My Beautiful Venus's

My Beautiful Venus's
Chapter 38 - MBV -

General Virendra deliberately let Sella get close to him. The man seemed to give space to Sella, like giving hope even though not too visible.

General Virendra lets Sella come and offers the man tea together.

"General, may I invite the General to have tea together?" sella asked in her soft voice.

General Virendra was silent, not answering Sella's call. However, the man sees the code given by Lieutenant Dean to approve Sella's wishes.

"Well, we're gonna have tea in the hall and I want Lieutenant Dean with me." General Virendra agreed to the invitation and immediately went towards the hall.

Sella smiled widely, so happy because she felt General Virendra would accept her. Sella needs a little more time and General Virendra will marry her and expel Venus.

That afternoon General Virendra, Lieutenant Dean and Sella had tea together. Activities that step it of course invite unpleasant gossip.

The Prime Minister who heard this was getting more and more pleased. He felt that soon his wish was realized, which was to become the in-law of a great General.

Venus heard the news and of course she did not believe it. However, as Venus walked through the hall there she saw General Virendra coming out of the hall along with Sella.

Venus was very disappointed with General Virendra. While Venus is preoccupied with thoughts of her parents, General Virendra spends time with other girls.

Seeing General Virendra walking towards her, Venus tried to act ordinary. He did not want General Virendra to know that his heart was in pain.

"General" greeted Venus politely.

General Virendra smiled briefly, a smile that no one but Venus saw.

Behind General Virendra, Sella looks at Venus. The girl acted as if she was the winner of General Virendra's heart.

"Venus, how-" General Virendra's speech came to a halt as Venus interjected quickly.

"Then, excuse me. Sorry to block your way, General." Venus immediately went away from General Virendra without looking back.

It looks like a woman is angry and hurt. Unfortunately, General Virendra did not know about it. All this time General Virendra's life is so straight never pay attention or attach importance to the feelings of others.

"General, it looks like there's something you need to take care of right away." Lieutenant Dean who realized Venus' anger immediately broke the situation.

General Virendra just nodded, it seemed like the man did not read the code from Lieutenant Dean.

Then, General Virendra and Lieutenant Dean left without saying goodbye even to look at Sella.

Sella herself did not dispute that. He was already very happy because he felt he had managed to grab the attention of General Virendra. Her steps were getting ahead and Venus was trailing very far.

"Auntie!" Venus called out, hoping one of Aunt Martha's cries would open the door.

Soon the door opened and the maid invited Venus to enter.

"What's up, Venus? Why scream like that?" aunt Martha asked when Venus was standing before her.

"Auntie, I'm .. I'm really disappointed in him." Venus immediately complained, hugging Aunt Martha tightly.

"What's up, Venus? Say it clearly, Auntie doesn't understand what you're saying."

"General disappointed me, Auntie. I'm in trouble, but he's having tea with another girl."

Hearing this made Aunt Martha smile. The middle-aged woman realized one thing, that Venus was jealous.

"You're jealous, Venus." Whisper Aunt Martha after successfully removing Venus's tight hug.

Venus' blue eyes widened, shocked by Aunt Martha's words. He did not feel jealous, only disappointed in General Virendra.

"No, Auntie. I'm not jealous .. I'm just disappointed and a little upset." Venus dodged immediately, trying to cover up her feelings.

"Who is jealous and disappointed?" ask someone who is suddenly behind Venus.
