Nadine and Nathan

Nadine and Nathan
#51

Nathan was sitting on a basketball court and scrolling his instagram feed on his phone.

"Although his appearance is not as good as the papa, but Nathan Grahita's ability to play basketball deserves a thumbs up. At least, the seventeen-year-old youth has succeeded in bringing Putra Garuda club to become the 3x3 champion this year. Maybe the big name of the club is also a burden for Nathan, until finally the young man tries hard and gives his best for the club. Congratulations to you, Nathan!"

A review with a photo of Nathan dunking in the final of the 3x3 competition last week, quite caught Nathan's attention.

The young man smiled wryly as he read the reviews that at first glance seemed to praise it. There was a big satire in the review that made Nathan's heart feel furious.

Why are they still comparing Nathan's ability to that of his father?

"Nathan!" Christian pat Nathan on the shoulder and made the young man jump in shock.

"Hi Chris, have you come?" Nathan tried to cover up his nervousness.

"Dreaming?" Guess Christian who is now sitting in front of Nathan.

Nathan showed Christian a review of himself on the screen.

Christian read it for a moment and smiled faintly.

"Make it a spirit, Nath! Don't think too much!" Christian's wise advice.

"To be honest, I prefer to be criticized spicy rather than given praise as high as the sky but the edges are only compared to my papa," Nathan said.

"It was as if all my achievements in the world of basketball were just because of the shadows and the big name of my papa,"

"I've been working hard all this time. There's never been any interference in my career at the club..."

"But still, no matter how big my efforts like no one saw it," concluded Nathan who again smiled wryly.

Christian patted his best friend on the back,

"I saw it, Nathan. You're gonna be a better player than coach Dion someday,"

"And when all that comes, everyone will be able to see that Nathan Grahita is indeed a talented player" said Christian thinking positively.

Nathan smiled at Christian,

"You've been like Nadine for a long time" Nathan said, chuckling.

"I was inspired by your twin brother" Christian chuckled.

"I think Nadine is better suited to be a motivator than a basketball athlete" Nathan said.

Christian agreed

"But I'm still wondering, what's the status of your relationship? You guys dating?" Ask Nathan kepo.

Christian shook his head, though,

"We're just friends, Nath!" Christian Struggles.

"Friends but friendly, huh?" Goda Nathan nosy.

"Why don't you just shoot Nadine, then you guys are made again," Nathan added.

Christian shook his head again,

"I think Nadine was a little traumatized by our courtship status" Christian laughed.

"You mean he's afraid that there'll be another word of broken between you?" Guess Nathan guessed.

Christian nodded, though,

"At this time we were both comfortable as friends. So we are friends, after all if it is a soul mate there must be a way," added Christian confident.

Nathan clapped Christian, though,

"Get good on you, Chris! Already thinking about a soul mate and marriage," Nathan said as he chuckled.

Christian blushed in embarrassment and scratched his non-itchy head.

"Udahlah! Let's practice!" Aja Christian diverts the conversation.

The young man stood up and immediately picked up the basketball. Nathan got up and immediately warmed up lightly before starting to practice.

"In the near future LDR dong," said Nathan who is now dribble the ball.

Chris stood in front of Nathan and tried to block the young man.

"Who?" Tanya Christian put on a plain face.

"You and Nadine. Who have we been talking about since?" Nathan turned his body.

Shot in!

Christian clucked in annoyance, as his focus was a little sidetracked as Nathan invited him over for a chat.

"You cheated!" Christian's grouse who now took the ball.

"Cheat where?" Nathan asked without sin.

"You keep talking to me. My focus is gone" complained Christian who now dribble the ball towards the ring.

Nathan drove off quickly. But Chris managed to dodge, and passed Nathan.

But when Chris was about to make a shot, Chris only realized that the ball had been moved into the hands of Nathan.

Oye!

When did the ball get Nathan?

Wasn't Chris still playing?

Nathan chuckled at Christian's puzzled expression. The young man returned to shooting from outside the line.

Enter again!

"Focus, Chris! Nadine is still cooking inside. Need me to call?" Temptation Nathan on Christian who now holds the ball back.

"Don't cheat that way!" Christian's grouse was feeling bad.

The young man immediately dribble the ball quickly towards the ring and perform a lay up.

Logging in!

"Haha!" Nathan chuckled as he lay down his body on the court floor.

"I really don't know if a Nadine could make Christian lose focus" Nathan exclaimed.

"Shut up!" Christian hits Nathan on the shoulder and slips his body on the court floor.

"You don't want to say thanks to me, Chris?" Nathan asked as he looked at the cloudy sky today.

"Thank you for what?" Christian did not understand.

"Thank you because I already made you move to Pelita High School and so get to know Nadine. Try that time you do not have to move, it is impossible that you know Nadine Princess Grahita," replied Nathan in a pretentious tone.

Christian chuckles, though,

"Basic!"

"Why don't you guys practice and even fall asleep in this court?" Nadine had stood up and ruffled her waist in front of the two men.

"Look, Chris! Your angel has come" Nathan said, laughing.

Christian immediately got up and sat down while staring at Nadine who this afternoon was wearing a loose t-shirt and knee-length pants. The girl's hair was smeared.

"Afrom the stray in court?" Timpal Nadine was laughing.

"You're beautiful, Nad!" Christian was still staring at Nadine.

"Buck!" Nadine throws the basketball at Christian.

The young man caught him swiftly.

"You wanna play?" Ask Christian who is standing up.

"Come on!" Nadine answered excitedly.

Christian throws the ball at Nadine and the two teenagers play one on one at the minicourt.

Nathan chose to pull over and become a spectator only.

Until the sky went dark, the three teenagers were still engrossed in playing basketball in the yard.
