As usual, Nhea went with Oliver to head for the dining room. This was the first time he had returned to visit the place after days of being absent from the list. The entire hallway and corridor that originally seemed quiet, now began to look crowded with dozens of students. Not something surprising indeed, this was a super natural sight that they had always experienced every day.
Along the way to the dining room, Nhea seriously listened to Oliver's story. He said there were a lot of things that Nhea missed and it was unfortunate. Yesterday the witch council visited their school, but Nhea was unconscious. Until the fear of the whole school for receiving terror letters from Ify. And one more thing he missed was the annual assembly of the higher-ups.
“You know clearly that I envy you,” Oliver said as he was.
“Ehmm... why is that?” ask Nhea confused.
“So all this time you've been jealous of me, but because of what?” continued.
Oliver is getting ready to go back to telling a long story about all his feelings during this time. Looks like the story this time will be very long.
“You know why I envy you?” ask Oliver.
While the figure who asked just shook his head with an innocent expression.
“How lucky you are when you can instantly become one of the important parts of this school,” he explained clearly.
“After all, it's only natural that you can be like that. You are the main heir of this school, after your father and mother are gone, then you will take their place. You're more important than Brother Ji,”.
“Then, how come I don't continue their roles like you meant?” ask Nhea who is starting to look serious.
“Maybe this school will lose its leader and could be dissolved by a witch board, because it lacks clarity in its education system,” Oliver replied.
“But wouldn't a witch live eternally?” ask Nhea again.
“But they're witches, they can do whatever they want. There must be one or two spells that can break the curse of their death,”, Nhea said enthusiastically.
Oliver could clearly see what the girl was thinking. It was too easy for him to read the minds of others.
“You're afraid of losing them for good aren't you?” ask Oliver carefully.
“Look at you being so ambitious, I know if you don't want that to happen to them,”.
“Where might I think like that, you must be wrong,” the pretext.
“I'm used to living without them at all and the proof is that I can survive without them. I don't have to worry about them, when they don't want to know anything about me. I think it's quite breakeven for my suffering over the years. I want once the world to be fair to me,” explained Nhea at length.
“I grew up without them and with the harsh blows of the universe that always attacked me ceaselessly. I tried to survive amongst all the pressure I was under,”.
Oliver begins to understand all the reasons why Nhea has always been closed. He was used to being that kind of person.
“Therefore, you deserve this position,” Oliver said.
“But I never needed it at all,” replied Nhea confidently.
Now his heart was too hard to be softened by such persuasion. That meant nothing to him. Life in the real world is far more important than all these illusions they create.
