My Brother's Friend

My Brother's Friend
Brother Jo

Mr. J has just come, this afternoon he wears a red jacket and also black pants while wearing a white hat. Stroll gallantly in the hallway of this hospital while carrying some white plastic bags.

He walked very casually while occasionally replying to the greetings of the nurses who greeted him, a sweet and gentle smile, he said, making anyone who spoke to him feel very happy.

Mr. J then went inside Bang Reza's treatment room, putting his luggage on the room's table.

There he only found Bang Reza who was now leaning on his bed.

"Who are you looking for?" ask Bang Reza to Mr. J who stood up while circulating his gaze throughout the room.

"Aulia is out" said Bang Reza again, and again there was no answer from Mr. J and then back outside of the room.

"Where are you going?" ask Bang Reza again and there is no word from the interlocutor. Making Bang Reza shake his head in confusion with Mr.'s attitude. J

"I don't know what to do now, I don't have that kind of money at all" I still keep my head on Syafa's shoulder. I've told you what I'm going through right now, how Bang Reza is and who accompanied me when I was in this place.

Syafa, who came to visit the hospital this afternoon, has not seen Bang Reza but now he has to hear my story that does not know how else.

Syafa and I are sitting on a bench in a park near Bang Reza's treatment room, a small garden that patients use every morning for walks, strengthen the physical condition of those undergoing treatment.

This park only has one small bench that only fit for three people, on the left and right side of this place is only overgrown by dwarf trees that grow green and densely leafy.

"If only me and my family could help you, I would ask Dad to lend you money, but unfortunately my family's finances are not good either" Syafa replied, then clasped my hand tightly

Syafa, who was originally a girl from a rich family, now had to swallow a bitter pill and feel how difficult it is to live a short life like myself after the family business went bankrupt.

"You don't need to feel guilty like that, I'm already very grateful that you've been willing to listen to my story, want to be friends with me again after what Bang Reza once did to you!" say again.

"I see why Reza is acting like that, if I were in Kak Reza's position I might as well do something like that"

I then pulled my head off Syafa's shoulder and sat down firmly beside him.

"Do you still like my brother?" ask me while looking at him, he did not immediately answer but from his face which is now met red then I can conclude if what I asked has an answer yes.

Not long after, he nodded with a faint smile. I am even more sure if until now Syafa still has the same feelings as a few years ago.

Syafa had liked Bang Reza since he was still Junior High, but since then he had never revealed it and had only kept it all by himself.

I told Bang Reza about it, but Bang Reza didn't say yes or no. He just kept quiet with a smile and I didn't know that smile was a smile as a sign of rejection or acceptance.

"Oh yeah, do you have time tomorrow?" continued

"Where are you going to take me?" Answer Shafa

"The company I went to the Bank, I wanted to take all my savings, maybe not much but at least I have it and just look for the extras!" I told Syafa and he understood.

"Why don't you tell me?" ask Mr. J suddenly, right behind me and also Syafa. I don't know since when he was there, maybe he's heard all the conversations we both had.

Syafa and I looked at each other and then we both looked at each other,

"Mrs. J," said the two of us at the same time

"Let's go back to Reza's treatment room, he was looking for you" said Mr. A again, without answering, I and Syafa then immediately stood up and followed in Mr.'s footsteps. J to the place he mentioned.

"Syafa" he said as the three of us walked into his room.

"Kok is called Syafa, Bang. Me and Mr. J is also here, loh" I teased Bang Reza who is now smiling.

Shafa then nudged my arm while lowering his head, and we sat down together beside Bang Reza's bed.

"Sir Reza, how is Brother doing now?" shafa asked a little timidly, me and Mr. J was just speechless watching those two awkward-looking humans. Bang Reza himself was also somewhat embarrassed. This time Syafa tried to convince himself to talk to Bang Reza, although a moment before he felt doubt whether Bang Reza would talk to him or not

"Thank God, good brother, how are you, yourself,?"

"Good shafa, Brother" Syafa still lowered his head

"Syafa, forgive Brother, yes. During this time Brother has often intimidated you, forbidding you to be with Aulia even though you have been friends since Kindergarten."

"No need to apologize, brother. Syafa knew that Big Brother was going through it all because Big Brother wanted to protect Aulia." Bang Reza nodded and then smiled at the girl in blue and black.

Shafa is getting more and more wrong to see Bang Reza, Mr. J then nudged my feet and gave the code to me to get out of the room and leave the two of them, so that they could chat together. I just nodded and followed Mr. J

A few minutes later, Shafa realized that me and Mr. J has left her alone with Bang Reza. Syafa was about to stand up but suddenly Bang Reza blocked his hand, making Syafa stepped on and more nervous.

"Sit down, we need to talk!" The orders of Bang Reza and Shafa were then seated

"Yes, Brother." Shafa lowered his head again

"If you're talking, look toward the interlocutor. Don't look down like that" Shafa then raised his chin and looked towards Bang Reza.

"Well, like that it's beautiful" The nervousness that Syafa had tried to hide was now no longer able to be weathered, his face looked sweaty and also pseudo red.

Me and Mr. J now back in the park, we also sit back on the bench even though now our sitting distance is not close as when I sat with Syafa.

"Why didn't you tell me that Reza had to be operated on as soon as possible?" ask Mr. J

"I don't want to trouble Mr. J again, all the things that Mr. J doing it now is more than enough. I can't possibly burden Mr. J with something else!" I looked at him who was now looking at me.

"Call me Brother Jo, we're not in school right now"

"Sister Jo"
