"If you still feel doubtful about all this, wear my necklace" said Hwang Ji Na

Then he gave her the necklace that had previously been coiled around her neck. It was a silver necklace with a ruby gemstone as its decoration.

"What's the function?" ask Eun Ji Hae.

"Just take this as a talisman that will protect you. The vampire clans and shadow clans will not dare to mess with you. Silver is one of their weaknesses" explains Hwang Ji Na.

"What about the rubies?"

"That's a relic from the alpha clan before they left me."

Eun Ji Hae nodded in understanding, then immediately hooked the object around her neck.

"Let's go in!" hwang Ji Na.

Without lingering any longer, they immediately entered the area of the palace. This time they chose to go through the main road that led directly into the palace. Along the way, there were no signs of danger at all. The soldiers who were standing guard everywhere, did not put up any resistance at all. Even not infrequently of those who pay their respects to Hwang Ji Na as he passes.

"They look so respectful to you" Eun Ji Hae said.

"Of course, I was raised here for a few years."

"Who took care of you while you were here?"

"His mother Chanwo was at once the supreme leader of the entire clan of the darkness. But now he's gone..."

"Why could that be? Isn't the entire clan going to live eternally?"

"Not if they dare to get out of this place."

"What happened to her?"

"The flock of eagles broke that layer of lush foliage, so that the sun penetrated into it."

"It's really unfortunate for them."

"It wasn't just the mother who was wiped out back then, even nearly half of the clan's population was wiped out."

"What is the reason why Chanwo was raised to be the ruler of this forest."

"Yes right, he is the sole crown prince."

"Then why don't you just stay here. They're all being nice to you, even if you're different."

"That's why I can't stay with them. Our differences are not that big."

Eun Ji Hae did not want to ask any further about this matter. He knew so many things he could not understand later.

"So they said Chanwo was in his room" said Hwang Ji Na.

"Through here!" continued.

They go to a scab that leads to only one space. The room is hidden deep in there and will be minimal lighting.

'Tock..tok...'

Hwang Ji Na knocked slowly on the wooden door, but because this place was so quiet her voice sounded clearer than it should. Soon someone from inside opened the door. Permit them to enter into it. That person was Chanwo, the man they had been looking for earlier.

"Oh, Hwang Ji Na? Come inside!" chanwo said so kindly.

The two girls just nodded at his words.

Chanwo took the initiative to light more candles in the room. These guests would not be able to see clearly in such a dark atmosphere.

"And... Who is this girl? From the smell, he is neither one of my kind nor your kind" he continued, sniffing violently.

"I need your help sis, rather this woman," replied Hwang Ji Na as she was.

"What can I do to help him?" asked Chanwo while playing his nails.

"Can you help me get through this forest?"

Finally Eun Ji Hae started to open her voice.

"Do you have a fair reward for that?" reply Chanwo while smiling slyly.

"Alright, then I don't need your help!"

Eun Ji Hae who was being ignited by emotion at that time immediately kicked down the table and headed for the exit. What kind of negotiation this is, it's useless to try to ask for his help this man would never help him at all. He better find his own way out. The fire was strong enough to bully them all.

Yet again, his efforts were in vain. The man moved faster than him, stopping Eun Ji Hae's hand that was about to reach for the door slug. His movements were completely unconscious, he was moving so fast that it was almost like the speed of light.

"Where are you going, our business isn't done yet!" chanwo said while grinning sharply.

"Our business is done!" asserted Eun Ji Hae once again.

He tried to remove the man's grip from his ladder. But all in vain, his strength was much stronger. His body was so stiff, hard as a rock.

"Let go of my hand!" eun Ji Hae snapped as she continued to try to get rid of the man's pale hands.

"Let's sit down and get this done first" Chanwo replied so gently.

"It's better to do it first" said Hwang Ji Na.

Eun Ji Hae was wondering if Hwang Ji Na was trying to frame her. It does not rule out the possibility if these two people have conspired and are planning bad things fortunately.

Such suspicions make you more alert to the circumstances around. Danger might threaten him, lurking from an unexpected angle. By trying to keep looking calm, his two senses of vision continue to watch every movement of his interlocutor.

With a heavy heart, Eun Ji Hae was forced to obey the man's will. While his brain also continues to think so that he managed to escape from this cunning vampire trap.

"This is better, we can talk about it in a good way right? Without having to involve emotions," said the man.

"So what can I help you with?" continued.

It seems like this man has never listened to Eun Ji Hae's words since.

"As I said earlier," Eun Ji Hae replied as she clucked.

"That's all?"

"I want you to order your entire population not to harass me during the journey" Eun Ji Hae explained more specifically.

"All right, I'll do it. It was so easy for me" Chanwo replied

The man then folded his hands in front of his chest. His face was looking straight at Eun Ji Hae with such a haughty look.

"But you have to reward me for that" Chanwo said, leaning his body toward his interlocutor.

"What do you want?" ask Eun Ji Hae.

Honestly, this is the part she hated the most in this conversation. Since long ago he was taught to always help someone with no strings attached at all. And now he's met a very arrogant fucking vampire like this.

"Your blood for example.." whispered Chanwo softly in Eun Ji Hae's ear.

"Don't try! I'm not gonna give it to you!" assertively Eun Ji Hae once again while brushing the man's face from her side.
