Time doesn't seem to pass quickly, Aaron is still with his lies. But the more time passes the more Aaron feels guilty for deceiving the family that has been kind to him, even though he lied for the common good.

Not to mention just this new Lucas moved his company's hands into Aaron's, on the grounds that Lucas could no longer take care of his two companies and his father's large company clearly had many branches at once.
