It was more than two days after the departure of both Salsa parents to Makassar. If both parents have arrived in Makassar, Salsa's phone should have been picked up. Or his mother had warned him when he arrived. But the result is nil. Salsa was holding her phone, hoping for a reply from her parents. But still nothing!
Salsa sat on the bench of her house staring at the rain that was falling not too heavy. While holding a tasbih in his clasped hands.
Seeing her garden yard wet with rainwater made Salsa understand that rain was a blessing. Blessings to living beings.
"Don't daydream," suddenly a baritone voice rang out in Salsa's ear.
Dirga puts a glass of hot chocolate on Salsa. In the Salsa cup, Dirga added sweets to Salsa. Salsa still had not responded to Dirga.
"The living man will die. We as beings can only surrender to God" Dirga said after sitting on the bench next to Salsa. The man was well aware of Salsa's current condition.
Salsa is still in her position.
"My master saw once said to me like this Sal-" said Dirga paused his sentence briefly to stare at Salsa before continuing his words, "carefully determining the conduct of each action. If his heart is good, his words are soothing. However, if the heart is cloudy, lust breaks the word," continued Dirga gently while still staring at Salsa who still remained in his position. Two days ago, Salsa ate nothing. Dirga had to force Salsa to eat her so that her body would always get energy. But the woman refused.
"I want you to stay calm and not get carried away by your lusts. Always think positively of God. We have lost someone we love, so it is God's destiny. And behind it all, there must be an extraordinary plan of God. Which you cannot guess. I am sure that God has always prepared great things for His servant who has gone through difficult times" said Dirga, extending his hand to draw Salsa closer to him. Salsa said the woman rested her head on Dirga's warm shoulders.
Dirga stroked the top of Salsa's head gently. He knows for sure if Salsa needs a firm shoulder to lean on.
"God will not allow His servant to remember and ask Him. Stay calm and patient, until God solves all your problems and affairs. Learn sure," Dirga back said.
Salsa's heart melted a little because of Dirga's true speech. He almost doubted God. Salsa will be deceived if he acts according to his will.
"Sak Angkasa," called Salsa down. Whether it gets the guts from where, at this time Salsa's clasped hands tightly Dirga's big hands. Their fingers are linking to each other. As if, Salsa was looking for strength in that burly, warm hand.
"Yes, Salsa?" Dirga asked softly as she tightened her hands to give strength to his wife.
"Aren't you going to do it, me?"
Dirga scrunched his forehead.
"Where?"
"My antennae" said Salsa again. Then the woman got up from her seat. Salsa took Dirga's hand to tell her to get up. Dirga according.
Salsa dragged Dirga towards the car garage. He told Dirga to drive his car. Dirga had asked the woman several times for her purpose, but Salsa remained silent and only showed her the way. Dirga resigned and followed what Salsa said. In the car, silence is the soundtrack. Without turning on the music, they vanished into silence.
They traveled a long way. However, Dirga was suspicious of the direction his wife was heading. Like the way to the port.
"Why go to port?"
Salsa was silent. Until they reach a free place to see the sky that is cloudy with rain. A large place. Can see the sky as much as possible because there is no tall building that covers the cloudy sky. They could see the waves of the sea with satisfaction. Salsa told Dirga to pull over his car on the edge of the sea that was bordering the fence. The weather was raining.
Salsa opened the car door. When he wanted to get out of the car, Salsa's hand was cheated by Dirga.
"Sal, you're still sane, right?" Dirga asked while blocking Salsa's wrist.
Salsa only. Nodding his head. He let go of Dirga's hand and came out without an umbrella. Salsa took something in the back trunk of the car. There was a small tire in the trunk.
While Dirga who was worried, immediately came down through the rain along with Salsa. He was confused to see Salsa carrying a tire to swim.
Salsa walked to the edge of the sea guardrail while carrying the tire. Dirga followed in his footsteps. The man was just watching Salsa.
Salsa dropped the tire into the sea saying, "this is for my father. Quickly go home with that tire. Salsa wait here, yes," Salsa said with a wry smile. The woman's eyes looked at the tire that was bobbing because of the slightly large sea waves.
Dirga who witnessed that, was stunned for a moment. His heart looked at his wife like that. He approached Salsa and hugged her tightly under the rain.
The woman had not returned Dirga's embrace and remained in her starting position.
"Dad mother cepet come back here! Salsa has brought a swimming tire, so that the same father can return!" Salsa said slightly raising her voice. Which makes Dirga increasingly embrace women who have been soaked like himself.
"Salsa wait here until the same mother's father back make the swimsuit. Don't be long, Salsa will miss! Same mom can swim, right? Yes, go home soon! Don't play it long, Salsa will miss!" Salsa. That woman is no longer strong. He shed his tears profusely in the added rain.
"MOTHER MOTHER GOES HOME!!! DON'T PLAY IT FOR LONG!" Salsa screamed again while crying. He hit the chest of Dirga's field hard. Dirga was just silent, if it could satisfy Salsa, Dirga willingly beat up the woman who was crying at this time.
"Silver Space, why did all this happen?!" he said a little loudly. He continued to cry in Dirga's warm embrace. Dirga was shocked to see his wife who was hit by the plane crash.
"That's hoax news, isn't it, brother?" ask her again by crying.
Don't ask how Salsa is feeling right now. Crushed to pieces like a falling glass.
"There is no genuine love other than the love of the mother for her child. No do'a is hindered except the mother's do'a to her child. So for a child obey his words while there, love him, and take care of himself. For when his face has turned cold, no blood will flow, you will be aware. How much your mother suffered up there when you wept over her disappearance" said Dirga under the rain.
Dirga held Salsa tightly, trying to channel positive energy to his wife. Sometimes he kissed the top of his wife's head with love.
With darling?
