Chanwo decided to sit next to this girl. It seemed like the two of them needed some personal time to deal with the stress after this great war was over. Far away from the crowd and just being themselves, that was more than enough. Chanwo leaned his head against one side of the tower wall, staring blankly at the ceiling above him.
“It looks like this place is very unkempt ” said Chanwo clearly.
Nhea immediately turned her eyes towards this man. What he meant by unkempt was this watchtower. Because this is the only place that is felt most remote and rarely touched by the owners.
“Just look at so many vines growing at will here,” said Chanwo who still continues to comment on what he just saw.
“How can they let all this happen?” continued.
“I think they did it on purpose. Either to reinforce the mystical feel of this school, or indeed to hide the existence of the tower. I know this is a pretty secret place because it's used as a place to spy on enemies. So I think it's only natural that they allow this wild plant to stay here, without thinking of it as a parasite,” explained the girl at length.
“I don't think they care about this place. Though there are still many other things that are much more worthy to keep this place a secret,” protests Chanwo dissatisfied.
“After all, this school is very outdated, right? They are isolating themselves from the modern world that is going on right now,” Nhea said casually.
“Do you degrade your own school?” asked Chanwo surprised.
“Indeed like that the reality, which is realistic only,” reply the girl, indifferent.
Chanwo shook his head, still inexhaustible with the behavior of this girl just now. How could she vilify the name of her own school. But he thought maybe Nhea was never too excited to boast about this school. This girl is really hard to guess what she wants.
“Already! Why do we have to worry about this tower,” said Nhea while grunting annoyed.
“You're right,” reply agree.
Chanwo stole a glance several times towards the field, to see how the situation was there. All the students seemed confused to react how to end all this. In one of them, of course, they feel happy because they can be free from the biggest fear that continues to haunt them all this time. However, on the other hand it doesn't seem so much fun for Ga Eun.
In the end, all the stories that ever begin must end. Either we're ready or we're not at all. Just like the first time he came, no one was ever ready for it. But everything has to happen and just flow with destiny as its prime mover.
Who would have thought if a story had to end this way. The tragic ending was very sad, making the heart of every person who accidentally saw it become so sliced. But back to the basic principle if all the stories have to end, even though not everything is the same as what we want. There are only two options, between happy or sad.
“Do I have to tell you about who I am?” asked Chanwo hesitantly.
The girl sitting next to him then turned a glance, before finally looking back blankly at the tile floor.
“It was indeed necessary for the first meeting like this,” replied Nhea.
“But it's okay if you mind. I'll never force him,” he continued.
“Good then,” reply Nhea.
The man was seen taking a deep breath before starting to speak. It seemed he was nervous enough to do so, although at first he was convinced for a moment. But now he's back to brave himself again.
“You remember the story of the rubies you heard in class?” ask Chanwo.
The girl who was his only interlocutor back then only nodded weakly. He did not say much, because the main purpose was just to listen to the story of Chanwo.
“Rubi was split into parts and bounced all directions,” he continued.
“Our kaum was lucky enough to have gotten two pieces of ruby at once at the same time. A lot of people want that thing, but we're the lucky ones. No one wants to go in there to just take back the ruby. The place was too scary for them, even for me too,” he explained at length.
“Two?” ask Nhea.
“That means you still have the other one, right?” continued.
Now it was Chanwo's turn to nod, to encourage the girl's words.
“To be honest I'm not too sorry with the names of the regions where the ruby fragments are now. So if you have that ruby, then it means that you should be from one of those areas,”, Nhea said with her sudden critical attitude.
“I'm not too sure to tell you about this, but anyway at the beginning I promised to tell everything,” explained Chanwo with a sigh.
“I, the woman and all those mysterious people are from the north,” he said bluntly.
These two girls' eyes were perfectly rounded when Chanwo told him about it. The word north alone was enough to be a clue to him. The only area in the north where the rubies landed rough was the forest of darkness. Everyone here knew very well that the forest was a cursed place and was a residence for thousands and even millions of strange creatures.
Nhea didn't know too much about the place. But , he had heard some stories about the horrors of the forest that one. To this day, no one dared to set foot there. If not wrong who inhabit the place is a darkness that consists of two part clans, namely the shadow clan and the vampires.
The girl suddenly moved back a few steps, when she knew that what she was facing right now was a big threat. He never expected that he would meet one of them in person.
“So, are you their leader?”
Suddenly the question that he had thrown, again glistened clearly in his head. As if to remind him if danger is threatening and remind him again if Chanwo is the leader of the darkness.
At the same time, when Nhea chose to shy away from him, Chanwo swiftly managed to grab one of the wrists of this girl. Suddenly Nhea was getting more and more uncertain fear when everything began to feel clear as it is today.
