This morning waking up feels different than before. Just so you know, I can't sleep all night. All because I was thinking about my mother, somehow. Last night I was with Mina coming home from the store for dinner at about 10:30 p.m. Then not long after that, I was ready to go to sleep. When Mina closed her eyes, I felt restless and unable to sleep, for some reason I was thinking only of my mother, my mother, and my mother. In fact, I want to hurry in the morning because I want to hear from my mother.
It was only half past seven in the morning and I had already woken up from my sleep. I could fall asleep at five in the morning, because I was so sleepy and forgot everything. Right now my stomach hurts a lot, not like it was yesterday before I had surgery. This is the pain of mules, it seems like this is the effect of dinner last night because of too much food.
It's early in the morning and I'm itching to call my mom. On the flight schedule, my mother will arrive in Indonesia at noon around 12:00 pm. So I just waited for that hour and Jevan promised to call me when they reached Soekarno-Hatta airport. Thank goodness I don't mule anymore, but now that I've had a bowel movement I feel really hungry and want to eat. I remembered the message from my mother that she still had good food in the refrigerator, I immediately took the food. While I wanted breakfast, Mina was still fast asleep probably because she was exhausted all night accompanying me. But when I picked up the food in the fridge, there was a place where the food fell to the floor and made a loud noise so Mina woke up from her sleep.
“Yuri... You want breakfast huh?” Ask Mina.
“Iya, sorry? You woke up because of me hehe..” Answer shy.
“It's okay, it's also noon.” Mina said with a smile.
“Oh yes, we have breakfast first. It.” I said while giving food.
“Thanks.” Answer Mina.
“Oh yes, Yuri. We'll go to college at ten, right? There was a notification earlier.” Said Mina again.
“Good. But uh, it's nine o'clock. After this we get ready huh?” My toot.
“Iya.”
About an hour is a very short time to get ready. Today Mina and I will take care of the preparation papers to get into college. For a long time I have admired and wanted to study at SNU (Seoul National University), and this is my chance to fight to enter the campus. Mina at the college majored in communications, while I was planning to study the same major as Mina. It's not because I want to go along, but I have long wanted the department. I want to be a good reporter, that's how it is. Because Mina knows more about what to take care of to enroll in the campus, therefore I will be directed and escorted by Mina herself.
Mina and I are currently in the apartment parking lot, which means we will be heading to campus soon. My spirit is now mixed with excessive curiosity. I was very happy to be studying at SNU, but on the other hand I was thinking about my mother. My mind is divided right now. Rather than my curiosity being too harsh, I tried to contact Jevan. Who knows, they have arrived in Indonesia. I tried to contact Jevan for a while, but there was no answer and they didn't seem to arrive. Now that Mina and I are on SNU, we will process the files that I brought. My files in the process took about 2 hours more, I can no longer afford hehe, waiting is a boring thing.
“Mina, it's done. Let's go, it's tired I hehe..” I said.
“Oh already? Come onl. Don't want to go around first?” Ask Mina.
“No, ah.” My answer.
“Ya already, come.”
“We go straight home? Lunch first yuk?” Bring Mina.
“Bby..” My answer.
Me and Mina agreed to have lunch at a cafe close to my apartment. We've arrived at the cafe parking lot, haven't set foot out yet, there's an incoming call on my phone.
“Mina, a minute? This is an incoming call from Jevan.” I said.
“Iya, just lift.”
“Hello...Jev?” My toot.
“How, you guys have arrived right? Can I talk to my mom?” Ask again.
“Yuri..”.
“Iya.”
“Iya why, Jev? Where's my mom?”
“Your mother..”.
“Your mother..”.
“Your mother to.celasikan.” Jevan.
“A... what?” My yelling.
“Jevan, don't joke huh? I don't like it!” Shouted again.
“Sorry, Yuri. Your mother and I, upon arriving at the airport, split up in their own taxi. And your mother's taxi was hit by a truck.” Clearly Jevan in a slow tone.
“Jevan!!!! Where is my mom now?” My toot.
“He's in the hospital, with your father. And now your mother.. comma.” Jevan said.
My tears flowed straight away and my call closed.
So this? This is the meaning of all the answers to my feelings all night? Unpleasant feelings always come my way, a feeling of uneasiness and uneasiness as well. Regret now comes to me, why I didn't come home with my mom. If only I had been with my mother, things would not have been like this, I was afraid, so scared. I was afraid of losing my beloved mother. I have to go home today, I don't want to lose it.
“Mina, looks like we're back in the apartment. I want to go back to Indonesia, can you buy me a plane ticket?” I asked while crying.
“Yuri? Aunt why? Is she okay?” Ask Mina.
“My accident book, and now he's in a coma. I have to go home soon, Mina.” I clearly.
“I know, all right. I'll drop you off later.” Mina said.
“Thanks, yes Mina. You are always there for me.” I said.
“Yes already, now you are back to the apartment, and I will book a ticket and take you to the airport.” Mina.
“Iya.”
Long story short with Mina, I am currently taking care of my clothes. It's hard to do all this. My tears kept flowing and my mind was so messed up, whatever made me think badly, always. Mina who was accompanying me from earlier, felt very sad as well. Although he had only known her for a month, he felt very close to my mother. Mina always calmed me down while I was still crying like this, she was a very good friend.
After I finished getting everything done, I headed straight to the airport that was delivered by Mina.
“Yuri, don't cry anymore. Your mother must be okay. Stop crying huh?” Ask Mina.
“How can I stop crying, Mina. You just think, a loved one far from you is hit by a disaster, and it's severe. It pierced my heart deeply, Mina.” Answer me while crying.
“Yes, I understand. I am also saddened to hear this news. But you must calm your heart and mind first, your journey home is far away, Yuri.” Mina said.
“Quiet, yes..” Added.
Not long after I got to the airport, and waited for my flight time. I can't wait to see my mother again, hopefully my mother's condition will improve soon. I can't imagine what if something happened to my mother, I'd be so sorry about all this.
