My Brother's Friend

My Brother's Friend
Nathan

As I heard my door open, half asleep and half awake, I stood up and stepped out of my room.

I walked towards the living room while sneaking around like a thief, minimizing my footsteps from making a sound

From behind the parapet walls of my living room and room, I then peered towards the door, trying to see who was coming.

"Bang Reza," I said softly, still in hiding. I went back to my room, but before I got there, I suddenly heard something falling.

I paused my intention and immediately returned to peeking, but a very surprising thing happened, there on the living room floor I saw Bang Reza already lying on his stomach. The drowsiness that had enveloped me, now suddenly disappeared after I saw the incident.

I then ran towards him, with an anxious mind and heart.

"Bang, Bang Reza, Bang Reza wake up, Bang!" I said, shaking his body, but he did not open his eyes.

I then lifted Bang Reza's body and slightly dragged him towards the wooden chair not far from where Bang Reza had fainted.

I leaned Bang Reza there, and I ran to my room to find something, soon I came back with the eucalyptus oil that I was going to use to try to wake Bang Reza. I stepped into my room, then opened the locker of the wooden cabinet that was beside my bed and picked up something.

"Bang Reza, get up!" I said while applying the oil on the temple and also the nose of Bang Reza, while occasionally massaging his head which was now filled with sweat. Bang Reza's hands and body also felt colder, colder than before I returned from my room.

Concerns and panic intensified after Bang Reza never woke up. I became scared and confused, having to seek help to where, and now it was midnight.

I also intend to go outside and ask for help from Mak Inah, a neighbor of the next house who has long lived there. I opened the door to my house. However, before I stepped up and opened the door, I heard Bang Reza's phone ringing.

"Who the hell, these nights, don't know what other emergencies like this are!" I was a little upset and then approached again towards Bang Reza.

I then picked up the thing that kept ringing in the pocket of the jacket that Bang Reza was wearing tonight, a black jacket that was jumbo-sized.

"Nathan," I read the name on Bang Reza's phone screen,

Without a second thought, I then raised the call, who knows he can help me in an emergency like this.

"Assalamualaikum, please help us no, Bang Reza is currently unconscious and we don't know who to ask for help!" I said it quickly and then turned off the call before he answered all my words.

After the call was interrupted, I then returned to Bang Reza, trying to wake her up again by applying eucalyptus oil that I took from my room.

About five minutes later, I heard someone knocking on the door, I asked him to come in because the door wasn't in the lock.

Someone in a red jacket and black pants then entered, I then called out to him and he approached towards me and also Bang Reza.

"Mrs. J," when I realized that someone was Mr. J. I then thought, why did he come these nights. Or, Nathan who had contacted Bang Reza was Jonathan aka Mr. J. I don't know, whoever he is now is definitely not the time to think about it because the important thing is to take Bang Reza to the nearest hospital.

"Let's take Reza to the hospital quickly" he said after arriving in front of me who was still trying to wake Bang Reza. Mr. J immediately grabbed Bang Reza's body and took him into the red car that was now parked in front of my house. I followed them too.

I then sat on the back bench trying to wake Bang Reza, who was getting cold and sweaty.

All the way to the hospital, there was no conversation between me and Mr. J. He still continues to focus on steering control and drive his car at a fairly fast pace.

Mr. J then immediately memapah Bang Reza who was then assisted by several Sisters who had brought a medical equipment and brought it directly to the ER.

Mr. J and I were not allowed in there and we were asked to wait outside the room.

"Thank you, Mr. J" I then sat in a waiting chair lined up neatly along the room.

"Together, what really happened, why did Reza suddenly faint?" Mr. J sat down and is now next to me.

I then recounted the incident that happened tonight, he just kept quiet and nodded while continuing to listen to my story. I then leaned my body on the iron chair, while occasionally wiping away the sweat that was now soaking my face, due to the panic and also the worry I was experiencing.

"Don't cry, Reza's already got treatment from the Doctor" Mr. J said that while rubbing my head, I then turned to look at him.

"My tears are dry, we've both had quite a lot of trouble like this, it's nothing new!"

Mr. J looked at me confused, he didn't know what I meant.

"The two of us have been in a lot of trouble since both of our parents died, Bang Reza had to work hard for both of us. I also have to keep my distance from everyone because since then, Bang Reza has never allowed me to interact with anyone!" obviously I'm at length on Mr. J.

I also don't know why I told him, but I just knew him. I've never spoken to a stranger, because again the main reason is Bang Reza. This is the first time in nearly five years.

"I don't know if Reza has had a difficult life story, because as long as I've known her, I've never heard her complain or anything like that, she's just working and studying hard" Mr. J also resuscitated his body in the chair while staring at the ceiling of the place.

"Since when Mr. J knows him?" continued

"Over the last five years, I've known him when he helped me escape the criminals who were going to arrest me, he took me off on his bike and drove me to hide somewhere and after that I asked him to work at my restaurant, because at that time he said he was looking for a job." explained Mr. J length is wide

"Oh, so Bang Reza works at your place"

"Yes, he is very enterprising and also diligent. His performance didn't interfere with his college grades, I'm really amazed"

"He's good at everything, but I'm not. I've only been a burden on her life, so she has to be like this and have a hard time!" I said while breathing a rough breath.
