Episode 20: Bismillah #2

“Eve?”call someone who makes Eve look straight at you.  Eve knew who called her. That voice

very familiar in his ears. And he's sure he's not the wrong guy.

It was chris.

”Iya brother. What's up?” ask Eve politely.

“You.... are you now wearing hijab?”

“Iya kak.”

“Honestly, you're still pretty with whatever you're wearing. Congratulations on the guidance you got,” Chris reached out his hand to Eve to shake her hand. Eve cupped her hands and smiled kindly. Chris was stunned, immediately he put his hand down, misbehaving.

“Eee. I have basketball practice. Take care of yourself, Eve. Tell me if you need anything, I'll help you,” Chris said. Eve nodded and smiled kindly, then let Chris pass immediately.

Eve enters her classroom, she puts down her bag. Then he swept the whole class with his eyes. Some greeted him, but were only briefed and given a smile. Eve's looking for Anna.

There was no Anna in the class. Eve thinks hard about where Anna is. Then he asked one of his friends who was busy studying, seen from the pile of books – thick books and – papers scattered. Eve asks if she saw Anna.

“I don't know, Eve. Yesterday I heard he skipped physics class. Maybe it was, when the apple came yesterday. But when he studied physics until he came home from school he did not come back. He had a lot to talk about, even the school contacted his parents. But after her parents contacted her, Anna picked up the phone. He said that he was just tired of studying, and he promised to keep learning today. But from earlier I did not see it coming.”

“Indeed she was right – true strange girl. You shouldn't be friends with him anymore, Eve. Look now, he's right – do as he pleases. He casually ditched while the subjects were in progress and wandered off somewhere. He was right – right sucks.”

“Where are you going Eve?”

“Eeeh. After that I'm going to the library. Later when the bell rings I will definitely come back.”

”Ooh... is that so? Yes already. Liver – hearts well. Oh yes, do not forget later after school we will have a group study. And we're one group, Eve! I'm so happy to be in a group with a smart guy like you. I'm also very grateful not to be in a group with Anna. He should have just moved schools

so I can breathe a sigh of relief. I always feel unsettled when learning there is a group division, I do not want a group with him.”.

He immediately lowered his head and let out his vomit. Somehow he felt nauseous arriving –

Eve immediately washed her face with water. Then he wiped his face with a tissue that was already available in the toilet. Eve looked at her pale back face. His heart felt ungodly.

Eve put on her hijab when she washed her face. He stepped his foot out of the toilet.

By saying bismillah, he assured her that Anna must have come today. He prayed that his guess would not be wrong.

Assalamualaikum reader My best friend. Sorry well, because the end of this final – Author rarely updates. The end of this final – Author is very busy and maybe Author only updates the story when the free time or weekend.

The author usually eats right away, watches television for a while, then immediately breaks when it makes sure all the work is done.
