Losing Kian

The sun is shining on the western horizon. Reflects the warmth from the cold of the morning dew. The chirping of birds broke the silence, dancing in the vast expanse of sky.

The clock shows at 8 am, Arkan just woke up from his long sleep.

"Sir Dan please get the car ready," Arkan ordered on the phone. The young master got out of his bed.

"Where are you going, young master?" ask Mr. Dan return.

" Seeing the company's gathering" Arkan replied as he headed for his bathroom.

Did I not hear wrong? Why did the young master suddenly want to go there?

"Good sir. I'll be ready soon." After hanging up the phone, Mr. Dan sent a message to the driver who is on duty today to get ready.

Within twenty minutes, Mr. Dan and the driver were in the yard waiting for Arkan to come down. It was fortunate that Mr. Dan had been cleaning himself since dawn, so the middle-aged man only needed to change his clothes when he got an order from Arkan. Although it is actually a holiday for Mr. Dan, but he is always ready from morning. He did not know when the young master would need him, like this morning.

After the wait is seen coming down the stairs, the driver prepares to open the car door for Arkan. While Mr. Dan stood on the front side of the car. Arkan wore a blue polo t-shirt combined with black jeans. This man whatever he wears still looks handsome. Maybe even with shabby clothes.

"Good morning sir" said the driver and Mr. Dan almost simultaneously.

The one being talked to just nodded his head. After making sure Arkan got into the car, the driver closed the door slowly. Mr. Dan also got into the car and sat in the front seat. The driver turns the car around and sits behind the wheel. Turning on the engine, then stepping on the gas propel the car at moderate speed.

After the group arrived at the rafting location, each of them wore the equipment that had been provided by the manager. Rendy was helping Kian put on the girl's vest and helmet. Dina just shook her head to see it. And the other women who were chasing Rendy every day, this time not to discuss the treatment of Rendy to Kian, they were busy looking at someone who was sitting in the tent. For them, Rendy's good looks were nothing compared to the good looks of someone they see now. Not to mention the tagline twisting the young master who was very different from Rendy. "Who is that man, Mr. Dan?" ask Arkan still staring at Rendy and Kian from inside the tent.

Hearing Arkan's question, Mr. Dan immediately glanced towards his young master's gaze.

"He's Rendy from the marketing department."

Arkan is increasingly visibly riled up when he sees Kian and Rendy in the same rubber boat. They just laughed happily without caring about the others. After the inflatable boat was full, an instructor pushed it until it was carried away by the current. The participants look more enthusiastic when the rubber boat is swayed udders carried by the current. Laughter and shouting are mutually simple. Occasionally the boat is shaken because it hit a rock, but the participants in it are quickly able to control it.

Arkan did not stay there for long. He moved from his seat about to leave the place. Just a few steps away, Arkan and the group that was there were startled with sounds.

"Please!" Shouts were heard from the river.

Hearing a cry for help, the participants and instructors approached the riverbank. But the instructors forbid the participants to get closer. Several people from the direction of the river ran towards them, including Rendy.

"Our boat capsized, and then when everyone got back to the boat someone didn't come back" said an instructor with Kian and Rendy's entourage.

"What!" Arkan who was still standing in his place clenched his hands. He walked over to Rendy and grabbed the man's shirt.

"How could you lose your partner? And how dare you come back before you find him!" his screams were full of emotion.

"Sorry sir, we've been trying to find him but haven't met." An instructor tries to prevent Arkan from hitting Rendy.

"Let's see him. Before you find him, don't expect you to leave this place." Arkan's threat is no joke. The instructors and assisted male participants rushed down the river.

"Contact SAR team now!" arkan's orders. Mr. Dan who felt the remark was aimed at him immediately replied.

"Well sir." the man pulled the cell phone out of his pants pocket and pressed the call according to Arkan's shop.

Half an hour passed, but Kian had not yet been found. Arkan is getting restless. Even the SAR team has helped.

"Basic useless!" arkan is upset. Arkan rolled up his jeans and took off his shoes. Mr. Dan who saw it scrunched his forehead.

"What will the young master do?" tanyakanya.

"I'll go look for him." Stand up, then walk towards the river.

"Don't sir! you can't swim." Hearing Mr. Dan's words, Arkan stopped his steps. He growls. He was upset he couldn't do anything.

"Damn!" Punching the air in front of him.

After an hour of searching, it was finally found. He was stranded on a large rock a kilometer away from where the boat capsized. The girl was unconscious. The SAR team took him back to the tent on a stretcher.

Seeing Kian unconscious, Arkan looks restless.

One of the SAR team pressed Kian's chest several times. Making the girl cough out water that has been swallowed a lot. And finally he realized. Dina immediately hugged Kian amidst her sobs.

"You okay? Why did it happen? Can't you swim?" tanyanya after taking off the hug.

"I'm doing fine. Just then when I wanted to get back into the boat suddenly my legs cramped, I couldn't swim and the river current was dragging me, right away" Kian explained. He looked at the worried faces of his colleagues. " I'm sorry to worry you guys."

"Do you need to go to the hospital?" ask Mr. Dan. He saw the nervousness of his young master who looked worried. It was not usual for young master to behave like that. Especially if it is just for ordinary employees. But it seemed like the young girl in front of him this time was different. The young master seemed to be getting interested, even though he had yet to notice it.

"No need sir" replied quickly. "I'm fine." Trying to convince her that she's okay.

"Basic fool!" arkan sly. But Kian could still hear the man's swearing.

Did he just abuse me? This crazy guy really has no heart huh? I just drowned. And he did not sympathize at all, but instead cursed. Ahhhh I just want to kill you.
