My Ottoman Girl

My Ottoman Girl
Looking at the other side of life

Tonight I'm so nervous, these eyes don't want to be closed at all. What's up ? Is it because in 3 days I will meet my soulmate? But I went back to daydreaming about my meeting with Dr. Sam a few days ago with Dr. Intan SpS, at that time I invited him to lunch together at my restaurant. I also invite Zein to accompany me so that I do not look like the person**** when he heard the explanation of the two of him about the medical world.

Dr. Intan seems pessimistic to hear my story. Because Aygul's paralysis has been around for about two years. And it's been in therapy in some countries that have more sophisticated technology. Germany and Turkey . But Zen was able to make me muffle my grief.

After returning home from lunch Zein took me to the mosque close to Pondok Pesantren in the area of his official home.

" Bro, Man can only try but Allah SWT also the one who heals and determines the fate of Aygul can walk again or not. If Allah SWT has said Kun Fayakun then "BE IT!" Then it will all happen! See....It is as easy as the palm of God Himself to restore everything as the beginning ! Our hearts, our minds, and all our lives leave it to Allah SWT. Don't hesitate to ask for, beg, cry and leave our whole lives to HIS. This race, this excuse, this thought and all that we have belongs to Allah SWT. So do not hesitate to give all our affairs to Allah SWT. Bi idznillah everything will be fine. "

I contemplated listening to all his advice after we finished the sublime prayer.

There was a calmness in the intonation of his voice that made me feel like I found Oase in the middle of the Sahara desert.

I immediately begged Allah for forgiveness SWT why I became so pessimistic when the verdict of a man. I still have a greater power that can heal all of Him. So I just leave all this business to Him and don't despair again.

"Let's introduce you to the babysitter of the boarding school plus the orphanage and the pharaoh here. His name is Abah Hambali. Maybe you can calm down there" asked Zein after we finished discussing at length.

We went to the boarding house on foot. I parked my car in Zein's yard. Zein used to take me shopping at the grocery store in front of his house.

"Zein what are you buying? how to get to the grocery store?" many wonder.

Zein smiled.without a word she pressed the bell that was on the wall of the stall owner's house

Tong!

Then an elderly mother came out of the house carrying a plastic package.

" Eh Doctor, what do you want to buy?" his greeting was friendly.

" This ma'am wants to buy 1 bag of rice. Instant noodles 2 dus Cooking oil 10 kg equal 10 kg sugar. Eggs of 5 kg, ma'am. Umay there's a ma'am?" answer Zein

" There was a Doctor for a moment I called. Umay! Umay here is Doctor!" the mother shouted into the house.

Shortly after, a young man wearing a paradise came out wearing a sarong.

" Assalamualaikum Mr Doctor nyari Umay?"ask the young man. Zein nodded

" Umay you bother now? help me take that order to Abah Hambali boarding school !" said Zein

" Prepared, Doctor, Umay, take Trolly first, yes" and the young man goes inside.

Oh it turns out Zein was shopping to give to the orphanage. Subhanallah how noble is the heart of my future brother-in-law. I tried to see what he did first.

Then the mother deftly prepared all Zein's orders.

" Mum's been helping out in total, '" Zein said

"Everything is one million two hundred and fifty thousand rupiah Mr. Doctor"

Then Zein took the money out of the brown envelope that had been in her bag. Then it was given to the mother.

The mother received money from Zein with a glowing face.

"Barokallah, Thank you Doctor, always healthy and much sustenance Yes! " his word again

Before long umay was ready to bring a trolly and all Zein's groceries were inside.

"Ready to the Doctor" said Umay, pushing trolly

" You walk first May, I'm behind you" Zein replied.

The two of us walked together behind Umay towards the orphanage located inside the alley. Indeed, the alley can be passed by the car but must be alternated one by one.

Zein prefers to walk there.

After 10 minutes we had arrived at a house with a simple but clean building. The yard is not so broad covered with 2 mango trees and gravel guava. In front of him is a letter :

Pesantren and Bahrul Ummahat Orphanage.

We entered the fenced-off courtyard and Umay saluted the inhabitants.

A little boy in a cocoa shirt and a sarong came out to meet us.

" Greetings Waalaikum, There is a Doctor please come in" he said as he walked into the house. We're following.

"Please sit down. I'll call Abah first" he told us.

It turned out that after entering the house, the room was wider. The living room without a chair table is only given a green carpet pad. There was a pile of several benches in the corner of the room. Then on the wall there are some photos of the scholars and Habib and 2 large calligraphy pieces. There is a large photo containing a photo of all the pesantren and parlors who are doing activities..

Then a man who was about 60 years old came out. By wearing black gloves and a white robe shirt and white peci.

" Assalamualaikum's chat. Mr Doctor" he said

The three of us stood together and he let us sit down again.

"Waalaikum hail Abah. Introduce this Mas Hafiz to my In-laws." Said Zein. I nodded in accompaniment with a soothing smile from Abah.

" I'm Umay Abah" Umay said

Then Abah laughed as he waved his hand. Si Umay jokingly asked Abah.

"Umay, did Abah know kamubUmay, has he changed his name now?" kekehnya, a row of his teeth that have begun to date visible.

Umay smiled as he closed his mouth.

" Ohya Abah, there is a little bit of sustenance from us, for the children here" said Zein

" Alhamdulillah barokallah Mr. Doctor, may Allah double your sustenance and grant all your hajad."

"Aamiin" We answered in unison

" Umay just put it in there is the Budi and Imam in the kitchen. Umi was still in Musholla has not returned" Abah ordered. Then Umay brought his trolly into the room.

The three of us started chatting and Umay came out with his empty trolly. He asked Permit to leave first because he still wanted to help his mother.

A young man came out carrying 3 cups of warm tea and a plate of steamed cassava. Then he invited us to enjoy the dish.

"I meant to come here to introduce Mas Hafiz to the children in this boarding school. He just got married about 1 month ago. He is currently working to treat his paralyzed wife. We all ask for help do'a to the children so that our efforts are in order by Allah SWT" Zein said smoothly to Abah.

Abah mangosteen while stroking his white beard.

" Mr. Hafiz, sir, We as ordinary people do not escape from all the trials and trials of Allah SWT where every test that will raise our degrees and increase our faith in Him so that we always rely and continue to pray to God without despair. If all we have tried medically, we are waiting for God's answer to all our efforts and prayers. Don't despair. All diseases have a cure except death." As soon as Abah gave me a soothing dish my long-cherished heart.

I bow my head in shame, I am ashamed that all this is worldly that I pursue but I feel less close to the creator. Then Abah continued his tausiah again then he called a santri his .

A 16-year-old boy was sitting in front of Abah.

" Imams, after the Ashar prayer please gather our santri in the musholla. Let us pray for the family of Mr. hafizudin and Mr. doctor together" Abah ordered.

The Santri nodded his head in reverence and soon passed in front of us.

After that we started talking about our lives. Abah tells about the children of the cottage and the orphanage here which amounted to 70 people and most of them are small children.

It did not feel that the ashar adhan had reverberated and Abah invited us to the musholla behind the cottage. Tennyata form this cottage is very broad extending to the back. Behind the main building there are 2 more separate buildings with a high fence and fish pond in the middle there is a musholla that can accommodate 100 people. The Musholla was bound to separate the sons and daughters.

We all gathered to pray and continued with prayer together.

Many children are approximately 20 people who are in primary school and are male. Then 20 more people are teenagers.

" This is the pesantren of our son Mr. Hafiz. And next to the building that we're bordered by the fence and the pool it's a princess boarding school. We deliberately separated this pesantren and each building was supervised by 3 ustadz and ustadzah who guided them in daily activities carefully" Abah explained after we carried out a prayer together.

I was moved to see the life of a very simple pesantren but it brought a cool breeze to my heart. I feel I have the inner strength to continue to be eager to treat my wife.

Before I go home I give an envelope with cash for sodaqoh in this boarding school.

"So please take a little sodaqoh from us. "

She smiled warmly,

" Thank you Mr. Hafiz, Barokallah and may all Hajad and the wishes of the Father of the family be granted Allah SWT. And never despair of all the trials that God gives, remain reliable and effortless"

" God willing, I will return soon with my wife so that she will also study in this boarding school" I replied before we said goodbye
