Beginings

"Alright.." said Chanwo while sighing slowly.

"Just help her, do you remind your mother?" hwang Ji Na was impatient.

Surprisingly, this man instantly shut up for a moment after Hwang Ji Na said that. Eun Ji Hae looked at the man with fixed eyes.

"Some kindness may be able to release you from the curse that has shackled you" continued Hwang Ji Na.

"All right, I'll help you" Chanwo said with a heavy heart.

"Without my blood of course, right?" ask Eun Ji Hae.

The man nodded weakly, as if Hwang Ji Na's words had succeeded in bewitching him. Chanwo looks so resigned to the circumstances. Though he is the ruler here, he can do whatever he wants. But why the woman was able to prevent it, what was the truth.

"Young Rae!" the man shouted from inside the room.

At first the two girls could not believe that his voice had broken through the solid stone walls without this gap. They think Chanwo is emotional because he cannot get what he wants.

"I am your honor."

Suddenly a heavy weighted voice appeared from outside this room. Eun Ji Hae starts to get scared and keeps on being alert with her surroundings. It could be that this cunning prince was trying to trick her.

"Lake in!" Chanwo's orders.

A second later, a person in a long, barely-dragged robe appeared from behind the door. The elegant silhouette slowly became solid. Until a man who is no less beautiful with this one prince. No matter what the creature was, he was clearly very handsome.

It turned out to be that guy named Rae Young. He is the only sister of this prince. In addition, he was also appointed as a confidant of Chanwo in the kingdom.

"Command the entire clan members to make way for Ji Na and this girl. Make sure no one tries to mess with them, otherwise make sure that person you kill immediately!" chanwo orders firmly, like the rulers in general.

"But who is he brother?" ask Rae Young to the prince who is also his biological brother.

"Just do my command!" answer Chanwo.

"All right!" reply to the man, then leave the room.

"Now, get out of here, ladies. You're interrupting my break" Chanwo said.

"Did you kick us out?!" reply Eun Ji Hae who began to ignite emotions again.

"Once, follow it. At least he's obeyed your request, hasn't he?" hwang Ji Na tried to calm the girl down.

"When are you going?" ask Chanwo.

"Later tonight," replied Hwang Ji Na briefly.

"Let me come with you guys, to be safer" he said.

"If you dare to mess with me, I'll finish you off first!" eun Ji Hae.

"You're too sweet to hurt dear" Chanwo replied with a slanted smile.

To prevent more dialogue from provoking the girl's emotions, Hwang Ji Na immediately took Eun Ji Hae out of the room. There's nothing to do there anymore, after all they've got what they want.

"What do you mean about kindness?" eun Ji Hae asked on the way home.

"That's their family secret, I'm sorry I couldn't tell you, '" explained a girl who was walking beside him.

"But whatever it is, I'm sure it's top secret. The proof is that he immediately complied with your request" Eun Ji Hae replied.

While the figure spoken to was just a small smile while paying attention to the street in front of him. Eun Ji Hae should not need to know about the hereditary secrets of the royal family. Hwang Ji Na is the only foreigner who knows everything about it.

Actually the dark people and all members of his clan are the cursed people. Shackled in a curse for centuries, from generation to generation. Never fade away, let alone disappear.

The ancestors of the Chanwo family were part of the nebula clan. Until one day, there was a misunderstanding between the entire clan. In the end the darkness and all the members of his clan were not considered part of the nebula clan anymore. They disappeared from the nebula clan civilization for years, even centuries. A group of rulers that night, secluded themselves to this place.

Since that incident, some of their powers have been recalled by the supreme ruler of the nebula clan. So that's what makes them hide in this forest. This place is enough to protect them from all the threats of the outside world that can endanger their safety. The universe has always lurked the weakness of the darkness from various directions, looking for loopholes in order to paralyze the eternal inhabitants of this forest.

Chanwo himself had heard this story since he was seven years old, from his own mother's mouth. That's why this annoying prince is determined to change the fate of his own people. He was entitled to it, considering that if he was the ruler of the entire clan, the entire control of this forest was on him. Perhaps with a small act he did, it would bring a great change for the whole nation.

This man is sure, if one day he can see the sun again. Chanwo is desperate to break the curse of his ancestors. He wanted to see one of the brightest glowing celestial bodies, even though it was one of their weaknesses.

Night has greeted the whole country, but in this place you can not distinguish at all where day and night. This forest was always pitch-black for twenty-four hours. If you go to this place, then you will not find a beam of light except from the cave belonging to Hwang Ji Na.

Eun Ji Hae has ordered Pegasus and Griffin to travel first, and wait for Eun Ji Hae at the end of the forest later tonight. The two creatures have been traveling since this afternoon, they came out through the hole in the cave. Once again even though Chanwo has guaranteed the safety of all of them, but this girl can not trust fully with the devious man. Being under the sun will make both creatures safe.

"Are you ready?" hwang Ji Na asked while confirming the place of her arrows.

While the figure asked just nodded enthusiastically. I can't wait to get out of this place. Eun Ji Hae can't stay here any longer. There is a mission from Ga Eun's aunt that she must complete on time. It concerns the life of someone who has saved the entire school. For the freedom he has dreamed of, Eun Ji Hae is determined to complete the mission. The girl was very optimistic and convinced that the task entrusted by her aunt would be successfully completed. Eun Ji Hae can be sure that no one will be disappointed.

With sure steps, the two girls prepared to make the journey. Hwang Ji Na also brought a silver arrow with her.

"You guys ready?" say someone who is hiding in the dark.

Who else if not Chanwo. It turned out that the man had been waiting for these two girls in front of the cave earlier. He also heard some small talk accidentally.

"When have you been here?" ask Hwang Ji Na.

"About two hours ago" he answered.

"How do you think?" ask back Chanwo.

"Here you go, let's go now! Before it was too late at night, their kasian had been waiting for you there," explained Hwang Ji Na trying to divorce the two.

"Come on!" chanwo reply excited.

He hasn't made such a small trip in a long time. Since his father and mother had died, he was always busy with royal affairs. That right made him not have much time left to roam the forest like before. This man also increasingly rarely played and hunted with his adopted sister.

Without a second thought, they immediately went from there to the end of this forest. There was only silence along the way, occasionally tinged by the little bickering between Eun Ji Hae and this prince.

"What are you going there for?" tanya Chanwo curious.

"I have to meet my father and mother there, I need their help immediately" explained Eun Ji Hae who was focusing on watching the street in front of her.

"Why not just send a letter?" ask Chanwo again.

"I'm on my way to sending a letter,"

"I mean why not use a bird or something like that as an intermediary."

"This is one of the conditions for my freedom. I'm caught in the curse of the Phoenix statue, and one of the conditions for me to be free forever is to do this."

"Oh yeah, I heard from Ji Na you were a student at the Mooneta magic school. Can you break my curse with your magic game?"

"Hey, I don't even know what your problem is. I'm also trying to escape my own curse."

After getting tired of arguing for the umpteenth time, these two people also returned to silence each other for the umpteenth time.

"I want to see the sun. Hwang Ji Na always said that sunlight at dusk is very good. An end to a beautiful day" Chanwo said, imagining how the twilight scene was on his mind.

Suddenly Eun Ji Hae's steps stopped for a moment after hearing the sentence ejected from Chanwo's mouth. Curiously, he finally began to turn his gaze towards the man.

"Can't you do that?" asked Eun Ji Hae who looked serious.

"It's a curse to our people. For centuries we have been stuck in the same vows" Chanwo replied.

Now finally this girl knew why the dark people and her entire clan were so sensitive to light, including the sunlight that could kill them in an instant. On the other hand Eun Ji Hae also pity listening to this man's confession. Over the years, he spent the rest of his life in a dark, colourless, bleak world.

"You want to see the twilight?" ask Eun Ji Hae.

"Of course!" chanwo replied enthusiastically.

"What could break the curse?" ask again.

"Let's go, I don't know for sure. Some say that if you do some good, the curse will disappear by itself" he explained, scratching his non-itchy head.

"I think you should start doing that from now on, if you want all your dreams to come true," replied Eun Ji Hae who folded her arms in front of her chest.

"Do you think so?" asked Chanwo hesitantly.

"Of course!" replied the girl while nodding her head.

"There has to be something sacrificed to achieve what you want" he continued.

Suddenly Eun Ji Hae remembered something about her words just now. Something has to be sacrificed for what we want. What is a definition similar to the present state of Nhea. The girl sacrificed her own safety for the sake of the entire school. This was what the school wanted. Safe from Ify's annual attack that seems to be transformed into his arch-enemy. But this is not the way, not by giving up one life as payment.

It was amazing to see Ify slowly transformed into a demon, who attacked anyone in front of him blindly. Their relationship was very close as brothers. The girl had completely changed, even Eun Ji Hae herself was inexhaustible with her.

"We have reached the edge of this forest," said Hwang Ji Na.

"Be careful while on your journey" Chanwo continued.

"Thank you everyone for helping me" Eun Ji Hae said.

"Go, they have been waiting for you," replied Hwang Ji Na as she pointed towards Griffin who had been standing on the edge of the forest.

Eun Ji Hae only nodded weakly then immediately ran towards the two creatures who would accompany her during the journey later. Griffin and Pegasus welcomed the presence of this girl in their own way. Eun Ji Hae and her entourage, rushed to leave the place before dawn came. He smiled as he waved his hands towards Hwang Ji Na and Chanwo. Think of it as a thank you, as well as a farewell from him.

After they left from before him, Chanwo was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. He felt something was different, something that made him much calmer, even though he didn't know what it was.

"It turns out this is what it feels like to do something good. At least I can feel more useful to others" he murmured inwardly.

"Hopefully they can survive the trip, and go back to school that is fine," Hwang Ji Na said with a small smile.

"It feels good to be able to help the sweet lady" Chanwo replied.

"Your curse will slowly fade away" said Hwang Ji Na, then grabbed one of the man's hands.

"Wait a minute!" hwang Ji Na continued as she continued to palpate the man's wrist.

"Your heart!" hwang Ji Na exclaimed with excitement.

"Are you serious?" tanya Chanwo hesitated.

"Let me listen to the rhythm of that heartbeat, the heart of the ruler of the people, for a moment" replied Hwang Ji Na and placed her ear on Chanwo's chest.

The girl was unmistakable, she could actually listen to the flat voice with that fixed beat. Finally after a long time, this man's heart came back beating as it should. Even though the dark ones don't need that. They can still live eternally without a heartbeat or breath at all. But this is a good sign for him.
