My Imam, my army

My Imam, my army
honesty

Salsa sits in a hospital canteen. He was filling his stomach with a serving of chicken noodles. This morning, Salsa had breakfast with Dirga. However, not until noon, the woman was hungry again. Salsa eat slowly. In the middle of his meal, he suddenly thought of his mother. Her mother hasn't spoken to her in days. Perhaps still in shock from the death that he experienced. Salsa also did not want to disturb the mother. However, Salsa often reminds prayers and dhikr so that the thought of his mother becomes calm. And fortunately, the mother did not. A few days after leaving Salsa's father, the woman and Dirga stayed at Salsa's parents' house.

The woman's appetite was gone. However, he should not throw away his food because of redundancy. As a result, he continued to eat it. He should be thankful that he can still eat. Out there, a lot of people have trouble eating.

Salsa sipped her warm tea. He glanced at his wrist to see what time it was. Because Salsa has an operation schedule in a minute. The hospital where Salsa works, including the area's general hospital. So, not only TNI members are patients here.

Suddenly a man in a white suit like Salsa approached Salsa with a bowl of hot chicken porridge.

"Assynolt, ukhty. Can you come, join me?"

Salsa smiled, "Wa'alaykumsalam doctor Randy. Please" bargained Salsa who was nod by the tall doctor.

"Of all the empty benches, only this empty bench is interesting" joked Dr. Randy with a smile.

"It could be, doc."

They ate while chatting lightly. The topic is not far from the hospital discussion. Dr. Randy is the general surgeon of the military hospital.

Salsa's cell phone ringing. There was a call from Rena and Salsa picked it up.

"Asphalt'alaykum, Ren. Ada, what?"

"Wa'alaykumsalam, free afternoon later, right? I want to drink hot chocolate" said Rena across the street.

Before answering, Salsa thought first, "can be. Clock, how much? Where's?"

"Gue chat is the location."

"OKAY. Yes already. I ate again, "and then Rena ended her phone call by greeting Salsa.

"Who?" Ask Dr. Randy.

"My best friend, doc."

Salsa continued her little meal. When he finished, he immediately paid his respects to Dr. Randy.

Salsa is ready with her operating robe. He washed his hands before entering the operating room. Repeatedly he prayed for ease again to save someone's life this time.

As she enters the operating room, another nurse helps Salsa put on a medical mask for Salsa. This time, Salsa is leading the operation. Salsa was a little surprised, when she saw the assistant who helped her was Randy's doctor. Salsa smilingly nods to greet doctor Randy and is countered by doctor Randy. They will be a solid team in operation this time around.

The operation process is very long. Sure stressful. But they cannot panic. They will try as hard as possible to save the patient. However, if Allah has outlined his destiny to return home, the medical staff can do nothing. For the living will feel dead. We also do not know when we will be divorced by a world that is only a moment. He was asked by the angel of death to marry him to death. There are only remnants of regret for what was done in the world. When the spirit parted with the body, there was no more opportunity to plant the seed of charity. And many of these spirits regret returning to the world to give alms and to be good people. So, use your time as best you can to find the provision of the afterlife before it is too late.

The best friend who always reminds the afterlife is death. He always comes, wherever man is. Death never reneged on his promise not to come.

Some medical staff expressed great gratitude to Allah swt. because, with His permission, the operation went smoothly.

Salsa took off her operating robe and washed her hands.

"Good job, Doctor Salsa," said Randy, who washed his hands next to the Salsa sink.

"Thank God, God has made it easy for all of us" Salsa said, smiling. Dr. Randy smiled as well.

"I go first, doc," said Salsa after washing her hands. He came out of the operating room and walked into his room. Salsa needs a little rest for her brain. He walked down the hospital hallway to his room. As he continued walking, he picked up his phone which was in his pocket.

He saw three missed calls and two messages from Dirga. Salsa opened the message. It turned out that Dirga had invited him to perform congregational prayers at the mosque. Salsa uttered the istighfar because he did not tell Dirga beforehand if he had an operation this afternoon. Salsa glanced at her sweet circular watch on her wrist, a little more the dhuhur prayer time would run out, soon she ran towards her room to clean her body and perform the dhuhur prayer alone in her room. He sent a message to Dirga.

After reaching his room, he immediately cleaned himself and immediately performed his prayers.

After the prayer, Salsa prayed. The woman's heart was troubled and felt guilt again. A few days ago, Dirga asked about her feelings.

How, Sal? You're starting to like me, haven't you?

Of course Salsa clearly remembered Dirga's question sentence. At that time, Salsa did not immediately answer the question because he was daydreaming. However, he decided his own feelings.

Nah!

Salsa shook her head for the answer to Dirga's question. Yep! Salsa did not want to confess her own feelings. The guilt kept haunting him. Unexpectedly, Salsa thought that Dirga would be angry or disappointed in him, but Dirga instead gently stroked the top of Salsa's head.

I've decided to make you happy, Sal. Whatever happens I will do my best to be your priest. Even though, you don't like me yet. No papa, the course of time can change someone. Who knows, tomorrow you will love me more.

Salsa smiled to herself remembering that sentence.
