“Mama is aware if mama was wrong all this time. From now on, I want to fix everything. Mama wants to receive Angel and future grandchild mama.”

Louis was surprised not to play. What is the wind until her mother can turn open her heart to accept the presence of Angel and her child so quickly? Did something happen between her mom and dad after she left there that night? I don't know, Louis doesn't know. All he knew now was that his mother suddenly said that, which made Louis even more suspicious.

Louis stared fixedly at his mother, wanting to find the truth or lie that was in the eyes of the woman. No, Louis didn't find anything there. He only found his mother's silent gaze upon him.

“When mom chided Angel with inappropriate words, did you ever think of her feelings?”

Jenita was stunned to hear Louis's voice questioning that. He knew it would not be easy to get Louis to trust him again after what he did to make his son and Angel hurt. But Jenita hopes Louis believes fully if she's changed by now. He wanted to fix what was wrong and the vile attitude he had once done to Angel.

“Mama wrong. Mama admitted that, and now mama wants to improve her attitude. Including apologizing to Angel, as well as you.”

Louis threw his face towards the still-lit television. He tried to digest the situation, making sure if there were no more lies from the mother and made her feel helpless someday if something happened to her household with Angel.

“Why did mama confuse Louis like this, mam?” louis asked, beginning to feel frustrated with himself who continued to be suspicious of his mother. The heartache he received when the mother called Angel a callous, in a way that made Louis a little skeptical by making distance as a shield for the safety of his household.

Louis knew what he was doing was wrong. But there is no other option to save what is already his right and obligation as the head of the family.

Jenita bowed at Louis's sad voice. It was all his fault from the beginning.

“If you used to accept what was Louis' choice, maybe now Louis is not this scared to accept mama's apology.” he said, slowly barely whispering. “If in the past, mama could accept Angel like papa, maybe Louis will not be skeptical and always think bad about mama, as now.”

Jenita again raised her face and looked at the features of the son's face with a sad look. Louis's right. If he used to be able to accept Angel as he is, and release Louis from the mass, it would definitely not happen like this.

“Mama sorry.”

Only words of apology can be conveyed by Jenita to her son. He no longer knew what to do to convince Louis if this time, he was truly sincere.

“Mama sincerely asks you, to accept sorry mama. Mama also wants to be a good mama for you, and a good mama-in-law for angel.” said Jenita, starting to shed tears. “And of course, mama wants to be a good grandma also for your granddaughter, later.”

Louis's self-defense collapsed. He moved closer and hugged his mother who is now impressed in his arms. He could feel how much pain and sorrow his heart heard the sound of sobs from the woman he loved, the woman who conceived and raised him full of love and affection at that time.

“Mama don't cry.” said Louis, rubbing the frail back of the mama who vibrated from sobbing. “Mama makes Louis more confused.” he continued, but made Jenita patted his chest quite hard because the woman was upset with the sentence of her son who actually wanted to make him laugh. Jenita misses her Louis like this. It always made her smile even though she was crying.

Jenita's answer made the sad atmosphere that raked blue turned like a comedy. How can they joke like that in the midst of a sad atmosphere that Jenita wants to feel to make her more determined to love Angel as her daughter-in-law? Jenita swears she will hit Louis's pan-tat if things are back.

Louis laughed and Jenita comforted herself in her son's arms. For him, Louis could always make his heart feel calm and protected. Once again, regret in Jenita's heart. He cursed his stupidity because it made men as gentle and as good as Louis took revenge on him.

“If mama does want to change, Louis does not mind taking off Angel to meet mama every mama wants to meet her.”

Jenita nodded.

“Angel good woman, mam.”

“Mama know it, Lou. And mama regrets ever making her feel hostile by mama, in this family.” Jenita withdrew, not wanting later her daughter-in-law to guess if she was too excessive to express her affection. “Mama knows, Angel is the right choice for you. You are good at choosing a wife. She's a good woman. Everything that was on him, just like his name. He's not just a human being, he's like an angel.”

There was a hue appearing on Louis's face and ears.

“Thank you.” Louis hugged his mother again, and she responded by patting her son's sturdy back several times.

“Mama should thank you, Angel too, for all the good you're trying to do for me. And thank you too, for making Angel as part of the Hutama.” family

Louis distanced himself and smiled.

“Doctor Anita said, if the prediction is not wrong, you will have a grandson son of Lou and Angel.”

The news made Jenita close her mouth in disbelief, then she smiled broadly while rubbing Louis's arm with a proud look.

“It turns out besides being smart in terms of work and making money, you are also smart to make children, yes?” jenita said without shading aling-aling that made Louis gawk.

What ambiguous words. Louis ran out of words and nailed with gaping lips. But a second later, Louis still laughed off facing the ambiguity with pleasure.
