Predator vs Angel

Johan was very frustrated. He had no face to just say 'may be cured' to Lia.

Upon learning that Lia is finished and will be transferred to the ward, Johan chooses to return to Norita's bar and look for clues as to where her mommy is going.

Even Vicky and Viviane didn't see him after dinner in the hospital cafeteria.

By the time Johan arrived at the bar, the conditions there were already very disheveled.

Many police officers arrested and took several people to be led to the police station.

And one thing that makes Johan not understand is the discovery of a large aquarium with a corpse preserved in it.

There is an iron plate with the name Handoko under the aquarium. Likewise in some other aquariums written the name Diamond, Samuel, Lia, Viviane, Abraham, and Suzy. But there's no Vicky's name there.

Johan's heart was getting more and more sliced. Feeling inferior makes Johan have no face to look at Lia again.

"Oh mom. What is it that makes you feel so hateful towards Lia's family? Don't you know mom, if your son loves that girl you hate so much? Then how will I continue this life if you just don't want to understand me, mom" complained Johan who was already glazed. Didn't know that her mommy hated Lia so much.

Johan secretly visits his mommy's office. Checking all the files left behind that could be a clue to where her mommy is hiding.

"I had to do everything quickly before the police searched this place" Johan said.

One by one the important files Johan had read. And his struggle led Johan to a book Certificate home. One in Norita's name, while the other in Eria's Ruby name, belonged to her mommy.

Johan did not carry the certificate, he only photographed the address and map of the house for him to visit. But the two houses were in two far-flung places.

"I have to visit this house, who knows mommy is in one of them" Johan murmured.

Soon Johan went to the furthest place that morning as well, a route that was quite draining of energy because of the location of the house close to the forest and the winding road.

Johan drove nearly three hours to get there. And when he got there, Johan did not get anything even he to break down the door and look for his mommy to all corners of the room.

"Ah ****! Where are you, mom" complained Johan who returned to drive to go to his second destination.

But before Johan went to the second house, he took the time to just eat breakfast while filling the gas in an SPBU.

Faintly Johan heard the news this morning through a television set in the rest area.

News that aired the Norita bar that was being randomized by the police and also the latest news about the condition of Lia who is one of Alexander's descendants who was affected by the disaster.

Unexplained about what happened to Lia. The news announcer only conveyed if a lot of flower deliveries were sent to the room where Lia was treated.

No outsider has been allowed to visit such an amazing girl in terms of business.

Johan could only carve out a smile while listening to the news. He did admire and love the brave and intelligent girl, even since Johan was a child.

"I'm sorry, Lia. You and your family are getting tough because it's my mommy. I don't know how to apologize to you" Johan's mind grew more and more bitter.

"Enoughs! I need to find mommy before she does anything again. Maybe mommy was in the house that was on the certificate. I have to get there" Johan said, noting the rest of the capuccino coffee after swallowing the bread.

"Both of you are important for me, mom and Lia. But if I have to choose, I better take mommy away from this country and open a new page of our lives. May God still provide an opportunity for mommy to become a new and better man" a series of prayers Johan said for the sake of her mommy.

It was almost noon by the time Johan reached the courtyard of his mommy house. From a distance he saw a car parked outside.

Johan was still observing from a safe distance.

The horn of Sam's expensive car sounded painful in Lian's ears that couldn't sleep since last night.

Hearing Sam who wants to invite Lian to go make Ruby continue to remind if the plan must be done today.

"Lian, really long" Sam yelled a little because Lian was not seen after Sam waited almost fifteen minutes.

Sam didn't know if there were any other residents in Lian's house this morning, so he used to yell like that.

"Yes, you are not impatient at all" said Lian who had come out in a uniform and her backpack.

"A really tangled face? Why?" asked Sam who saw Lian's eye bags slightly blackened.

"What a look? I couldn't sleep last night, Sam" Lian replied honestly.

Sam smiled at him, but in Sam's mind, Lian could not sleep because she thought that their trip this afternoon would be fun.

"Thank you Sam" said Lian who was sitting sweetly and Sam again closed the car door.

Across there, Johan was still lurking with high curiosity.

"Isn't that Sam? Who'd she go with? But it's true this is the address of the house in the certificate belonging to mommy" Johan murmured by still observing the circumstances surrounding it.

Johan sharpened his vision, it turned out that there was another car that was also stalking the two of them.

"It's not just me who's curious" Johan murmured.

"Which black car with two men in it, I'm sure they're the bodyguards that Papa told you to protect Samuel, who's that black van across the street?" ask Johan who always carries small binoculars in his car.

And Samuel really doesn't know that his life is at stake here. And Lia. As bait.

"Lo looks really anxious, Li?" asked Sam who saw Lian was agitated, sitting unsettled and saw the girl playing a thumb on her lap.

"Not Sam. I'm just a little groggy because it's about time for me to answer all your questions" Lian replied. But Sam certainly believed him.

"It doesn't feel like time is passing, Sam. Soon we are no longer high school students who are said to be the most pleasant time to remember" said Lian trying to calm down.

"Gue just wants to get to the beach soon and you can answer my question, Li. And I hope your answer will make me feel happy later" Sam said with a focused view to the highway.

"If the answer isn't what you want, how?" joke Lian.

"Gue stayed on the beach, went home alone" Sam replied with a laugh.

"It's really bad" Lian said.

"Lo the evil one, I've been patiently waiting for a pleasant answer from you for almost three years, even the disappointment I get. Worse lo times" said Sam.

"I hope even though today will be the ultimate day, but it doesn't make our feelings change, Sam. Hopefully in the future there is still a chance for us to feel happy" Lian said.

"Absurd is very chatty. Discuss the other if you feel uncomfortable" said Sam who had turned his car to the school gate.

Of course, the cool sports car became the center of attention for all students at SMA Negeri where Sam ended his High School.

Lian was not used to being the center of attention like this. His steps looked clumsy and always lowered his head as he passed his friends who were still watching the two of them.

While Sam whose confidence level is very high looks ordinary when passing his friends.

And out there, Sam's been waiting for his predators and angels. I don't know who will win.

Johan who always wanted to protect Sam, or Ruby who had been escorted by two trusted men?
