Venus is pregnant. This news should bring happiness to General Virendra, but the fact that Venus' second pregnancy is at risk certainly makes General Virendra upset.

Venus already knew this because General Virendra first told. However, everything that has happened Venus considers as a gift from God. Whatever happens, Venus hopes for the best for her and General Virendra.

"Dreaming?" ask Aunt Martha who was sitting in front of Venus.

Aunt Martha had just finished accompanying Varest to play and now the boy was asleep from exhaustion.

Venus sighed softly before making a sound, "according to Auntie, what should Venus do?"

"Auntie doesn't know what to say. What I believe in, this is God's destiny. Believe that whatever happens will be best for you."

Venus nodded, understanding Aunt Martha's words. However, General Virendra was clearly not ready for this news. After learning that Venus was pregnant, the man left immediately and has not returned.

"Let the General calm his heart. You know exactly what kind of fear he has."

Venus says something about Aunt Martha. Perhaps true, right now he should give time for General Virendra to calm his heart.

"Auntie, please don't say anything to Varest. Once Vir is ready, we'll get the word out." Pinta Venus clasping her hand tightly belonged to Aunt Martha.

In his study, General Virendra sat pensively. Again, he had to make 2 choices. All this really surprised General Virendra because for 5 years he had anticipated that Venus would not get pregnant again.

Unfortunately, fate says something else. Venus is pregnant and all the risks that will happen are clearly illustrated in the eyes of General Virendra.

"General?" lieutenant Dean's voice managed to revive General Virendra from his reverie.

"What's up, Lieutenant Dean?" ask General Virendra.

General Virendra sighed, he needed a friend to tell him a story and the right person was Lieutenant Dean.

"Venus is pregnant," muttered General Virendra who could still be heard by Lieutenant Dean.

"Yes? Pregnant?" Lieutenant Dean looked surprised, not expecting this.

Lieutenant Dean knows for sure the state of Venus and how General Virendra is trying to keep Venus from becoming pregnant again.

"I was confused, everything felt sudden. Moreover, all the efforts I made to prevent Venus from getting pregnant again ended up in vain."

"General, isn't this all fate? When man works hard to get what he wants, but God outlines something else. We cannot oppose God's destiny because all we know for sure is God."

"What am I supposed to do? The doctor said Venus' second pregnancy was very risky and that maybe I'll be told to choose one of them."

Lieutenant Dean fell silent, not knowing what to answer. As best friends who have been together for many years, of course Lieutenant Dean knows what General Virendra's current unease is.

The great love that General Virendra had for Venus certainly made the man unable to let go of Venus someday. The only option is to let go of the young child. Maybe this is the only option General Virendra has.

"General, I know what you're thinking. Unfortunately, I disagree with your thoughts. Please don't make a decision that will ultimately hurt you both." Lieutenant Dean said he was resolutely trying to remind General Virendra of the decision he would make.

"Let me think about this again" said General Virendra lirih.
