Chapter 35

     Wildy was so relieved to see Dinda's presence. "What are you doing, it's okay?" ask Wildy worriedly.

     "It's okay. Haven't started the meeting?"

     "Yes, still waiting for the arrival of the main CEO. I don't know where he is. It's been almost 2 hours, we're waiting."

     "Well, we'll wait. Get me a drink, Wil. I'm thirsty." 

     Wildy takes Dinda out and drinks her handkerchief and wipes the sweat from Dinda's face and neck.

     Dodi and all his assistants entered the room. Everyone stood up to welcome Dodi.

     Wildy is shocked to see Dodi in the room. "He!"

     Dinda beckoned to be quiet and not to continue Wildy's words.

     "Good day everyone. My name is Dodi Darmawan. I am the CEO of Giants Jaya. I expect a good and open performance from all walks of life. Especially the models in every agency child because they are rejecting the company's bullets. So all the facilities for them must be upgraded."

     Dodi glanced at Dinda and sighed then continued the words to encourage everyone's performance.

     Dinda was proud to see the development of Dodi's business but quickly he drove away his admiration. She can't fall in love with Dodi anymore! Big liar!

     If only the woman hadn't spoken to him about the fake police report and the medical tests, it would have been this time, Dinda would have been fooled 2x.

     Dinda had no idea what Dodi was thinking! Does he think he can lie to her and she will soften the heart of accepting Dodi's affair!? No way!

     Dinda laughed cynically because of Dodi's behavior earlier. He almost believed in Dodi. 

     "What's wrong?"

     "There's nothing" replied Dinda so that Wildy could refocus on listening to Dodi's speech.

     That evening we were all invited to dinner together. Actually Dinda was tired and wanted to refuse to come along but everyone persuaded him so he also went along with Wildy.

     In the car, Dinda stops Wildy, who wants to start the car. "I want to talk first."

     Dinda took a breath before telling a story. "I met Dodi in the elevator. He persuaded me to go back to him. He said he was framed."

     "And you believe?!" wildy was frustrated.

    "Almost but he issued evidence of false report letters and medical letters. I knew it all from that woman. We met after that incident. He said Dodi felt guilty for being caught cheating. To cover up the incident Dodi made a police report letter and a fake health letter to make me believe he was framed. Which I don't understand why Dodi should have me if he's got a woman who's willing to give him everything, including his virginity!" dinda felt burning in her emotions.

     "So?"

     "So I told Dodi I was married and pregnant with your baby."

     Wildy's smile spread wide.

     Dinda scratched Wildy's face because she was upset to see Wildy's reaction.

     Wildy laughed again. Cheering triumphantly. "Then we're getting married, aren't we!? I need to arrange all of that with my family ..."

     "Will! There will be no marriage between us! That's just the reason I rejected Dodi. I hope you don't mind."

     Wildy's reaction was sad. "You still love him?"

     Dinda nodded slowly.

     "Although you already know the truth!?"

     "I'm determined to forget about Dodi Wil. Give me some more time."

     "Alright, wife. But first, there's something I have to give you." Wildy took the jewelry box from inside his dashboard. "Then, I'll give you this when you agree to marry me. But I guess right now, you should wear it."

     Dinda opened up Wildy's jewelry box and sighed softly looking at the diamond-studded ring. "That's great, Wil but I'm sorry I can't take it."

     "You can't get married without a ring. Do you want your cipher exposed?" Wildy gives Dinda no chance to turn down her ring. He immediately attached the ring to Dinda's ring finger and also put the other ring in her ring. "How, it fits right!?"

     Dinda could not comment.
