EP22 Hard to Forget

Elsewhere, Vernon was preparing his requirements for departing for France tomorrow morning. Of course his heart was still very broken, he missed Sofia very much. But he had no other choice.

May you be happy Sofia. I'm gonna miss you.

In the morning, Vernon was seen at the airport accompanied by Anya's mother and Bram's father.

"Are you sure you don't want to tell Sofia?" ask Anya's mother to her youngest child.

"Yes ma. I broke up too, so there's no need to tell him" Vernon said. Yeah, Vernon told his broken relationship to his parents.

"But for sure he will be very sad when he finds out later" said Bram's father.

"No Dad. He must be happy, there's Rey looking after him" Vernon said, looking a little upset when he mentioned Rey's name.

"Well, you be careful there. Let us know when you arrive" Bram's father said.

Vernon finally said goodbye to his parents and immediately entered the waiting room.

In Sofia's place, Sofia looks just woke up with disheveled hair and swollen eyes that have been crying all night. This morning, he seemed discouraged to go to college and decided not to go to college today and chose to sleep back in his bed.

Sofia spends her time in the room. He continued to lie on his bed without intending to do any other activities. His cellphone rang many times, he saw at a glance the name of the caller was Angel and Rey who took turns calling him. For some reason his head was so heavy right now, he had no intention of picking up the phone.

A few hours later, the sound of a car came from outside Sofia's house. Rey and Angel decide to go to Sofia's house because Sofia doesn't pick up the phone.

Rey and Angel try to bang on Sofia's door but no sound comes from inside.

"Are you sure Sofia's inside?" ask Rey to Angel.

"Remain assured, last night I stopped by her house because Sofia was crying and broke up from Vernon" Angel said.

"But Sofia could have gone out early in the morning" Rey said.

"I've known Sofia for a long time, she couldn't have come out if her eyes were so swollen. She must be inside by now, if she's why-why how's Rey?" Angel was worried about her best friend.

Without a second thought Rey immediately broke down the door of Sofia's house. The house looked silent like there were no occupants, with some items strewn across the floor.

Rey and Angel rush to Sofia's room and find Sofia asleep in her bed. They breathe a sigh of relief, it turns out that Sofia is inside the house.

As Angel approaches Sofia, she is shocked that Sofia's body is so hot.

"Rey looks like Sofia's sick. Her body is so hot. We have to get him to the hospital now" Angel said.

Rey who heard about it immediately carried Sofia and took her to the car and headed to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, the doctor immediately examined Sofia. The result turned Sofia exhausted and excessive stress that made her fall ill.

"Vernon, I'm sorry" Sofia suddenly starts to deliriously call Vernon's name in her sleep.

Hearing Sofia calling out Vernon's name makes Rey sad.

Moments later, Sofia opens her eyes and spreads her eyes across the room, and Angel and Rey are next to her.

"This where? am I in the hospital?" sofia asked as she opened her eyes.

"You're sober? yes you are now in the hospital, your body was very hot" said Angel.

"What do you want to eat Sofia? I'll buy him. You must have not eaten since this morning" said Rey.

Suddenly Sofia starts to cry, she remembers the incident last night with Vernon. He felt so stupid to just cut off his relationship with Vernon.

Angel immediately hugged her crying friend. Angel knows this is the first time Sofia feels a breakup, surely her heart is not ready to accept this all.

Rey by the side could do nothing. Had Vernon been close, he might have hit the man for making Sofia suffer like this. Yeah, Rey found out that Vernon left overseas this morning. Last night Rey got a message from Vernon, who told her to take good care of Sofia. Rey decides not to tell Sofia that, so that Sofia does not feel sad anymore.

While in the hospital, Angel and Rey always faithfully accompany Sofia. Sofia recalled that when she was sick, Vernon always took care of her, but now everything is different. He smiled wryly remembering that.

Sofia is finally allowed to go home from the hospital and starts her usual activities. Sofia feels lucky that Rey and Angel are always beside her, so she slowly tries to accept the fact that she is not with Vernon anymore.

Sofia is currently in the park where she once went with Vernon. Sofia decides to go alone, but Angel and Rey offer to join, but Sofia refuses. While in the park, he accidentally meets Joshua, Vernon's older brother.

"Sister Joshua? since when did you come? I think the sister is overseas again" Sofia asked as she watched Joshua pass in front of her.

"Hey Sofia, sorry I didn't see you earlier. I just came by this morning" Joshua replied as he sat next to Sofia.

"So why are you here alone? because Vernon's overseas so you're getting lonely, aren't you?" joshua asks trying to tease Sofia. Joshua did not know that Sofia had broken up with her sister.

"He's going abroad? since when?" Sofia is shocked to hear Vernon is abroad.

"You don't know his girlfriend doesn't know? he left for France 3 days ago"

At that instant Sofia sat down limp, she did not expect Vernon to be that fast away from her. Last night they ended their relationship.

"You why Sofia? you don't have a problem with Vernon, do you?"

"We broke up" said Sofia, her tears flowing again.

"What's? breaking up? why could? Vernon didn't tell me anything"

"Maybe he wants to forget me quickly, brother"

"No, no. Vernon couldn't possibly forget the person he loved just like that. I'd better call him now" Joshua said.

"Don't brother. Don't call him I beg you. Here I'm the wrong sister, I chose to break up, so I'm the one who has to accept the consequences" Sofia prevented.

"Alright then, all the decisions are with you. But if you need anything, don't hesitate to contact your sister"

Sofia nodded. Joshua who could not bear to see Sofia so sad, finally decided to take Sofia home.
