My Beautiful Venus's

My Beautiful Venus's
Chapter 25 - MBV -

Venus felt uncomfortable, for some reason it felt like something was wrong. General Virendra's meeting with the top officials of the State lasted a long time.

It was almost eleven o'clock in the evening, but the man had not returned. The two servants of Venus had even returned to their respective rooms. Venus was not calm, but she knew there was nothing she could do.

"I feel like there's going to be another problem. My God, why are there so many trials in my household. Can't we really be together?"

Venus spoke to herself, revealing heartbreak. It may be true that he does not deserve to be the companion of a great General like General Virendra. After all, Venus is just an ordinary girl who does not know her origin.

The atmosphere in the meeting hall was heating up. General Virendra looks so angry because the power-hungry humans seem to want to make General Virendra their puppet.

"That's enough of your stupid words. You think you can set me up?" Cynical General Virendra, now standing, prepared to leave the meeting hall.

"General, please consider. We're talking about this for Aleister's country." The Prime Minister soon stood up, still trying to influence General Virendra.

"Who do you think you are?" General Virendra looked down on the Prime Minister as if the middle-aged man was very annoying.

"General," said the Prime Minister slowly, is still trying to persuade General Virendra.

"You want me to get married again to achieve your goals. Remember well, in this world there will only be one woman who deserves to give birth to a successor of the Aleister Nation and that woman is Venus, my wife!"

After saying that, General Virendra immediately left the meeting hall with a turbulent anger in his chest.

Those who thirst for power are disgusting, General Virendra thought.

"General, it looks like they won't just give up." Said Lieutenant Dean who was still loyal following General Virendra's footsteps.

"I know that, shameless humans like them must have prepared another plan." General Virendra replied, now stopping his footsteps.

The two men were standing under a tree, staring deep into General Virendra's residence. They knew Venus must be waiting for General Virendra.

"They must have provoked the people to urge the General. I will soon send spies to watch over the people." Lieutenant Dean again argued that was immediately approved by General Virendra.

"Yes, order the spies to watch over every move of the people. For a while let the people voice their opinions, but let no one cross the line. Send a spy in my house too, I'm sure one of Venus' servants is a traitor."

"Okay, General!" Reply Lieutenant Dean firmly who then immediately resigned to carry out his duties.

General Virendra was still standing in place, thinking of many things to ensure Venus was safe and comfortable. Until then Sean came to salute.

"How's it?" ask General Virendra directly.

"He must have taken a role in this plan. Send people to watch her, temporarily let her free, but don't let her get close to Venus."

"Okay, General!"

"One more thing, now you have to keep Venus at close range. Make sure the two servants don't affect Venus, I'm sure there's a traitor there." General Virendra gave the order and it soon passed after Sean undertakes the task he gave.

General Virendra arrived at his residence at exactly twelve p.m. Venus who was waiting for the arrival of General Virendra immediately welcomed even though the girl's face looked tired.

"You haven't slept?" general Virendra asked quite surprised that Venus welcomed him.

"Venus is waiting for the General to come home" replied Venus quietly.

"You should sleep, I know you're sleepy. Get some sleep, there's still some things I need to do." Said General Virendra who unconsciously now stroked Venus' hair gently.

Venus froze, surprised by the sweet treat. General Virendra himself was equally surprised, but the man could control himself.

"Venus .. then Venus sleeps first." Venus soon turns around, the girl looks misbehaved due to General Virendra's sweet actions.

General Virendra held back a smile at the timid attitude Venus showed. Both are aware of their feelings, but choose to hold in silence.

"Venus, should I be honest with you or better like this?" general Virendra asked himself.

General Virendra is aware that he holds too many secrets against Venus. However, to be honest with the girl was not an easy matter. Venus is not an arbitrary girl, the girl is special and comes from a prominent circle.

Unfortunately, Venus forgot a lot of things after that event. General Virendra decides to close the meeting of Venus and her family's past.
