Miss Yeti is No Ordinary PSK
Terrified

Mr. Akihiko, who entered and sat in the passenger seat of his own car, smiled in silence. His gaze focused on Yati who was carefully driving the car in the middle of the busy city traffic.

The Japanese man's eyes exuded a mysterious gleam, as if harboring a secret that had yet to be revealed.

"You, especially, Miss Yeti."

After muttering so, Mr. Akihiko asked his driver to return to the office.

On the other hand, Yati was relieved to be able to return to the rented house after a long day in the hospital and meet with Mr Akihiko, conveying.

He turned on the living room lights and sat down on the sofa, thinking about the condition of his father who was being treated in the hospital. Despite her anxious heart, Yati knows that her father is in good care under the supervision of Nina's mother.

"Huhfff .. I'm tired."

While sitting on the sofa, Yati looks around, then smiles to herself as her eyes are glued to the photo of herself with Mbok Inah.

The photo was deliberately brought by Yati, to feel that she remained near the person she loved so much.

"Mbc. Yati here, again. But with a different intention."

He smiled in light of the happy moments they had together. However, his mind was re-shrouded as he pondered over his father's condition.

"Father needs treatment, and Yati is forced to bring her here. Hm ..."

A few minutes later, Yati decided to take a shower and take a break. He felt tired after a full day of travel between the hospital and the rented house, coupled with a small debate with Mr Akihiko, earlier.

In the silence of the bathroom, the warm water calmed the tired Yati body.

"It's better," he murmured softly.

After taking a bath, she decided to lie down for a while on the bed.

"It is fortunate that Nina's mother is willing and willing to remain in Jakarta, along with caring for her father."

In the darkness of the room, Yati's mind floated. She pondered about how Nina's mother was so considerate of her father in the hospital. Yati feels lucky to have a caring and dedicated nurse like Nina's mother.

"Oh yeah, I should go to bed and go back to the hospital, later."

On the verge of falling asleep, Yati reminded herself to return to the hospital after a short break. He knew that although he needed rest, his father also needed his support and presence there.

With a feeling of relief and a calmer mind, Yati finally fell asleep. He was confident that he would wake up with a new spirit to return to accompany his father in the hospital and provide full support.

Tok tok tok tok

There was a sound of the door being knocked on by someone from outside.

Tok tok tok tok

Again, the terms of the knock were clearly heard in Yati's ears who had just fallen asleep.

Yati woke up from her sleep, shocked by the sound of knocking on the door as she was told to open. His heart was pounding, and she felt suddenly aware of her surroundings.

"Who's out there? I-I .. don't have any acquaintances here."

The dim moonlight entered through the window and illuminated part of the sleeping space, creating faint shadows on the walls.

The woman sat up straight on the bed, squinting her eyes at the door. His mind was raging, trying to figure out a way to deal with this situation.

"Nobody knows this house. And either Rina or Mr. Akihiko too" he muttered.

Yati felt she had no acquaintances living near her rented house, so this really became a disturbing mystery.

His ears were trying to listen to every sound out there. The sound of soft footsteps that did not sound familiar to him, the gusts of wind rustling, and the occasional gurgling sound of leaves. However, right then and there, a knock on the door came back, louder this time, breaking the silence of the night.

"Open no, huh? I'm, scared."

Yati felt her adrenals rise. He felt around him looking for something that could be used as a weapon if necessary. His trembling hands clung tightly to the object he found, the mosquito racket, which was ready to be used as a tool to deal with anything that might happen.

"It's better than I don't have a gun" he said softly.

However, before he could make any further decisions, the sound of voices from outside began to prove his existence. He heard the soft voice of a woman who said quietly.

Tok tok tok tok

"W-Who ... who's out there?!" urged Yati with a trembling voice, her eyes widened to the door that was engulfed in a dark shadow. His heart was pounding hard, his mind was trying to string together the worst that could happen.

"No one can come here now, right? In the middle of the night like this?" muttered Yati alone, her hands still clutching the thing she could make a weapon with.

"Oh my God, is this a robber? Or thieves? What am I supposed to do?" yati chuckled in a choking voice, her breathing gasping for air with increasingly rampant fear.

Tok tok tok tok

"Mom, open the door. Ms. Yati."

"Listen carefully, don't you dare enter! I-I .. I have a way to defend myself, so don't mess with me!" yati said in a trembling tone, trying to give a false threat to anyone who might be out there.

But the moment she heard the voice of the woman speaking outside the door, Yati felt confused, scared and increasingly panicked.

"But ... but how does he know my name? Is this their trick to get me to open the door?" thought Yati in her confusion.

"W-who are you really?! Don't pretend to recognize me!" yati exclaimed in a rising voice, her eyes constantly fixated on the door that opened slightly.

He was still afraid to let go of his vigilance completely.

Finally, when Yati heard clearly if it was Nina's mother about her arrival, her tense and frantic tone slowly began to subside.

"I'm sorry, Mrs Yati. I'm Nina, Mr. Wasito's nurse from the hospital. There's something important, and Mbak Yati's phone is off."

"Oh .. So you're Nina's mother? I'm sorry, I was just so scared earlier." said Yati in a soft voice, a sense of relief and regret swaying in her words.

When she heard those words, Yati felt relieved and removed her tight grip from the mosquito racket she was holding. He walked cautiously towards the door, still alert yet calmer than before.

Chequek!

"Mom Nina?"

When he opened the door, before him stood a mature woman with a warm smile on her face. It was Nina's mother, her father's nurse.

"Sorry, Ms. Yati."

"What's up, Miss Nina? Dad, in the hospital alone?" yati asked tensely from feeling worried.

"Yes, Mother. But, I've left it to the nurse and the doctor."

Ms. Nina explained understandingly about the reason for her arrival. He tells Yati that his father's condition is stable, but there are developments that need to be informed.

Yati was relieved to hear it and felt grateful for the presence of Nina's mother.

"Come on, come on in, Miss Nina!"

"Yes, Ms. Yati. Thank you, and sorry again."

While still in suspense and anxious, Yati invites Nina's mother inside. The two sat in the living room, talking carefully about the latest news regarding Yati's father.

Under the dim light and relief, the initially tense situation finally became a lighter and understanding conversation.
