Chapter 199: I Will Bring Them Both

Uzumaki Cemetery.

Masahiko personally presided over Gensuke's funeral.

Gensuke likes to rule, but never acts as Daimyo; he is more like “Patriark” from the Land of Whirlpools. He doesn't mind dealing with people's affairs, relocation, planting, and of course, the economy. He did everything himself and never relied on anyone but the Patrol Team protecting him. Yuriko was the Patriarch of the clan, so the two had to work together, even though they were always fighting.

Initially, it was decided that Yuriko was the one who was going to host the funeral, but then, when Masahiko saw how many civilians were grieving when they heard of Gensuke's death, it was not, he suddenly realized how he had really made a good name and reputation.The country for many years and decided to lead personally.

“Grandfather, am I selfish for staying in Konoha all the time to be with Minato?”

Masahiko was surprised; he really did not expect him to ask such a question.

“As the daughter of this country, you have your own responsibility, but you cannot sacrifice your own happiness.”

Masahiko shook his head, “ Being a Daimyo is very difficult for Gensuke, but this is the life he always wanted, he chose to live it, and he does not regret it in the end.”

“If you marry Minato, you will be happy, and you will also make the relationship between Konoha and Uzumaki closer.”

“If this is considered selfish, then Mito is the most selfish person. As Uzumaki's daughter, she married Hashirama and has lived happily ever since. Masahiko nodded, “After all, Mito is old, Konoha needs to find the next Jinchuriki Kyuubi. Your body is fine, so I tell you the story.”

“Is that so?” Kushina sighed, “Then who kidnapped me..”.

“It was Anbu.”

Masahiko sighed deeply, then smiled and nodded, “Then, you really have to work harder. I really hope to see that day.”

He really wanted to see it. It would be very interesting and exciting to see what kind of expression Hiruzen would have when that happened. As for the plot, Naruto will be born smoothly in the end. He couldn't ask for more, but for now, step by step.
