Chapter 4 - Marriage -

Venus doesn't know what to do. She wants to reject this marriage, but given how ruthless General Virendra makes Venus can only resign herself.

General Virendra himself was secretly monitoring Venus. Seeing every move of the blue-eyed girl. General Virendra did not want the girl to suddenly run away because of this sudden marriage.

"General, there are invited guests already present." Lieutenant Dean came to give us news.

General Virendra's trusted man is in charge of monitoring the invited guests who will be treated with special.

The wedding guests of Generals Virendra and Venus. Guests from neighboring countries who come with various purposes.

General Virendra is heading for the hall. He will welcome those wonderful guests.

Before entering the hall, General Virendra codes Lieutenant Dean for silence. He wanted to hear a moment of comment from the invited guests.

"Is the girl really eighteen?" A voice with a foreign accent greeted General Virendra.

"I think it's true. No one could dare spread gossip." Someone said, it looks like he's from a faraway country considering his style of speech.

"We haven't even seen her." John's consent was approved by the heads of the Aleister State political department.

"I don't think she's as pretty as Princess Selena." The speech succeeded in making the look on General Virendra's face harden.

The man immediately entered the hall and was greeted by the surprise of the invited guests.

"I think only ordinary people like to gossip. Turns out, elites like you like to gossip in the back." General Virendra silenced the invited guests.

"I'm sorry, General!" Tony, the representative from the South.

General Virendra just stared cynically without any intention of replying to Tony.

"I am General Virendra, inviting you to attend the palace of the State of Aleister to attend my wedding. Please enjoy every meal." Said General Virendra opening a banquet.

The wedding will be held tomorrow morning and as is the custom of Aleister State. They will hold a banquet to welcome the bride's important guests.

Actually General Virendra would not hold this banquet. However, in order to respect the culture of the State he led inevitably General Virendra had to hold a banquet.

The wedding finally arrived. The invited guests, the soldiers on guard as well as the witnesses of the citizens of Aleister State were already preparing to welcome the two brides.

General Virendra walked with dignity then stopped in front of the stage of the wedding hall waiting for his future wife.

Not long after, Venus entered in a wedding dress so beautiful. The pretty face was covered in a bridal veil as was the Aleister State ritual. However, for some reason the people who watched thought Venus was so enchanting.

A series of weddings were conducted and eventually they were legal to become husband and wife. Then, the time came to open the veil of the bride.

All stared curiously, but it turned out that the bride wore a veil until only her beautiful eyes were visible.

"You're doing the right thing." General Virendra's whisper made Venus look him in the face.

"Handsome," whispered Venus softly.

General Virendra pulled a slight corner of his lips. The man smiled thinly, so thin that it was invisible to Venus.

General Virendra looked into those beautiful blue eyes. He seemed to dive into the sea so clear and beautiful.

"What magic are you really using?" ask General Virendra slowly.

Venus looked at General Virendra confusedly, indeed she did not understand what General Virendra had said.

General Virendra turned his gaze away, looking reluctant to answer the confusion of Venus. Let this be General Virendra's secret alone.

"So, that little girl who was so daring to snatch my position?" whispered a graceful woman to herself.

"Hide that face? Is it ugly or is there something else to hide?" The woman whispered again, not caring about the people around her.

The woman's eyes stared intently at the figure of Venus now being introduced to the guests.

The woman was so curious about the face of the little girl who had already recklessly usurped the throne that was supposed to belong to her.

"I thought you'd burn the bride through that look of yours." Whisper of another woman.

The woman who was looking at Venus turned her gaze. The woman was named Selena, the daughter of the Southern Country who intended to be betrothed to General Virendra.

"If I could burn now through my gaze, I might have done it since the little girl entered the wedding hall."

Selena stared at the vengeful whisper, then left just like that. He could not linger to see the newlyweds.

Selena wanted to seize the position, she assumed she was the only one who deserved the status of wife of the leader of the Aleister State. She is beautiful, smart, graceful and a Princess of the Southern Country. Who is the man who can resist his charm?
