Mom For Bhara

Mom For Bhara
3: Mom?!

Natasya continued walking towards the information center. While the little boy named Bhara was increasingly tightened his embrace on Natasya's neck.

"Excuse me, Ma'am," Natasya told officers at the information center.

"Yes, Brother. Can I help you?" answer the officer.

"So this is it, Ma'am. I found this kid alone in the toilet at the other end. It looks like she's separated from her parents" Natasya explained.

The officer saw Bhara curled up and hid his face around Natasya's neck.

"Emmm... Do you know the name of this child?" ask the officer.

"Oh yes, his name is Bhara" replied Natasya.

The officer smiled, "well, brother. Wait a minute, let me check the passenger list."

The clerk typed something on the computer, but then frowned when he could not find what he was looking for.

"There are no passengers on behalf of Bhara, brother," said the officer, "wait a minute, yes, I will tell you the news of the loss on the loudspeaker first."

Natasha just nodded her head. His hand rubbed the back of the child he was carrying at this time. Bhara does not sleep, but he is also reluctant to straighten up and just lean on Natasya.

[Good day, dear Father/Mother. We have found a boy named Bhara. If you are coming with Bhara, please come to the information center immediately.]

Natasya let out a long sigh upon hearing the announcement, she hoped that the parents of this child would come to pick her up soon.

"Wait a minute, Bhara. Soon your parents will come" Natasha said to Bhara.

Natasya's forehead frowned in confusion as she felt Bhara's slow movements on her shoulder that were like shaking her head. It was so slow that he was not sure if the ring was Bhara's answer to his words just now or just a random gesture from the boy.

"I've made an announcement to the visitors at the airport. Her sister sat down first, waiting for her parents to come" the officer told Natasya.

After that, Natasya also sat in a chair provided in the information center area. He intended to put Bhara beside him so that the boy could sit on his own, but the boy instead tightened his grip around Natasya's neck.

"Don't want to sit alone?" ask Natasha gently.

Then, he felt a weak ring from Bhara. Finally, he decided to keep Bhara.

...----------------...

It's been 30 minutes waiting at the information center. In fact, the officer had already broadcast the announcement of the missing child three times, but there was no sign of arrival from Bhara's parents.

"Excuse me, Ma'am. How is this? It was half an hour, but her parents hadn't arrived yet. I'm worried that this child is not just lost here" Natasya told the officer.

"Yes, Brother. Let's ask Bhara something" said the officer, feeling something odd about the situation.

Natasya shook her head slowly, "can't, Ma'am. I've been trying to ask her about her parents' whereabouts since, but Bhara doesn't want to say anything at all."

The officer thought for a moment, "in that case, let me report this first to the airport police. It doesn't seem like it's an ordinary 'getting lost' case."

Natasya just nodded, then sat back down while hugging Bhara who was in her lap. Not long after, two police officers came to Natasya. Officers from the information center also approached Natasya on the seat.

"Excuse me, is this the missing child that was reported?" ask the cop.

"Yes, sir," replied the information center officer.

Then the male police hinted at something to the policewomen who came with him. Then, the policewoman knelt down to align her body with Bhara.

"Hello, Bhara," said the policewoman kindly, "look here for a second, dear."

Bhara, who was still tightly hugging Natasya's neck, slowly turned to look at the policeman.

"Who were you here with, son?" ask the polwan.

Bhara was silent.

"Emmm... Same with your mama? Or your father?" continue the polwan.

And Bhara remained silent, and the boy again hid his face in the recess of Natasya's neck.

"Wait a minute!" stop Natasya, "it looks like Bhara is starving. Can I take him to go find food first?"

"May, but we have to ask for your ID first," replied the policeman, "not to suspect you, but this has become a security procedure."

Then, Natasya grabbed the wallet in her pants pocket, then handed over her ID card.

"This is my ID, my name is Natasha. I'm not taking Bhara anywhere, just foraging around here."

After getting approval from the airport police, Natasya also carried Bhara to a restaurant located not far away. He ordered two servings of fried rice, then occupied one of the empty tables in the restaurant.

"Bhara's hungry, huh? His stomach sounded like that, "natasha's temptation to the boy.

Bhara just stared at him innocently without laughing at all. Natasha sat Bhara in the seat next to her.

"Bhara can eat alone?" tanya Natasya who replied nod by Bhara.

Just wanted to eat her own food, but Natasya saw Bhara's trembling hands as she wanted to spoon the rice into her mouth. The boy looks so powerless.

"Here's a bribe sister, yes," said Natasya took over the spoon in Bhara's small hand.

Natasya painstakingly feeds Bhara. During the feed, the child continued to look into Natasya's eyes with an innocent look. For some reason, being stared at like that, made Natasya's heart ache, as if she felt a deep pain within Bhara.

...----------------...

It was late at night, Natasya still accompanied Bhara at the information center. Police are trying to find information on Bhara.

"Sir Natasya," called one of the police, "we couldn't find any information regarding Bhara's parents."

Natasha was confused, "how could it be? You checked the CCTV, right?"

The policeman nodded, "we've checked the CCTV. But we can't see exactly who took Bhara to the toilet where you found him. The last time Bhara was recorded by CCTV cameras was when he was walking in the lobby area along with someone in all-black clothes."

"A black outfit?" ask Natasya.

"Yes, and we haven't been able to identify who that person is yet. Because after getting into the airport lobby, he just left immediately" explained the police.

"What about Bhara's identity check? We can definitely find out who the parents are from the population data, right?" Natasya.

The policeman let out a long sigh, "we've tried to do it. But apparently, Bhara's birth data was never registered with the government. That means he doesn't have a birth certificate and we can't track who his parents are."

Natasha was surprised by that statement. Information about Bhara would be difficult to obtain if he was not listed in the population data.

"For now, we will take Bhara first while we conduct further searches" said the police officer, "and thank you, because Natasya has helped guard Bhara."

Natasha just nodded her head. He felt a bit heavy-hearted when he was about to hand Bhara over to the police. But what's permissible, not his authority to interfere in this case. His position is now just a civilian who accidentally found a missing child, and who is authorized to take care of the child is the authorities.

The police officer had wanted to take Bhara who was in Natasya's arms, but the boy did not want to let go of his embrace to Natasha in the slightest.

"Emmm... Bhara, go with the police mother first, yes," said Natasya softly.

Bhara just shook her head. Natasya glanced at the policewoman for help.

"Come, Bhara. Come with me first, we'll find your family later" the policewoman said as she tried to pull Bhara's body.

Bhara tried to resist when the policeman wanted to carry her.

"Hiks... Hicks..."

Everyone started to flutter when they heard Bhara start crying.

"Eh, Bhara, don't cry, the mother of the police is not evil" the police officer said.

Bhara looked up at Natasya and said, "mama..."

"Eh?! Mama?!"
