23: Anger

Hendry walked into the house tired and moody. He had just returned from his 'service trip' to negotiate with the head of the KUA, but it seemed like the meeting was not going well.

Currently, all members of the Adikusuma family have gathered in the living room of the luxurious house to await his return. They all immediately stood up when they saw the head of the family entering the house. Anjani ran over to her husband and helped him take off the suit he was wearing.

Hendry sighed tiredly, then shook his head softly, "the KUA side does not want to fake Natasya's marriage data."

"Alan, we've all agreed to do this" Hendry said in a cold tone.

Alan screeched, "clean, I never agreed with your rotten plans."

"Even if you know all our family plans, but you never do anything to protect Natasya, you don't even tell the girl at all" Johnathan said.

Alan hardened his jaw hearing Johnathan's words. Her brother was right that she was also just as guilty here for not doing anything to Natasha. Meanwhile, Johnathan simply looked at his sister with a flat gaze.

"We better all go back to our rooms" said Hendry.

Then, Hendry nodded and gestured for the security guard to leave them.

"Natasha-"

Hendry's words stopped when Natasya opened the map in her hand. Hendry was very surprised because the map was a map containing files belonging to Johnathan. The man cursed his stupidity that left the map on the table.

Natasya threw all the contents of the map in front of the Adikusuma family until the pieces of paper scattered on the floor. Meanwhile, Hendry and the others were shocked because of the girl's actions.

"Natasha! What are you doing?" yelled Anjani, and the woman gathered to pick up the pieces of paper.

"Why are you tearing these papers?!" anjani Protest.

Natasha looked at Anjani whose position was now lower than her with a flat gaze.

"I should ask what do these useless papers mean?" asked Natasya in a cold tone.

They all fell silent, unable to answer the girl's question. The Natasya they knew was a kind-hearted hardworking girl, who always smiled kindly to everyone. Tonight, they see the other side of Natasha who has risen because they have hurt the girl.

"Mr Adikusuma," called Natasha to Hendry, "You intend to betray me?"

Hendry flinched, he was confused to have to answer Natasya's question.

"Natasya.., it's not so, son."

Natasya's eyebrows shot up next to her, "didn't you think? Then, what? Why is it written on these stupid papers that your eldest son will be Bhara's adoptive father?"

"Master, I'm not stupid to know what situation is going on right now. You pretend to help me, and then after all the files I've collected, you'll seize them all to adopt Bhara on behalf of Mr. Johnathan. It's called treason!" natasya said with a high tone at the end.

"What I want to ask is what's the reason you're doing all this?" lirih Natasha.

"Please, you read it yourself" said Johnathan, handing Natasya a piece of paper.

The girl looked at Johnathan with a puzzled look on her face. However, he accepted the paper and began to read its contents. Yes, it's a report of Johnathan and Bhara's DNA test results. Natasya's reaction was the same as Adikusuma's family's reaction when they first learned that fact. Astounded.

"W-what? So, Bhara's a doctor's real son?" natasha asked Johnathan with a look of disbelief.

Johnathan nodded softly, "yes. Now you understand, why do we insist on getting Bhara's custody?"

A few moments quiet. Natasha did not reply to Johnathan immediately. They all thought that Natasha understood their situation and wanted to work together. But, all of a sudden...

THE PLAQUE!!

Everyone was shocked when Natasya suddenly slapped Johnathan on the cheek and made a loud noise. Then, the girl spoke in a furious manner.

"So, you tortured and abandoned Bhara?!"
