familiar street light and familiar scenery began to mask Masahiko's memory.

Masahiko was wandering around the newly built village. Given that Hashirama and Madara stood at the future Hokage Stone, and with open arms, they announced Konohagakure's official establishment and welcomed the dawn of a new era.

As for why Masahiko was chosen and not Patriarch Uzumaki because the former had to be in the clan all the time to manage his affairs.

It was shocking to see Masahiko had become a member of the elders. The group of elders already had Madara as a Kage-level powerhouse, so they chose Masahiko mainly because of his excellent relationship with Shimura and Sarutobi.
