THIRTY

Cherryl has not been able to escape Markus since Mark's return.

Cherryl's birthday party is over, and the night is getting late. When it was time for Cherryl to go to sleep, Markus left. Go home to her parents.

Cherryl forbids, saying he wants to sleep with Mark. The thing he had been dreaming of. Sleeping in Papa Mark's arms.

Markus agrees, but it seems that all of that has not been satisfactory for Cherryl.

The little girl kept what she said, she wanted to show off her Papa to her friend's friend.

Cherryl goes to the playground with his Papa, accidentally spoiled with Markus in front of his friend's friend. Cherryl wants to show that he also has Papa. It's not just them who have it.

Cherryl is happy to finally spend time with Markus. But Cherryl was sad, because Markus did not live in a house with him.

He had to separate from his Papa. Although Markus lives next door still it does not make Cherryl satisfied.

Cherryl wants to like her friend's friend, Papa and her Mama living together. Eat together, go for a walk together.

Instead of keeping her alternating like this, this was not what Cherryl expected.

“Papa Markus sleeping here again yes like last night.” Cherryl pleads for Mark to stay here again, Cherryl wants to wake up Papa and Mama, have breakfast with Papa and Mama and play with Papa and Mama.

“Cherryl dear, Papa is not far away. If Cherryl misses Papa, or wants something Cherryl can come to Oma Sabrina's house, Papa is there.”

Cherryl pouted, that's not what she wanted. But Cherryl also can not be stubborn and impose his will.

If he's naughty, maybe Markus will go again. Cherryl doesn't want to be away from her Papa anymore.

Cherryl simply nodded even though his heart was unwilling. He had to release his Papa back to Oma Sabrina's house.

When Mark was gone, Cherryl turned and ran towards Adara. Hugged Adara's feet and cried there.

“Mama.. Why doesn't Papa stay with us? Why go home to Oma Sabrina? Papa Mama Andrew lives the same, but why Mama and Papa Cherryl?”

Adara let out a heavy sigh, she did not know what to say to her daughter. There's no way Adara could have said that he and Mark had nothing to do with it. And shouldn't stay together.

Adara just kept quiet, patting Cherryl on the back. I wish it would calm Cherryl down.

Aaron returns to get a visit from Clara, his former mother-in-law.

But this time Clara came bearing news that either Aaron himself could not say it was good news or bad news for him.

Markus is back. Cherryl loved Markus.

Of course, Markus is his real father. It is clear that Cherryl loves Markus.

Aaron's own prison term is not long, soon he can breathe free air.

But in Aaron's heart, he asked. For what he is free if he will only see his loved ones happy with others.

Aaron knows that Adara and Markus are not together, but Aaron knows himself. If he kept fighting for Adara, he would only end up losing.

Markus would have won.

First because Markus is Cherryl's real father.

Second, because Markus has more place in Adara's heart than Aaron.

Aaron knew it because if not with the plan he had so far Adara would never have seen him as a man, Dimata Adara himself is just a friend.

But with Markus? Aaron could feel his difference when Adara told him about Markus. Adara continues to say that she hates Mark, but Aaron knows that Adara actually loves Mark. It was just that it was all covered by his anger, disappointment, and also his own selfishness.

“What do you think Aaron?” clara asked because she saw Aaron daydreaming. “You think of Cherryl?”

Aaron just nodded his head.

Clara smiled gently, “You don't have to worry, we don't plan to cover up about you to Cherryl. Someday we will explain about you, and when you are free later you can meet him and play with him like before.” Clara looked at Aaron with an affectionate gaze, “Listen to me Aaron, you did make a mistake. It's okay if you can fix everything, even if you're no longer my daughter-in-law. You're my brother's adopted son, meaning you're my nephew. Ah no. You're my son too, no matter how you're still my son. So don't think about anything, and start a new life by becoming a better Aaron, understand?”

Aaron nodded his head while holding back tears, he was still given a chance, given a place by people he had lied to. If Aaron knew he'd be well received in this family, Aaron wouldn't have done that stupid thing.

A stupid thing that hurt a lot of people.
